  1. email: Mauri here, thanx for your remarks on our pre-millenium music, it is an honor for me to be recognized as responsible for producing " the most impressive sound of goa there ever was" Even though it's not so cool to know you don't like the newest stuff .... :-) Anyway, so many things have changed since those "analog years" , we have now a large amount of bands making this kind of electronic dance music we call psytrance and the public, or "dancefloors" also changed incredibly, the focus for many artists (specially for the older ones) has been on improving the production, cleaner and more dynamic sound to compete on the same level with other kinds of dance music, or even with new names in the trance scene. Basically keeping that "underground" feeling became quite impossible, a lot of the tracks produced now that people consider as "goa" usually lack in the production side... Ok, getting back to your request about sharing old unreleased, it is fine for me
  2. texas faggott is great Yeh I didn't quite get into OOOD. So it's available, only listened two times!
  3. I like it too! 1st and last track work the best for me
  4. OOOD's new one and Texas Faggott's Petoman's Peflett. Gr8 stof! thanks psymas
  5. I also find Filteria's compositional arrangements quite chaotic, they lack harmony. But there's plenty of time for his sound and skills to mature so I'm looking forward what the future holds up!
  6. oh cool! such a generous gesture from you Jikkenteki and Faze, thanx! I've heard such positive comments of the Jikkenteki double album I can hardly wait, what a xmas present! <3 <3
  7. good buy I'd say! One of the best idm producers from Funland I've come across.
  8. Yeah Eat Static indeed. Their live show has set my standards of good performance to a whole another level. They truly can make people go nuts on the dancefloor. From the albums I like "Alien Artifacts", "Alien EPs" and "Adbuction" the most. Melodic, intelligent and u-f-o at the same time!
  9. you can get 10-15 from green dreams I'd say
  10. the samples of the yet unreleased tracks didn't sound at all that fascinating. the samples were short though.
  11. galaxy 2 galaxy - hi-tech jazz (live version) the live version has the original's (1993) acid line turned into sublime piano riff. this track has everything you could hope for, electronic music with soul! detroit techno meets jazz and the results are <3<3<3 I couldn't recommend this track more. perfection.
  12. "I prefer completely new tracks because I don't like to hear the same ideas recycled" remixes can be totally different from the original. new tracks can sound like bad remixes. eh? -if it's good I don't care for the title-
  13. no worry trancechick, check this out: http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=33693 there's few copies for sale. I'd say go ahead and buy it, it's xmas innit?
  14. Trancechick, please do yourself a favour and buy the x-dream double corker. It's a good retrospective to x-dream's more than impressive productions. They truly master their own thing, from the bright hard-trance to dark tech-banging. I'd say their "radio" from 1998 is in my all time top-5 albums (!)
  15. I chose 1.5/5. I find this status quite alright thou, as there's still some fresh ideas to keep me happy and to a certain extent, excited. Psy is like any other genre; each have their lows and peaks.
  16. added, removed, edited. now there's quality nitzhonot from 1998 in.
  17. got this from mail today... http://www.discogs.com/release/784067 it was either nitzhonot of full on... now at the track #4 slide. whow! I never thought I'd enjoy such stuff but
  18. me too hah or jikkenteki could even swap you something nice in return!
  19. you're buying gimmik and abfahrt hinwil right? martin haidinger is really talented producer

    Ololiuqui - Dito

Indeedy! This album is lovely. A sort of minimal, but still bursting with ideas. Something psy-genre hadn't heard back then, or after! All the tracks have their own flava, a spicy one if I may add. ;-> I find all the tracks trippi and full of imagination, perfect for home listening. I've listened to this album god knows how many times, and every time it still delivers, perhaps because there's so much beneath the surface. Did I mention the cover art is the coolest? Spirit Zone sure knew how to make engaging package around good music back then! Get it if you have the chance <3
