Oh man Penzo, I used to be an ebayholic and made a lot of finds there. Nowadays good deals are hard to come by thou. These suomi cds I bought on discogs - the trade/sale topic under goa group is one thing you ought to check out once in a while! Thanks. It's a pleasant feeling to find something after a long wait.
-
It's an amazing album and I've been looking it years for a decent price. Spent 35e for this and Recreational Drugs va, a fair deal I reckon.

Suomisaundi jewelry.
-
Sigh. Maybe we should've printed a bigger press.

What music are you listening to right now?
Oopie replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
Penzo: Got this as a present. I find it very well executed in the small niche that it represents. Alienesque, rapid and uncompromising especially towards the later half of the album. Was a bit a of a grower on me as I usually pass this sort of releases, but would recommend this one. -
Not necessarily. I remember being 16yrs. with no connections thinking "Eey! Let's have a goa party!" and it happened and attracted around 200 ppl. Admittedly I had the best of luck meeting the right people and artists (bom bhole nath! ) . It's still in the worx, but if everything goes smooth I ought to organise an old school oriented forest party late summer. There's no pure goa parties anywhere so we're on a mission! ;---)

Etnica for sure. And a name not mentioned so often: Semsis. They had a distinct sound in 96/97.

Hey, I just ordered their newest "Up". Samples sounded great to me, check it out. ;---)

It's going to be a fairly uncomplete list as a couple of these artists are a bit unknown and well, couple are also some that I don't find to done anything particularly worth mentioning. 1. Alienapia - High Visual Philosophy (need to listen the album again to be sure...) 5. Afgin - ???????? 6. E-Mantra - Moon Walker 7. Crossing Mind - HypnoTropic 8. Ra - Reign of Madness 9. Lost Buddha/Amithaba Buddha - ???????? 15. Khetzal - Glaciales Lacrimae 16. Sky Technology - vs. Nova Fractal - Dark Energy 17. Zelur Project/SynSun - ???????? 18. Mindsphere - ???????? 19. Liquid Flow - Tribal Vision 20. Trinodia - Human History where's Nova Fractal? And Aavepyörä? Damnit! Aavepyörä deserves more credit. -

"I don't need to answer this question because x". The most important questions you often want to left unanswered!

Here it goes: Could you date a girl/man who has the same name as your dad/mom? I did ask this before years ago. I think most answered yes. ... but I certainly couldn't.

Yes, mostly old school goa hehe. I've tried and perhaps succeeded to a point to get a broad collection of electronic music, but always get drawn back to goa. It is spiritual music. Every type of music has certain vibrations to it and thus is represented in general by a set of specific themes. There's a reason why goa trance flirts with themes such as space exploration/future technology, aliens, God, growth of self and ethics. It combines positive, creative, psychedelic and danceable aesthetics of sound like no other style.
-
Although a couple of his recent tracks are half-decent, I'll add Cosmosis on the list.
-
Okay there's no arguing Koxbox is the answer when it comes to old school. As for new stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciKZDoz8M38

After 10 years... I finally know what is the best goa track ever! :)
Oopie replied to Anoebis's topic in General Psytrance
You make very unique music and I hope you keep on going years to come. Actually, well this is an *if*, but if I'm able to pull off a forest party for next summer I'm strongly considering to be in touch... -

I've given this a few spins, and although it's indeed energetic, this Talamasca guy is hardly talented when it comes to proper melodies (the later half of 'Cancer' could be counted as an exception). The kick, production values and everything here makes me put this more in the nitzonot genre than anything else. I like your music way better. -

Came across undiscovered gem... -
I'm gonna throw my vote on Exuus' Hentai.
