Quite different indeed. I own (and voted for) the Japanese version. Bought it after thoroughly checking each track some years ago.

Reduced prices... going cheap.

The mixing sounds surprisingly bad on Filteria - Filtertraces (AP Rmx). I can't really recognize open or high hats, and then again that snare sound on every other beat is really loud... until around 9 minutes mark where they use another snare sound/decrease the volume(?). Idk, just sounds weird to my ears.

It's early 90s goa trance definitely... the innocent & simple melody with that bassline must be from around 92-94. I've heard it I'm quite sure but truly can't remember the title.

A chance to bring something fresh on the table, I mean you could hardly ask a better artist to remix isn't it? Now, a couple of the remixes are good in fact, Dickster takes Our Own Happiness and makes a decent 2017 full-on version out of it. He was able to maintain the spirit of the original track I reckon. AP and MWNN give decent remixes as well. MWNN, being maybe the greatest remixer ever in this genre, doesn't quite reach the level of his past works but it still might be the best remix here! But... there's a lot of garbage here too. I won't go in the dirty details but surely this remix cd would've been better if it was just 1CD or if they asked Sab Kuch Milegator to remix the other cd, I dunno!...

I don't usually write negative critics these days (who reads it anyway & does it do a real difference? I ask to myself) but this release set a new record low for psytrance. I wouldn't nor couldn't imagine somebody 1) butchering such an amount of classics (and, I assume, releasing them with permission???) and 2) making old goa trance classics, which are meant to be listened as a whole, such an easy feast - junk food really. None of the tracks have any logic, he's squeezing too many climaxes in a single track. The whole release is the psytrance equivalent to modern society's sickness: come up with an easy fix for the short-attention-span people and the money is yours.

How about Galactic Mantra? My favorite new school producer (the ear for melody is second to none) You know Morphem?

Funny, but I think my old opinion still stands. Etnica - Mental Puzzle (Used to circulate under the name Monkey Business) Pleiadians - Pleiadians Crop Circles - Different Species (Pitch +10% and it transforms into something epic)

There's only one to mention... Oforia! Great stuff, I'm pleased to some degree with the recent neogoa music, but for me... honestly, not a great year. Honestly feel there's a lot of potential that's not coming to life but... well, each to their own.

Yeah, I thought some people would enjoy to download the mix instead. A couple rarities is always nice to have in the lot. I was thinking about including another unreleased track too: "Earth Nation - Alienated (Hallucinogen Rmx)" but I don't think it really matches his usual standards. It's not a flawless mix by any means (just listen to that atrociously loud crash cymbal in Mandala's Utopia... kinda hard to mix in smoothly.) ps. Sorry Antic no artist news in at least half a year - it was more a goofy joke as I've been making so many of these mixes recently.

Hola! This is the 2nd of 3 mixes I'll be posting this month. (Don't worry - gonna be quiet after that...) While 'Cosmic Cosmetics' was just a random mix of this and that - this second one is more carefully picked. A couple shoddy mixes aside, this is the kind of DJ mix I wanted to do for long. A mix of gritty, punishing dark goa trance with techno undertones they used to do around the turn of millenia. Towards the end the mix takes a turn into more melodic direction... because there's always light at the end of the tunnel. (<-- I hate this wink smiley. Is the guy having a stroke or what?) 1. Some of the melodies might sound random at first glance, but there's some undeniable freshness in his composition technique. He's developed as an artist that's for sure. While I can't say an opinion about the album so soon, it's definitely something that deserves closer inspection.
