Shpongle - Tales Of The Inexpressible Artist: Shpongle Title: Tales Of The Inexpressible Label: Twisted Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 08'12" Dorset Perception 02. 08'23" Star Shpongled Banner 03. 08'32" A New Way To Say "Hooray" 04. 05'05" Room 23 05. 08'52" My Head Feels Like A Frisbee 06. 08'56" Shpongleyes 07. 07'30" Once Upon The Sea Of Blissful Awareness 08. 11'21" Around The World In A Tea Daze 09. 02'08" Flute Fruit Review: VERY GOOD !!! Even if not too psychedelic :-) Definitely very different from the first Shpongle album ! This one has many influences, from Spanish to Oriental ones .. very tribal too, with lots of good voices … Track 1 starts with a very spanish melody, then some tribal drums, a bass, a strange voice with an echo, another one, another one … soo many voices ! And this guitar, which disappeared for a while, comes again … then all stops … and starts again, with voices playing together … drums suddenly become twisted, then a deep spanish woman voice appears, with a lot of reverb, then it becomes stacatto, and an awesome guitar melody starts for 1 minute long … I let you discover the end of this Track (one of my favourites here) … Track 2 starts with a strange dark atmosphere, then a man voice appears and the beat, slow beat, starts with a bass and a piano melody appears, with a tribal drum and the Raja Ram flute … then all accelerates, a man voice sings, and a quick beat appears … then the second part is close to psytrance … the same man voice repeating, tribal rhythms accelerating … really good one too … Track 3 starts with strange noises, an indian voice screaming, a fly moving into your head, then a man voice describes what follows … very slow rhythm, a male indian voice screaming, female ones answering, twisted noises, slow flute melody, indian voices at the end … Track 4 is really not awesome for me … too experimental … few samples and a man voice (in german ?), indian female voices with a flute … but it's too short, slow and lacks of instruments according to me … Track 5 starts with a twisted voice saying the title of the Track, then a funny " Monkey-Island "-like melody starts … this Track is very happy and really good … at 3'45" all becomes very fast, brazilian influenced, with oriental voices … such a strange mixing of influences, which create such an atmosphere ! Really makes you shake your ears :-) This is pure genius ! A flute appears at 6'15" and all becomes a little slower, to make you breath before the fast end at 7'45" ! This Track really well suits its name :-) Then a slow twisted voices finishes the Track like it started … Track 6 starts slowly, with forest noises and "Gamma Goblins"-like voices … then a dark sample starts in background, and waterized samples are used all along the Track, with few voices … the beat is quite slow … nothing really special … Track 7 starts with a chinese influence, then a slow female voice singing continues the Track … a strange soft melody accompanies her … Track 8 starts more rock-influenced … and then becomes very oriental influenced (with opera voices) … actually this Track contains many very different parts (rock-influenced melodies, chinese-influenced melodies, classical-influenced melodies, psy-ambient samples, opera woman voices, middle-east man voices, piano, flute, violin, double-bass, spanish guitar … convinced ? ;-)) … like only Shpongle can build perfectly :-) One of the best ones here too (if not the best) :-) The more I listen to this album, the more I think Simon is not a human … unbelievable … if you don't like it, take more listens to it and then you'll understand, at least for Tracks 1,2,5 and 8 … Track 9 is too short to be considered as a real Track, but this flute finishes the whole album nicely :-) Overall a wonderful journey, as good as the first album , and much more various ! Anyway, there are less flutes in this one … Rating : 9/10 (because of Track 4) ! Will definitely buy it with closed eye(lid?)s as soon as it's released (in around 2 weeks) ;-)

