Hi all. Enjoy the newest in killah's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7u3tmfrBwYk

Ormion, you're the best artist I've confronted in ages. Love all your work! You seem to have really similar vision to where "goa" sound could be evolving the following years. Keep it up!
-
Saw 3 times (one of them being my 1st psyparty), they rocked every time... Eat Static!
-
Electric Universe - The guy might have a few good tracks up his sleeve, also 'Cosmic Experience' was quality. Other than that, the older productions are too simplistic/dated (and were at the time of releasing when compared to the best artists) and newer productions is your basic 'trying to stay in the game' party poop. Dimension 5 - I might be alone with my view, but this is the way I see it: but they released a lot of easy, plain simple too repetitive goa; tracks where the melodies and themes go on and on and on, without variation! This happened on all their productions up till '95. Later on, they made a few killer cuts that are found on 'Transdimensional' and the singles 'Iron Sun rmx' + 'Temple Of Chaos' also have that extra edge, level of deepness that somewhat justifies their status. 'Second Phaze' isn't bad but in the end somewhat forgettable and Hunab Ku material is just cheesefest to the max.
-
Satori - Razor As the years pass by, the more I love it. Dark'n'acidic to the max.
-
I reckon you approach the whole situation from monetary aspect as yours truly appreciates visuality more. Getting 20-30e more for the potential sell of the product hardly gives me a hard-on. "Different strokes for different folks" as the saying goes.

I have the nova tekk version. It's easily my fav'e of the 2 pressings. Enhanced colors plus correct track lenghts. Let's face it: If the dragonfly version would be perfect, they wouldn't have made changes to the nova tekk one.
-
40 euros delivered. Must admit this being the priciest goa cd I bought, but guess that's for a reason!
-
Man, you guys have posted here some of my fav'e tracks. Even found a few new ones nice. Check out if you can: Blacklight - ...of the Darkside The bassline is devastating, one of the best kept secrets in old school... (until now )

Got this recently. Or should I say, finally.

Hi ya'll. I've got a few cds available for trade or sale in near mint condition: 1. va - Full On Trance - Not on Discogs. Includes Uni and Uvantam.com tracks for example. This compilation is pretty good, the style is basically remaking pop-tracks into full-on versions. I've got 2 copies so... 2. va - Trance Gamer from Paris - Not on Discogs. It's more trance oriented va. The catch here is the inclusion of Asura's Stone Hedge, it's a great old goa trance track from them, only to be found on this comp I think! 3. Yutaka Fukuoka - Y.Voices - Not on Discogs. Versatile japanese folk/electronic stuff.

The Orb feat David Gilmour - Metallic Spheres

I was left unimpressed. -
This forum's been relatively inactive for some time now. The closing of off-topic made a lot of visitors disappear as the range of discussion was narrowed. To be perfectly honest, there's only so many times when you can ask about your fav'e goa cds etc. How many times one comes here, checks what's up to notice there's 2 new posts as the result of a whole day? It's been a great ride but I understand, and don't feel so bad if Mars decides to call it a day.

Transwave and Jaia would share the 1st place, but considering Transwave having at least the double amount of ace tracks the decision was easy in the end. Here's how I see it: Great goa tracks by the top groups Transwave Malaka Dance Land Of Freedom The Rezwalker Zero Density Trashish My Dear Medical Assurance Robostyx Hypersphere Axonal Flamycogire Cycles Of Life Jaia Brainstorm Brainstorm (live rmx) Mai Mai Nasty Angel Sillenium Tweested Zone There's something cheesy about Total Eclipse productions, most of their tracks sound unsophisticated to my ears. But they did a handful of excellent tracks too. Total Eclipse Free Lemonade Waiting For A New Life Transparent Mind The Furnace Virtual Terminal Energised Chaotic Circus

The free comp 'Morphing Psyche' by People of the Butterflies caught me off guard. Going thru it I kept on waiting for that average track but it never happened... check it out. -
item you paid most and the one you paid less (but that values)
Oopie replied to draeke's topic in General Psytrance
Most: Ubar Tmar's Fusion 30 euros Least: Bypass Unit's Drops of Obscure Eclipses 1 euro -
Bought it on the strength of 'Lullaby' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_K1M-rMUVI

Man, they sure sent you the promo early.

I'm little into japanese electronics as well. It's often out of my price range thou. here's something you might wanna check out: http://www.discogs.com/Tanzmuzik-Sinsekai/master/30885 http://www.discogs.com/label/Syzygy+Records http://www.discogs.com/Electrical-Lovers-Micro-Land/release/1289793 http://www.discogs.com/artist/Rei+Harakami Nice to see you found GOL. Hope you didn't have to empty your pockets for it.

Dark needs some light to actually sound malicious, if you make a track without any contradictive elements the end results are insipid. it just went downhill from here.... here's a modern example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hPISZZQy8w
-
Hello my dear friends. I'd really like to see my tradelist cds go, what's the use for them to collect dust in my shelf? I believe there's some good music there, some will like it more than I did. So: Forget the prices. I will give you multiple items (3-5) for one relatively cheap cd bought from discogs. And I mean it, my pick will cost you less than 10 euros.

Exelization - Mindblast Technology
Oopie replied to Penzoline's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Fockin' aye. This is rock solid work Ormion! Some of the best psytrance I've heard in ages. -
We had a similar discussion on finnish psyforum. I tried to find the guys behind OOK with slim results, I remember even an australian label manager wanting to release their tracks but couldn't reach them. I'm pretty sure they quited the scene for good. The names of the guys in this group are P. Akrenius and J. Varjonen. My best advice is to contact Exogenic Records, a label that released their tracks.
