  1. Impossiiblo. I believe every psy freak could mention at least 5 titles they consider perfect from start to finish. Tracks you wouldn't want to change in any way. Perhaps to still participate, one track on my 'perfect pie recepies' list: Hux Flux - Time Slices (rmx)
  2. Yah this is the one. It's unique, versatile, and has a very rare quality - there's no filler or "just good" tracks. It's near perfect from start to finish and that makes it stand out.
  3. Hi guys. I think you might enjoy this really old Eat Static live set, from the very beginning of their career. Eat Static London '91
  4. I know you've all been waiting for an update for the past 6 months so here it is...
  5. How come you get so close but still wrong? The Flippidy Dippidy Project http://www.discogs.com/artist/Flippidy+Dippidy+Project%2C+The
  6. Might be hard. Hint: It's old school, a known producer used this name for one track...
  7. TIP - Tribadelic Meltdown EP Some of the first goa eps out there I think... very pleasant music.
  8. Yes nothing uncommon. The Hux Flux remix was pretty good, but considering how excellent the original is, it's no surprise. His own tracks were quite standard I think.
  9. Baked Beans - Baked Beans Tournesol - Kokotsu old school stuff
  10. I remember seeing some really good oxezy track on youtube and got excited of him. Checking more of his works however, lead me to a conclusion his usual standards are quite average. This track falls quite clearly in the average pile, the "darkpsy" effects are imo nothing exciting just the usual random sounds without sense. I do see your reason to post this track was the melody hook; it's not bad but it's still conservative, easy to make melody that's repeated too many times. Repetition of melody isn't a good factor in such a twisted genre as darkpsy. Secondly, that melody frankly sounds out of place with that darkpsy setting; there's no interaction what so ever. You could've as well take a good ambient track and play it parallel to any given average darkpsy offering and have same results.
  11. Not sure but instantly thought of Juno Reactor.
  12. I'm not sure if there are proper words to describe how happy this news makes me feel. Thumbs up!
  13. No I haven't. Are there some tracks you recommend to check out?
  14. I can't get into these darkpsy tracks offered here, they're twisted to some degree (but actually conservatively twisted in my standard) but lack the sort of melodic sensibility or playfulness that makes great darkpsy for me personally. I ultimately feel these artists aren't really pursuing the cutting edge of what darkpsy could be (according to the tracks provided in this topic). It's a potential genre for sure (I'm eagerly waiting for a sort of darkpsy/goa trance collision in the near future). Here's example of good playful darkpsy (sorry for slight OT ) http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-a5TXsjJgc
  15. I'm sorry for my obviously bad humour....
  16. Got this as a gift from a fellow piemember. Nice!
  17. Must say Blacklight. http://www.discogs.com/Blacklight-Across-The-Gulf-Of-Space-Of-The-Darkside-Messaging/release/310253 The killer on this vinyl I gave a link to is '...of the darkside', the bassline is thunderous. Other one that comes to my mind is Pan's 'Cake'.
  18. added and removed stuff. have a look...
  19. Some great music here indeed. Really hope DAT could release some of the tracks.