Ra - To Sirius Artist: Ra Title: To Sirius Label: Global Trance Network Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 02'12" Prologue 02. 07'05" Astral Flight 03. 09'13" Universal Key 04. 07'28" Beyond Control 05. 07'46" Initiated 06. 08'23" Sign Of Life 07. 08'46" ROM 08. 07'45" Paradox 09. 06'49" Sirius 10. 04'38" Epilogue Review: VERY GOOD old-style Album from the Norwegian Christer Borge-Lunde (also a member of Electron Wave group with Charlie Clarke from Hunab Ku ... he also contributed to the Dimension 5 "Second Phaze" album) !!! Something between Etnica and MFG with influences from Muses Rapt, old Shakta and Astral Projection stuff , and indian influences particularly during the first Tracks ... all Tracks are mixed together, to make this album a whole trip :-) Track 1 is a little intro (a man voice saying "Rrraa !"), pretty good but too short Track to consider it as a Track in itself. Track 2 has some monks voices in background, with a quiet melody ... Track 3 starts more quietly, then a happy melody & snares appear, which makes a lot think to old Etnica style ... then other melodies appear and all becomes very trippy ! Track 4 starts quietly then quickly becomes very powerful ! A huge Track if you listen to it loud ! Then it becomes more quiet again, and a flute starts in background ... then you jump again while a woman slowly speaks and the melodies go crazy ! They are very staccato, in the typical old Etnica style, but with fresher sound IMHO ... maybe the best Track here. Track 5 has a more MFG influenced melody at the beginning ... no drums nor bass, only the melody ... then a drum breaks the whole thing and the bass appears ... few seconds later a very quick melody continues, then another one and the Track becomes more Etnica oriented ? however I think a drum sample here is too "quick" ... at 5'50" you can recognize a melody very similar to the one of "Shakta : Lepton Head Part 3". Track 6 is very fast and melodic too, but not that unforgettable ... lacks some breaks maybe, case you can't breath on it :-) Track 7 starts slowly, then an Etnica melody with a heavy bass ... but doesn't "really" start till 1'35" ... I love the bass sound of this Track ! The end is much more psychedelic, and melodies let more think to MFG ... really good work. Track 8 has heavy drums, claps, a man voice in background and uplifiting melodies too, but not that much at the beginning ... the end is much more melodic though. Track 9 is a chill-out one ... voices with echo, quiet melody in background, but I don't think it's a really good Track ... could have been better ... nothing really happens in it ... The outro Track 10 is quite tribal, indian oriented and very calm too ... but it's also a little too short to consider it as a Track in itself. To conclude I want to say that I didn't hear that kind of sound for ages, and that this album well shows that intelligent melodic style is NOT dead ! This album, for me, should have been released between 1996 & 1997, cause that's really the style of this period (with more modern sound of course) and I really like it ! The genius of this album is that all Tracks are very well combinated together ... at the beginning you sometimes don't notice when the Track changed, and that's VERY rare in psytrance ! But there is a slight flaw : most of the Tracks (3,4,5,6,7,8) here are very uplifting, which makes the album a little difficult to listen to in its entirety ... Anyway, if you love old-school trance YOU HAVE TO BUY IT ! Good Luck with your next albums RA ! This debut one is really O.U.T.S.T.A.N.D.I.N.G when you think it's a DEBUT one ! Rating : 8/10

