  1. Free-Spirit Records is all set to rock the dancefloor this summer with the release of their second compilation 'Eupsychia', guaranteed to make serious waves across the indoor and festival circuit !! VA - Free-Spirit Vol.2 'Eupsychia' Release date: June 22nd 2007 "Eupsychia", Free-Spirit's latest and perhaps greatest compilation thus far, is an avid, invigorating collection of trance masterpieces ranging in moods from the uplifting morning to full-on, sinister tech-trance composed by some of the hottest existing and highly anticipated upcoming trance minds out there today. From musical and mastering geniuses Aphid Moon and Tron to the highly watched and anticipated Journey project, the music this label has to offer grabs you by the seat of your pants and forces you to wiggle, even when you thought you didn't have a wiggle left in you! Grab a copy of "Eupsychia" today and see for yourself.... buckle up for a wild ride through the spectrum of the psychedelic trance wonderland! Free-Spirit burst headlong upon the global trance scene with their maiden compilation, "Brahamaputra" in October 2006, even attracting the attention of artists like previous voted #4 in DJ Mags TOP 100 DJs, Christopher Lawrence, who already is rocking Free-Spirit tracks on his own compilation releases. Although still in the label's infancy, the lineup of artists on this smashing compilation speaks for itself... and now, bringing you Free-Spirit's sequel compilation to "Brahamaputra", “Eupsychia”, as well as M-Klome's astounding first solo album release, and in the not too distant future, a debut rocker by Journey (aka Jay OM) himself. This label and these artists work hard to bring you albums that are guaranteed to stay fresh over many rotations and mixsets. Free-Spirit has a lot on their platter in the next few months... turn on and tune in now to their upcoming fresher-than fresh trance sounds! CLICK BELOW FOR SOUND SAMPLES 1. M-Theory – Whisper 2. Tron – Help Is On The Way 3. Kalimamboh - E-Motion 4. Dizzy Mind - In A Dreamlike State 5. Aphid Moon - Doofer 6. Journey - Experantia 7. Star~Trip - Crouch End 8. M-Klome - Mr. Bellboy 9. Sinewave - Vibrations TRACK BY TRACK: M-Theory – Whisper Inducting this stellar comp by Free-Spirit is one of the UK label's finest artists, M-Theory... This one is a gritty, gnashing rocker with grinding bass from below and modulated filter sweeps layered from above. The percussion is meticulously arranged and saturated with effects while the synths add tension and take it away, adding dissonance and texture to this minimal morning track, one that is sure to set your head afloat. Tron – Help Is On The Way Mexican trance artist Tron has been getting quite a lot of world recognition for his uniquely abstract style, and well deserved... His new tune is a showcase display of arrangement and mastering expertise. Heavy on springy, bouncy synth blurps and jazzy pads, Tron bounces you along on gliding bass waves and enthuses your neurons with random voice sampling... prepare yourself for a metamorphosis of music... Tron's music never leaves you in the same place you started. Kalimamboh - E-Motion Coming at you full-on and high in energy, Kalimamboh delivers an up-tempo dancefloor packer rife with springy synth oscillations. The build-ups are marvellous and the bass adjusts itself furiously in keeping with the tension. Not a moment is wasted as the soundscape is overrun with acid leads and a nice changeup featuring resonant melodies fit for trance-addled minds everywhere. This one is an instant hit. Dizzy Mind - In A Dreamlike State Taking a decidedly different approach from this track's predecessor, Dizzy Mind composes us a groovy four-on-the-floor foot grinder. Richly filtered and delayed leads dot the soundscape atop a punchy, pulsating bassline. A definite buildup track from beginning to end, "In a Dreamlike State" piles on the acid rhythms and layers, keeping the mood on the up-and-up... overall a supremely well arranged piece with the right sounds in all the right places. Aphid Moon - Doofer Psy-trance veteran Aphid Moon should need no introduction, and "Doofer" lives up to his well-established reputation. Greeted by a thick, meaty bassline and vox pads from the psychedelic side of the Ganges, "Dofeer" is a slightly sinister, haunting piece born to be heard underneath a starry sky. This one amps up the energy from the get go and doesn't let up.... these waves are high-octane nectar for your trance dancing spirit. Journey - Experantia Journey, the trance project of Free-Spirit's founder, Jay OM, is a fusion of styles... glitch, breaksy percussion collides with highly filtered insectile sweeps and evolving rhythms with more layers than a wedding cake. Expect a wide variety of moods as things start off happy before taking off into