    Hey this tutorial seamed interested, so i checked and there is the guy from the project Ironhide behind it ! And that explains it. Ironhide produced on of the best tracks in 2015 called "Hypnotize" and it was simply great ! However, you can make the bass down effect but sliding from +1 octave and downwards. For example you press G5 and then after a second (or less) you press G4 with the glide or slide (whatever your vst has) effect turned on.