Haltya - Forest Flavour Artist: Haltya Title: Forest Flavour Label: Exogenic Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 06'43" Facelift 02. 05'50" Groovymeisseli 03. 06'53" 1979 Flashdance 04. 06'10" Alas Taikavirtaa 05. 05'23" Red-Eye Jed-I 06. 01'03" 1100 ft/s 07. 07'22" Twisturbed Fok'n Manmal 08. 07'01" Tauno (Out Of Phase Edit) 09. 05'33" Dancing Into The Night 10. 06'21" WMCF (Feng Shui Arrangement) 11. 06'13" Happy Haltyan Harvest 12. 05'59" 5'55" Review: Quite good album ... actually a very psychedelic and crazy one (made by Pelinpala, Outolintu with some help from friends, like Loopus In Fabula) ... maybe I'm not completely prepared for the Finnish Exogenic crazyness (don't forget we're talking of an Exogenic release, one of the Faggots label, so don't expect "conventional" psytrance but a more crazy one, even if that's not from the Faggotts ;-)) I precise I just received this CD for free, and I really thank them for that (very nice package BTW !). Anyway, I always do objective reviews, so this one will remain objective too : First 2 Tracks are very groovy, really like them (seems they are Part 1 and 2 of a same Track), particularly Track 2 with such a nice bass & good melodies, but still in a good psychedelic way, NOT cheesy ! Track 3 is interesting, but not as good as the previous one. Track 4 is not that good IMHO ? in fact the sound is very "video-gamish" (I mean old video-games, like Zelda, Super Mario & things like that, that kind of sound) and I don't think it fits well in psytrance. Track 5 has a very stirring rhythm ? a more psychedelic Track, nearly not melodies here. Track 6 is a very short one, with very "tswing-zwingy" sounds ... too short to give an opinion ? that's more an intro to Track 7 than something else. Track 7 starts with a voluntarily staccato melody (following Track 6), and voices who seem to come from some tv ad ? very experimental too IMHO. Track 8 is very strange, seems there's a modified sample of a car engine starting up ... too technoish for me. Track 9 is certainly the most crazy one here : woman vocals very saccato too, with a funky style and many psychedelic effects. More conventional at the end, that I prefer to the beginning. Track 10 is more tribal, groovy and with a discrete beat. Track 11 is a very jazzy one ? funny to listen to this mix between jazz & psychedelia :-) vibraphone, claps, muffled light, cocktail, pool , beautiful girl in a red dress (the "Matrix" one ;-)) ? that kind of atmosphere, in a psychedelic style ... like it as I don't hate jazz and love psychedelia :-) Track 12 is very different, groovy, with many stereo effects ... quite psychedelic, but with no crazy sounds nor usual psytrance instruments ... fresh sounds to finish the travel into non-conventional psytrance. To conclude I can say that this is a very original style, didn't hear that before. Not bad sound, except maybe at the middle of the album, which is really too crazy for me. But the first and last Tracks are pretty cool, and Track 2 is a real masterpiece ! Rating : 6/10.

Alien Project - Midnight Sun Artist: Alien Project Title: Midnight Sun Label: Phonokol Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 07'20" Alien Project And Astrix : Midnight Sun 02. 07'15" Alien Project And Astrix : Magnetic 03. 08'29" Alien Project And Orion : Beat Static 04. 08'46" Alien Project : DNA (Rmx) 05. 08'40" Alien Project And Astrix : Electro 06. 06'07" Alien Project And Astrix : Have A Nice Day 07. 06'31" Alien Project And Earthling : Ghost 08. 07'21" Alien Project : Desert Incident 09. 08'39" Alien Project And Orion : The Alien Meeting Review: Pretty Good album ! This new Israeli group is really astonishing, and I think that's the first Israeli album with so much psychedelia (maybe with DNA : Virtual Jungle) ! This style is very close to the GMS one, with some Infected influences in the kick and some melodies. But it's much more GMS influenced than anything else. Track 1 (as most of the Tracks here) uses usual GMS effects, with few melodies and sometimes an Infected guitar and tribal sounds at the end of the Track, in background ... good one. Track 2 starts with vocals and is less melodic, more psychedelic ... maybe the bass should not have been that loud in this Track ... interesting, not unforgettable. Track 3 starts with a very good bass. Track 3 is quite monotonous, nothing special ?ETrack 4 is more powerful, certainly very good to dance on, but the bass is a little repetitive. Track 5 is more Space Cat influenced at the beginning, more GMS influenced at the