I sometimes have dreams where I found somebody to possess unreleased goa lol. Then he copies the stuff to me, I'm going home to play it aaaand.... alarm clock.

It's already "done in the future" and MR2 has a press of 1000 units. It's gotta do with the fact that we agreed pressing 604 copies (there's 614 in reality) has a great sound to it. What we didn't take into consideration was the amount of copies we need to send to all artists involved. As a sidenote - I reckon Mind Rewind 2 is the best out of the two... but of course MR3 will be even better than those. ;-]

Classic techno banger. I don't find the monotony of techno that interesting, but this track's one of the best in its own niche. 8/10* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdhoX1Xu6ZI

I guess we're slowly, but surely heading for the direction where technological and social progress give pressure for religions to adjust their ways of spreading the spiritual message. Religions will change for better but it takes time, they're the product of their times and reflect the awareness and growth of human race on planetary scale. My friend ouroboros, religion will always surface on the face of planet earth as long as you live and forever after. I hope sincerely you would understand this and not have grudge against religions or religious people because it's a heavy burden to carry such a feeling. Religions will, as far as I've understood it, finally merge into one when people are truly aware of their spiritual side and renew religion to be fundamentally a tool for self growth, rather than a blind belief system that's followed in the fear of punishment rather than love for God. I can understand your grudge to some degree if we are to take into closer inspection some of the writings let's say in the Bible for example. It's clear to a modern, critical human that this book has its flaws, but one shouldn't be all black and white about. It's still a well book having lots of valuable wisdom for humankind. Benefit of religion in its most fundamental element is that it allows God-knowing/God-searching people to socially interact, change ideas and strengthen their belief by openly confessing it in front of others.

New into the Trance genre as a whole, looking for some guidance.

I've got a very small wantlist these days... the most sought after old school diamond on it I even had like 6-7 yrs ago, sold it back then for 40e + Atmos so I guess it was alright to open up my wallet a bit and correct my big mistake.

I agree on your view. He's definitely a passionate (= doing it for a long time) producer and he did indeed stay true to the roots of the music. Jason pointed out he made a couple really well collabs which I'd like to agree with as well. But as a solo artist, there's hardly anything that I could say to be the best of the best that the genre has to offer. He didn't go where the fence was the lowest, but as you say, hasn't been able to reach a signature sound (I thought he would in 15+ years but...) that to hearing it, one could say "oi! It's Tristan!".

Thanks mate glad you like it... yeah, too lazy to compress into mp3 and now when you don't have any size limitations on soundcloud then I thought why not. I'd be curious to hear that aussie mix!

Namaste Bhaiji! Aap Kaise Ho? Have a good stay. I reckon this is the best psy-oriented forum out there, so you came to the right place. You probably noticed the yearly review section here? I reckon it's priceless info, by reading thru them you'll gain a vast knowledge of the history of this music.

Unfortunately I find him quite uninspired, never on the forefront of quality. He made a track called "Paraphernalien" in the 90s that I enjoy thou... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DgheteOHSk

Alcohol is alright when taken with caution. It's never good in big doses: It harms the body and therefore affects mental abilities. Long term use lessens one's ability to think clearly and make moral choices. Drinking a lot tells about one's relation to himself: if he needs to drink excessively in a social environment it's a clear message about lacking self confidence. To fix the lack of self confidence, on the other hand, takes a long term plan of mental re-adjustment and a key trigger there is the person to start accepting him as he is. And here we see alcohol ruins this possibility and therefore drinking in large quantities is a vicious cycle. I hope you all relatively sober year 2014. :--)

I got an idea to make an exclusive german set... they've got a distinct style I love! X-Dream and the likes included. https://soundcloud.com/sab-kuch-milegator/german-school-goa-trance-mix

It's a tad restrained, insignificant melody line - there's nothing blatant about it. Wouldn't call it cheesy by any standard. On the sidenote: Whow, Etnica is like insta-skip these days, huh?

After Death is a top drawer track, almost going to that "Twin Sharkfins" spirit. Good album althou the mastering is too loud.

I miss the days when Darkpsy meant stuff like Satori's Razor or Sandman's End of The World... ;----)

VA - Mind Rewind 2 (DMRCD002)
Oopie replied to draeke's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Hi GC, I've got an unreleased version of that track (not 100% sure if it's the same as Gus Till is talking about.) It's quite similar to the released version just like MWNN's Moment of Truth on this comp. I might go as far as saying it's not worth the disc space but let's see... =)- 91 replies
