far from awful. the album even has few tracks I consider quite good quality. overall the album represents the french goa sound that was dominant at the time. and even if I'd say it sucks it doesn't mean anything. since when I've had a good taste?

it shouldn't require too much of intelligence to understand when a person is talking from a personal point of view. Even if it did, you can always ask him/her to clear things up.

I had the period of pure fanboyism towards Posford. Thought everything he touches is magnificent. Well, long gone are those days... He has made very much awerage productions too. But anyways, Hallucinogen albums are and will always be something out of this worldy. He surely captured the pure essence of 'psychedelia' on those albums. who the fuck?

nothing worse than a track playing in your head and you don't know what it is!

I haven't heard much brilliance recently. When I comment about it some people tell me "this is what's produced these days, get used to it". I find that extremely pathetic. Why on earth should I ever compromise and delude myself thinking some shait is actually worth listening? But instead of whining I'm doing my effort to promote old school sound. More action, less talking. And fortunately there's loads of old stuff I still haven't heard! =]

This album is luminous, nostalgic and shimmering downtempo-ish goa if there's any! Could Etnica ever go wrong those days? This album is filled with emotional slowly building soundscapes that will tranquillize into dream-like state where you just flow in a timeless state. When the trip is over you feel all around good buzz in you. This is a perfect way to start a day too if you have time for some mesmerizing music. Can't pick any favourites either, this is a journey if there ever was one. Something that after 10 years still sounds so alien made and probably nothing like this will be made again. So get this! ps. I'm quite sure this belongs to 1995 section.

yes this is the best example of emotional downtempo-ish goa. and I was quite surprised when I got it, looks like it's just been opened from a shrink-wrap. what are you listening charlie boy? -

I'm listening to Huopatossu Mononen, the finnish midi-legend. right now mätä hammas which is nothing less than... I'm sure it'd get the radical approvement of quality. -
Yes I think they made brilliant work there! Maybe their best, if I dare to say. Haven't got the cd yet but the tracklist looks more than impressive. Loaded with BPC & Slinky goodness. =]

Well I have heard it few times in the past... my hazy memory says it's worth selling (for some amount of €€) sure I'll let you know!... but then again, how often you get technossomy for fiver?
-
yes 2, no 3 cds in total for 10 euros wonderful indeed! yes you don't get these deals on ebay. ;] tell you what, I'll listen to it once (I'll get it next week) and I'll let you know if it's for sale.
-
yes, yes, YES! now go and use that anger for howling at the moon part 2.

Well for me, X-Dream - Panic In Paradise. It's crossover of g' ol' goa and darker soundscapes that only X-Dream could execute. All the tracks are carefully chosen and do not appear on other X-Dream's cds (or am I wrong?). This is ear-candy for any psyfan, from darker industrial grave diggers to fluffy goa candy ravers. You can see it's well, "rare-ish" in discogs, BUT on ebay.de you can find it for 10 euros. So it's normally priced jewel, no-one should miss this! Definitely something you can't get bored at very easily. In fact, the more you listen to it the more you "discover".

radi is mp3 mass terrorist. he doesn't know the word "cd". though cd-r(adi) is a command he listens to.

plz lol I surrender! the thing is, Cosmosis has made tracks where the whole track is a climax. now you get "only for 32 bars of the tune during the final section."
-
today I saw a nice package when I came home, it included: Ketha Minh - Ketha Minh X-Dream - Panic In Paradise thanks Jeppäääärson! I'll pay you next week edit: no I won't, sorry! I just bought Technossomy - Synthetic Flesh and va - Re:Evolution for 10 euros in total... I'm just human.
-
It's not a matter if you want or not. You made a promise to make a track that's cosmosis-level psy. There's no escaping that.

I would almost say I'm not seeing you 10.6. ps. sorry to say this, but your sound system really takes a lot of edge off from goa. www.aavepyora.net