middle, more Logic Bomb influenced at the end ?ETrack 6 starts with a heavy kick while a single note is repeated in background every 4 beats, then a more Space Cat sample appears, then new snares and a Logic Bomb influenced melody. Track 7 has more funky influences ?Eone of the best Tracks here in my opinion. Track 8 is pretty calm compared to the other Tracks of this album. Tribal drum at the beginning, soft melody then tribal drums again and the Track becomes more powerful. The bass of the last Track is a little repetitive, but the Track is still intereseting ... maybe it's not enough powerful though. Overall a very promising debut album from "Ari Linker", but some Tracks are a little repetitive here. I'm sure the next one will reach the grade of "Good Album", maybe more ;-) Rating : 6.5/10

Pretty Good ! A little better than « Stardiver » album :-) Tracks are less psychedelic than stardiver but still very psychedelic ? some Tracks are very original, like Track 6, which really well suits its name (like these tribal sounds, but the Track could have been better with more work around them) :-) My favourites are Tracks 8,10 (chill Track) And particularly Track 4, probably the Best Track from Electric Universe at the moment for me ! Tracks 3,5 (too rock-style) And 7 are a little boring, but other Tracks are interesting ! Rating : 6.5/10
-
This one is "just" as good as Mystery Of The Yeti 1, cause Tracks 1&4 aren't awesome compared to Mystery 1 Tracks 1&4 ... but Track 3 is GREAT, and Track 2 is THE BEST ambient Track I've ever heard till then !!! Track 3 is more psychedelic ambient (but still peaceful ambient), with very nice melodies and effects (some female vocals too) ... the best Total Eclipse ambient Track for sure ... Track 2 has some good vocals (some of them are very twisted ;-)) particularly during the intro, then the last half of the Track has a very good flute melody ... awesome stuff, even better than Shpongle Tracks ! You have to hear it to understand its magic :-) Rating : 8.5/10

V/A - Unidentified Forms Of Sound 1 Artist: Various Title: Unidentified Forms Of Sound 1 Label: BNE Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 09'32" Infected Mushroom : Montoya 02. 09'11" Tripster : Tango Electro (Space Cat Rmx) 03. 08'32" Clockwork : Unearthly Song 04. 09'51" Domestic : Genetic Wobble 05. 07'59" Paranoize : Monopolys 06. 10'32" Infected Mushroom : Devil (Final Mix) 07. 08'56" Space Cat : Kreak 08. 09'24" Infected Mushroom : Elm ... Review: Pretty good comp ? much more psychedelic than melodic ! I think Track 1 is not as good as the Montoya Remix version on " The Gathering " album, but it's not bad ! Just doesn't sound " Infected " enough ? Track 2 is a very psychedelic one, in which we feel the Space Cat touch ? more in the style of the 2nd Space Cat album than the first ? Track 3 isn't bad, but a little too monotonous ? a very psychedelic one too, as most of the Tracks on this comp ? Track 4 is pretty good, Track 5 pretty bad ? the drums sound too amateur ? Track 6 is quite good, but not awesome ? Track 7 is by far the best Track here ? finally Track 8 is as good as Track 1 I think ? so there's not really good Tracks here, except Track 7 ? and only one quite Bad Track : Track 5 ? Rating : 5.5/10
-
What can I say ? This album (yes that's more an album than a compilation for me) is a piece of art ! Track 1 is probably the less good here, but still interesting ? Track 4 is pretty good too, but Tracks 2&3 (which can be listened to as a whole, for me both Tracks are a single one) are WONDERFUL !!!!!! 2 PURE chill-out Tracks ! These Tracks are P.E.R.F.E.C.T !!! I was SURE Simon And Total Eclipse would create a fantastic sound mixing ? sometimes I dream that Simon becomes part of Total Eclipse in an ambient side-project :-) Rating : 8.5/10
-
Pretty Good Album ! I don't think there's any Bad Track here ? all Tracks are well built, even if I have only 2 favourites : Tracks 6&9? difficult to describe the style, as I don't know any similar Israeli style ? that's a more European than Israelian style ? in fact it really doesn't sound israeli at all ? heavy bass And drums with few melodies (but not israeli melodies ), vocal effects And funky sounds here And there ? Rating : 6.5/10
