jungleteknow - 21-Apr-06 03:15 AM This is by far the worst Pendulum release so far. Not sure why they have managed to stumble from their throne after making some of the heaviest tunes of the last couple of years?! Both tracks on this vinyl are pretty dull and lack the excitement that is usually existant in Pendulum tunes. Hopefully this will be a one off experience. Rating: 2.2/5 (5 votes)

What music are you listening to right now?

Symphoid - Scissorbeats Sooth slow evolver-revolver! The melodies are recorded at the tranquillity lake at sunrise. but it changed! Symphoid - Spiral Staircase. We are acting politely to each other. Ladies know to put hand in front of their mouths when they giggle. I take it all in calm fashion, taking that sublime tim curry-smile. -
Why isn't there any sense with donating money to artist you like? f.ex. you would like... Quirk (Mark Allen). You go buy his album from Ebay (I got his 1st one for 1 lousy dollar! bargain!). So basicly if you buy the album with few bucks, and you can donate let's say... 10 dollars? to the artist by paypal/cash letter/cheque... that'd leave you with a cd you basicly paid "full price", only that artist got most of the money! superb! Only reason now to hide behind your wishy washy "ethics" would simply be that you don't want to buy anything at all, you want it for free.

Radi, you can PM the mods (Mars) telling them you don't like Reger quoting you. I think that should take care of it alright. And music-wise, you want old music but don't want to buy it if you don't support the artist? Well, you can always buy something from ebay with low price and at the same time use some extra money and donate to artist. Perfectly working solution.

"just 5 could you find" well what do you expect? you wanted BOTH quality and quantity with from a small genre like this. If I'd have included 3cd sets the list would've gotten out of hands... Awesome thing from Rumour Records to compile such amount of ol' Phantasm goodness inside one compilation. ECT's and Moonweed & Squid's are the finest discoveries of old sound I've come up recently!

Guidance - The Earth doesn't ring a bell? well does dave young? or chi-a.d.? cause this track is phenomenal. it's more of hard trance tune but the lead melody is from outah space! -
I'll write my review here soon!

I went completely mental when I just for the first time heard his track "mr. jolly". what a talented composer! among the best this genre ever had. I read in discogs he was about to release an album in 1998, but it didn't happen. I'd appreciate if somebody could either: 1) send me those tracks if you have them 2) give the guy's email or something thank you.

heh I was about to post the same when I read Detox's post. I mean those gays have been around for so long! And another thing, people still love Texas Faggott's early material to death. You can easily their stuff is klääässik.

how's this for a record?

well not always. some artists just do it for fun. it allows them to express their mind and with good luck it might be something positive for others too. no one builds a LCD-screen only to express their minds. there's always some of that good old $$ involved, unlike music that CAN be made thinking about money, but it's not always so. I think music that is totally out of touch, e.g. unreleased material, should be shared. of course there's no absolute right views to this. frankly I think it's just stupid to see this dorky elitist attitude where people think it's their exclusive right to have some music. (Unless you're the artist of course!) I too suffered from this. When I a little kid and got new toys of course I wanted to show them to others, smell the envy, and enjoy the privilege I was having. It made me feel special about myself. Nowadays I'll share everything without questions! (everything= the non-buyable music) Music is an art to be enjoyed. note: even though I'm quoting ukiro it doesn't mean this opinion of mine is at all directed at him. only the first part to where I compare lcds and music.