the synthosphere, growing darker, with a multitude of bass riffs which lay the groundwork for one of the most twisted pieces on this whole compilation. Star~Trip - Crouch End Star~Trip, a collaboration of Jay OM (Journey) and Evil Twins continues the trend towards musical malevolence with a night time rocker which will get your feet moving and the hair standing up on your neck! Shadowy synths sounds squirt serotonin on the synapses, but just when you thought things were getting scary, a subtle rearrangement of chords turns this piece imperceptibly into a light-within-the-darkness scene... a great transitory track which takes you to places unexpected. M-Klome - Mr. Bellboy M-Klome, although one of the newer artists to break into the world circuit, is already indelibly leaving his musical mark with tracks on several different comp all having received high acclaim. "Mr. Bellboy" takes a slight deviation from his usual morning sound for a style more full-on yet no less jazzy. The percussion is heavily ethnic and organic and exceedingly enjoyable throughout, fitting the synths dissonance perfectly. Sinewave - Vibrations Sinewave, A&R of Alchemy Records, has already made a name for himself, and ends this second stellar comp by Free Spirit with a bang. "Vibrations" is a full-on morning rocker with distorted metal guitar for the head bangers and twangy bell effects for the electro heads. The build-up is suspenseful and right on the money, exploding into a high-energy beat heavy on the modulated acid wave layers. This piece ends this comp leaving you begging for an encore. We are also looking for quality promoters and production crews worldwide to host Free-Spirit CD Release Parties. We can also offer a Free Spirit Records Label party. You will be hearing this album many times over at parties and clubs around the world soon; Azax built these tracks strong and perfectly compatible with nighttime full-on or darkpsy insanity ! Read an interview with Regev on DoofCentral click here Click for Samples 1. Warewolf 2. The Policy 3. World of Illusion 4. Existence 5. Rain V2 6. Downstairs Remix 7. Flawless Victory 8. Simulated Disorder 9. Cognitive Incident Track by Track: "Warewolf" A great winter stomper of a maiden track. Clubby pads and a dissonant filtered low rhythm are catchy and will cut a groove through a dancefloor. The acidic melody riffs hearken back to Indian beaches ten years ago... superb panning effects and a breakdown of breakdowns add depth and dimension to this full-moon space-age track. "The Policy" Coming at you like an uppercut, this piece is a touch more sinister than its predecessor. A groovy bassline trucks along burning diesel while jagged sound waves etch acidic tunes across your inner ear. Azax piles on the energy and top it off with funky tribalism! Expect plenty of malevolent tension and release with crunchy lo-fi goodness. "World Of Illusion" Azax and Evo kick this one off with a funky punchiness... nicely filtered percussion and sinister stabs paint pictures of dancescapes on the edge of madness. Gothic heavy metal influences and subtle synth squelches will arrest your attention and move your extremities on their own. Cleanly produced and high on the energy level, this is a nighttime full-on hit. "Existence" If you ever wanted to turn your dancefloor into an arena, here are your instructions... this is a rocking piece which will fire a nostalgic chord amongst many of us. Tearful belltones and full-on, in-your-face synth work keeps the intensity high. Expect no mercy from Azax here... this recipe comes with heavy dosages of neural adrenaline. "Rain V2 " This thrashing Slayer remix is an instant classic! Azax has really outdone himself on this one... finally, a remix that's built to last on the playlists. You've never heard this favorite classic like this... chopped up into bits and whipped into a meaty psy-trance souffle. Track Five is a true buttrock headbanger's delight from start to finish. "Downstair Rmx" Breaking in with a big-beat rock drum solo and pitch-shifting synth tweaks, this track tunes your brain's radio station to the correct frequency before launching funky psy riffs at you. Things get really down and dirty with the bass. This track is for those who like spontaneity in their trance, and this piece really comes along full circle. "Flawless Victory" Organic and alien, Track Seven's riffs are low and mean... you can practically taste the acid flying from these flung-about sound waves. A nice long transitional breakdown takes you on quite an adventure... and spits you back on your feet reeling! Just when you think you don't have a wiggle left, this one gives you that jolt of energy your body just can't say no to. "Simulated Disorder" Chunky slabs of bass lay the groundwork for sixteenth-note rhythms which