-
Average Album ? in fact Tracks 1& particularly 2 are interesting, other Tracks are very average ? repetitive And not enough melodies ? the work in drums And bass is most of the time really good, but that?s not enough to make a good Track ? there?s much better Electric Universe stuff than this ? Rating : 4/10
-
Pretty Good Album ! My favourites are Tracks 1,10 And particularly 3,9 ! The problem is that some Tracks here are a little boring (Tracks 4,5,7,8&11) ? this album is probably the most psychedelic one from Electric Universe ? and the 2nd best album, at this date, from Boris after "Blue Planet" ? Rating : 6/10
-
Good Album ! Ok that sounds very israeli, but we can't say all the melodies here are cheese ! Yahel is talented, you can't say he's an Eyal Barkan-like ! But his sound is very particular ? you either love it or hate it ? The 2 best Yahel Tracks are on this album : Tracks 2&8 ? they're, according to me, far better than the rest of the album ? All Tracks are typical " For The People " Tracks ? I don't think there's any Bad Track but we can't say all these Tracks are unforgettable (Track 4 is very close to cheese for me), except Tracks 2&8 ? Track 9 is pretty good too ? in conclusion, buy it if you liked his first album, don't buy it if you didn't like his first album, cause this album is EXACTLY the same style as " For The People " ? however this album is slightly better than For The People cause there's 2 great Tracks on it, Tracks 2&8, whereas there was only 1 great Track on " For The People " (Track 1), and Tracks here are generally better than the ones in " For The People " ? Track 10 is too short for me ? Rating : 7/10
-
Hum ? Average album (I precise I don?t have the first Galaxy album, so I?m discovering the style) ? it should be a peaceful album, but I think the samples used, drums And some melodies are too agressive ? Track 4, much more psychedelic than 3 first Tracks, is pretty cool ? Track 5 is interesting too ? a good psychedelic Track with peaceful melodies ? maybe the best here with Track 4 ? Track 6 is sometimes psychedelic, sometimes more peaceful ? pretty interesting Track ? Track 9 is more Blue Planet Corporation oriented in some of its sounds ? but not peaceful enough to make you relax ? Track 10 is much too short ? other Tracks not mentionned are reallynot outstanding in my opinion ? in conclusion we don?t know what?s the aim of this album : make you relax or make you dance ? Really don?t know ? too psychedelic to make you relax, not enough psychedelic to make you dane ? sounds professional, but I don?t think I?ll listen to it often in the future ? I was waiting for more from a Boris Blenn album ? Rating : 4.5/10

Pretty Good ! The typical kind of album which grows on you ! More " Bible Of Dreams " oriented than " Beyond The Infinite " oriented IMHO ? As I don't like Juno Reactor that much (check the ratings I've put to their other albums), you can imagine how good it can be for someone who LOVES Juno style ? for me there's no doubt : this album is THEIR BEST ONE ! Tracks are very well built And completely keep the Juno music style through the whole album ? Track 1 starts with a very spanish guitar melody And psychedelic sounds around, whereas a typical western-sounding gun can be heard in background, And spanish vocals at the end ? one of the bests here ? Track 2 is much too short for me, sorry ? tribal vocals And sounds ? reminds me Conga Fury a lot ! Track 3 is a deeper Track ? a repetitive background with many Juno effects around it ? don't like it that much in fact ? Track 4 uses a very dark vocal at the beginning ? then strange " grasshopper-snares " appear and last till the end of the Track ? not an unforgettable Track ? Track 5 is the more psychedelic here, with woman vocals And sthing between rock And tribal drums ? pretty good Track ! Track 6 And 7 are very different : Track 6 slows down the previous one ? some