Some people are stupid ... really makes us sad when we see that ... but the current system can't permit us to administrate reviews easily (as each page is a static .html page and there is more than 1000 like this) ... the future version of the site will permit it, but there will be a lot of work to do, as there are certainly more than 30.000 reviews already written in this section.

Last chance to propose some :-) Any other ideas ? Current results are 1/3 for "The Psychedelic Circus" (could make a nice cover IMHO), 1/3 for "Psynesthetic Vibrations" and 1/3 don't like any of them. But please hurry up to give your ideas here cause I think we'll choose the final name within this week :-)

The name has to be decided quickly, I asked Valerio his opinion in a list of 5 I had chosen between all read in the forum posts, and we didn't decide between these 2. I think the name has to be defined quickly, as no-one can work on an appropriate cover design without the title. That's why I decided to make a pre-selection and asked Valerio his preferences in it :-)

Inpsyde Media is the only label currently involved in this project. However, any label can contact me at children01@free.fr in case of he is interested in releasing one of the tracks of this contest, I'll then forward him the E-Mail of its author after having discussed about that with Inpsyde.

Yes there are :-) Around 50-60 I would say, be patient, some of them are really nice :-)

I have more than 50 tracks to add again to the list, and we receive around 5 new tracks per day ... just imagine what you would do if each author mailed you to ask "could you say me why my track is still not added ? I sent it 2-3 days ago" and also receive mails from other parts of the site (reviews, parties to add, links, new track contest infos, photos, TOP 10s & so on) and then personal mails ... I can't answer to all these things, really sorry (would take me all the night). We don't post tracks so fast as I first have to download them on Mars server (I have ADSL, which is not very fast), listen to them to be sure there's no problem with the track (bad bitrate, not complete etc), then try to find Aquagena on ICQ (he's not online 24/24, of course, that's not his job ;-)) , send him the tracks, waiting him for uploading these tracks from his server to the contest server, then update the list on the contest section & check if all links work. Of course you can mail me if I didn't add your track after March 31, cause I can forget to add some (we received more than 200, that's very hard to be sure we didn't forget any of them), but please don't mail me about that before the next update ;-) Thx.

Of course but then reviews related to other reviews would have no sense if the order of appearance is not the same as the order of postings ... that's the problem and this one is extremely difficult to manage (no way else than administrating all reviews by reading them & eventually edit them)

Ooops sorry : I think we don't need it, as I thin the music making section is "on-topic" for that gear stuff :-) Yes the hardware section thing could be interesting, (what new stuff was released & so on) but as "Psy Lolipop" said I think some sites already do it very well and that represents a lot of work ... moreover we would then need someone who knows all that is going to be released to make such a section ... About the equipment used by artists, indeed that's a very good idea, we'll think about it in the 2nd version of the site. We'll also try to put artists & labels E-Mails on this same site (only in case of they agree that we put it online) & things like that ... to summarize : the artists infos section will be much more complete as we know lots of visitors visit it (that's the 3rd most visited section of the site after forum then reviews)

Well I really don't think it will become commercial in the "MTV" sense, but for sure therea re more & more parties & new artists / labels. Anyway, the music itself is much too "strange" to be mainstreamed, and the drugs thing around it (as well as labels / groups names related to drugs) will preserve it to go mainstream. So I think it will be more & more known, but I really don't think it will die as lots of commercial styles did ... will evolve for sure (diversify I think & become more dancefloor oriented, it already started last year after the 1999-2000 very minimal period particularly in comps), but the main characteristics typical to psytrance will remain ... maybe the overall production won't be as good along the years, but I'm sure most of it will still be nice and not censored by a big label asking for "what people want to hear" instead of "what you want people to hear". The global current music certainly evolved due to "commercial" demands anyway, becoming much more dancefloor oriented, probably to make more people come in parties (For example : most of 3D Vision stuff). The parties spirit might change a lot and become more "drug-oriented" than "music-oriented" in few years anyway ... depends on the country where you live as it has been mentioned. I think there are less people going to parties who really know the psytrance scene (I mean albums/compils/EPs etc) than before ... more & more bad guys come to these parties, Mars could say it as well, he has been stolen some personal things few months ago, and that didn't happen to him before, which well shows things change a bit ... in France at least.