chinese And more tribal sounds here and there while most of the samples sound like if you were in a pipe that someone knocks from outside ? pretty good Track too ? the last 2 minutes are very quiet And beautiful ! Track 7 starts even more quietly, then echo sounds appear And the Track becomes more rhythmic ? still tribal sounds with a repetitive 3-notes slow melody giving a strange atmosphere to the Track ? pretty good, but I prefer Track 6 to this one ? Then a VERY SHPONGLEY Track appears ! If you listened to this Track without knowing from where it's taken you would say that's SHPONGLE ! All sounds here remind you Shpongle album ? very peaceful Track (even more quiet than Shpongle ones ? how can it be possible ? ;-)) , the more peaceful of the album ? " waterized " samples with a flute melody ? a good ambient Track, but very similar to Shpongle stuff ? Track 9 is more ambient too, but less peaceful than the previous one And more Juno-oriented? many different vocals in background ? a really good Track too ! Perfect to conclude this album ! When you stop listening to this Track you're falling from a cloud And want to climb over it again by listening to the album again ;-) To conclude I would say that, except Track 1, Tracks are better And better along the album ? Tracks 2,3&4 aren't outsanding, but other Tracks are really interesting, particularly Tracks 1,8&9 ! An album melting Juno usual style, from " Beyond The Infinite " psychedelic style on Track 5 to " Bible Of Dreams " more quiet style, with a beautiful ambient Juno style on last Track And a more expermiental Juno Track 1, with spanish guitars And vocals ? check my other Juno albums ratings before reading the one I give to this album ? Rating : 6.5/10

Pretty Good Album ! Let's forget Track 1, much too short to be good, and with much too vocals And dreamy sounds ? Track 2 (as nearly the whole album) is PURE X-Dream style, with fresher sounds ! I would say that's a new X-Dream Track if I didn't know it's from Future Prophecy ! Regular rhythm And basses, with some dreamy samples appearing regularly in the Track ? Really good one ? maybe the best here ! Track 3 is also X-Dream style ? good, but not as good as the previous one ? an X-Dream construction with influences from Infected Mushroom in the snares ? but lacks a " peak " in its construction in my opinion ? Track 4 still is X-Dream style with an Infected heavy kickdrum (used in many Tracks here), but I find it a little too repetitive ? sounds of Track 5 (still very similar to X-Dream stuff) all have an echo applied on them ? that gives the Track a really good atmosphere ? but the bassline is too repetitive for me ? Track 6 has more Infected sounds ? I would say Mushies drums, bass And snares and X-Dream melodies And atmosphere effects ? however I think this Track is too Infected-oriented ? Infected style doesn't suit very well with X-Dream one ? Track 7 also seems to be made by X-Dream ? pretty good one, but little repetitive too, but you'll like it if you like X-Dream, cause X-Dream Tracks are voluntarily often repetitive ? Track 8 is more israeli, but not cheesy ? I don't like the main vocal sample on it that much ? seems not to belong to psytrance ? Track 9 has an israeli melody, but it suits well with the rest of the Track, sounds absolutely not cheesy for me ? it's not X-Dream style, but it's a good Track ? so my favourites here are Tracks 2,5 &9 I don't like Tracks 1,6&8 that much ? To conclude, I would say people who love X-Dream And are waiting for a new X-Dream album to buy this one, cause that's very similar to X-Dream sound (more " We Created Our Own Happiness " than " Radio " style however), and really well done (the problem is that Future Prophecy seem to hesitate between pure X-Dream stuff And israeli-oriented one, with Infected influences, so this album isn't completely X-Dream) ! An album perfect to listen to while working for example ? Keep on doing this Future Prophecy ! Maybe they are just imitating X-Dream, but they are imitating them very well and I think we should not minimize their work because of that ? before someone shouts at my rating I precise that I ONLY LIKE (not love) X-Dream style and ask them to take a look at the ratings I gave to the 3 X-Dream albums before ? so here it is : Rating : 6.5/10

Good Album ! Don't understand what's so bad with this album ? that's not "Beam Me Up", that's simply different ! Like we can't compare "Classical Mushroom" And "The Gathering", we can't compare this album and his previous one ? the style is different ? personally I also like this style ? OK the sound quality of some Tracks is really not great when you listen to this album with headphones (like the beginning of Track 2 ... ARRRGHHH) ? BUT most the Tracks here are pretty good ! Mind Shocker well suits its name for me And I also like Tracks 1,3,5&8 (I'm sure Tracks 1&4 are PERFECT for dancing ? we really recognize Riktam's touch in Track 1) ? NO Track 8 doesn't sound cheesy (don't understand this new fashion people seem to have saying all new Israeli stuff is cheesy stuff) ! This album is a 90% Avi only album, his previous one was a work with different artists on nearly ALL the Tracks ! That's why this album Tracks are similar And sound different compared to the ones of "Beam Me Up" ! Rating : 7/10

V/A - Psychoactive Scandosounds 2 Artist: Various Title: Psychoactive Scandosounds 2 Label: BooM! Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 09'34" Battle Of The Future Buddhas : Noisy Matter 02. 09'18" LAB : Trippin Trolls 03. 08'05" Subcouds : Happy Motors Swinging 04. 07'19" Battle Of The Future Buddhas : Adrenachrome 05. 07'52" Logic Bomb : Melogic 06. 09'26" Hux Flux : Logarhythmic 07. 09'40" Vibrasphere : Roadtrain (Battlemix) 08. 09'15" Fluffy Puppy : Superclay 09. 06'50" Twister : Venom Review: Pretty Good comp ! A VERY psychedelic one (except Track 9, more melodic), in the usual BOTFB And Hux Flux/Logic Bomb style ! Even Subcouds Track is very psychedelic And not that much melodic ! Usually I don't like when there aren't many melodies, but these Tracks are really well built ! My favourites are Tracks 1,2,5,6&9 but I don't like Tracks 4&7 that much ... To conclude, I'd like to say that if you like Hux Flux / BOTFB style you should NOT hesitate to buy this comp (cause I didn't really like BOTFB And Hux Flux albums but the Tracks I mentionned are much better stuff for me ... however I'm not very fond of the Scandinavian style), but if you don't know them you should listen to the comp before buying it ... Rating : 6/10

This is the FIRST compilation which gave me the impression I was listening to an ALBUM ! Indeed there's no Bad Track (hum maybe Track 3) and all have a quite similar style, close to the one of " Total Eclipse : Violent Relaxation : CD 2 " ! I think it well shows the QUALITY of this comp ... absolutely NOT minimal trance like other current TIP comps ! THANKS T.I.P, I think this is the BEST comp you have ever released ! My favourites are Tracks 2,4,5,6,7,9 (best ones are Tracks 7 & 4 : have you ever listened to a psychedelic " Secret Of Monkey Island " music style ? That's very crazy on Track 4 ;-)) Rating : 7/10
-
Good Album ! But the last part isn?t as good as the first one ... Tracks 8&9 are quite Bad (Track 8 is too short) ... my favourite here is Track 3, but Tracks 1,2,4&5 are also pretty good ! Rating : 6.5/10
-
Good Album, but I have to admit that Freak51 is true : the bassline is too a dance-like one, which is sometimes irritating in some Tracks ... anyway all Tracks are listenable ... Best Track for me are Tracks 3 And by far Track 4, very similar to " Universal State Of Mind : All Because Of You (Mindsweeper Mix) " Track on Goa Head 2 ... Rating : 6.5/10

I don't think there's any Bad Track in both CDs, and my favourites seem to be CD1 Tracks 1,2,5 And CD2 Tracks 3,4,5,6,8 ! The melodies in this album are really well thought And the quality is here :-) Rating : 8/10 (because there is 2 CDs)

Interesting CD, but the "worst" one from X-Dream in my opinion ... Best Tracks here are Tracks 1,5 And particularly 8 ... I don't like Track 4 (too short) ... Rating : 5.5/10