boil up to the surface like nocturnal beasts of prey. The dark soundscape this piece paints for the ear turns any night into Halloween. Pure full-on goodness from the shadowy side of psy-trance are to be expected, delivered full-on from every direction. "Cognitive Incident" The soundtrack of another world... the outro track to this amazing full-on album is a nonstop trip to galaxies unknown. Each and every breakdown is a work of art and the basslines and percussion morphs at all the right times. If evil and melodic could be used in a track description together, this would be the one. Transmissions through the void and inimical riffs hallmark this ninth piece. Liquid's already impressive discography stands testament to the hard work, heart and enthusiasm that this crew puts into their creations... and the end result is phenomenal! So do yourself a favour and check this collection out; "Divine Inventions" by the UK's Liquid Records is slated to be the first big hit of 2007. CLICK BELOW FOR SOUND SAMPLES 1. Tron - Amasonic 2. Mr. Peculiar - Alternative Portal 3. Telepathik - Anomaly 4. Mood Deluxe - Stealthy Fungus 5. Sketchy Pimps - The Hund 6. Fractal Glider - Snaggle Tooth 7. Beatnik - Worldly Transformations 8. Flip Flop - Evangeline 9. Fromem Ory - Backwoods Track by Track Tron - "Amazonic" This sensational Mexican trance artist has already established his signature organic-abstract style on previous compilations and a hit album released last year. This latest creation isn't lacking in the slightest and this is by far his best work to date! Tron does a great job with extra squishy noise effects, sample splicing, killer bass lines which morph multiple times within the space provided... "Amazonic" is a musical psychotropic story unfolding from start to finish. Mr. Peculiar - "Alternative Portal" Australia's Mr. Peculiar should need no introduction, having been a part of the global circuit for 15 years and releasing tracks on many of the biggest labels during that time, and sensation albums, you can rightfully expect 'Alternative Portal' to be a stomper, and it is! From the lows to the highs, this track is mean and packed with dark thrashing floor filling energy. Hard-hitting and relentless, Mr. Peculiar delivers a psy trance track with serious attitude. Telepathik - "Anomaly" Already an international hit with his down tempo project 'Phutureprimitive' here we are also treated to more brilliance. Sinister and abstract, but delicate and melodic Telepathik, whose debut album is soon to be released on Liquid, has assembles a sexy, airy track with plenty of hard-edged bump and grind and just the right amount of unearthly melody. The intro and breakdown are creepy-crawly, with a nice moody build-up from beginning to end. A brilliant piece of music from beginning to end. Mood Deluxe - "Stealthy Fungus" Mood Deluxe treats us to a funky but aggressive, in-your-face style of psy trance... This British break beat psy-trance artist throws the sounds at you with the intensity of a heated racquetball match! Having successfully released an album acclaimed for its innovation, Mood Deluxe keeps our mood up and drops one on us that will be pushing vibes on dancefloors across the globe this upcoming year. Sketchy Pimps - "The Hund" New collaboration project from Henry Seligman (Kamoflage/Dragonfly) and Chris (Flip Flop) and here sits the crunchy centre-piece to the album. Full twisted break downs and build-ups and a dance floor wonder. These guys prefer bass with malediction and malevolence, with inimically alien bleeps and bloops and mind-tearing audio synth rips which titillate the synapses and get the juices flowing. 'The Hund' makes perfect sense although follows no straight path through this enchanted psytrance wilderness. Fractal Glider - "Snaggletooth" Fractal Glider, a long-time veteran trance producer, returns with a cleanly produced, highly musical psy-trance piece that spans the musical scale. High-energy and very, very psychoactive, Fractal confuses the senses with alternating bouts of tear-shedding epic atmospheres and frighteningly insectoid dissonance stitched together by a hammering, contorted bassline which practically condemns you for not moving your body to its time. Beatnik "Worldly Transformations" Young Beatnik has been making waves in the last 18months with a superb debut release on Nano Records and more in the pipeline. Already touring the world submitting his morning full on psy funk to the masses this new comer is something special. 'Worldly Transformations' is the latest offering of musical genius composed with delicate brilliance over the top of a smashing bassline and hard thumping kick, a synergy of both the beauty and the beast. Flip Flop - "Evangeline" Having been hits in the UK for some time and playing it up on the brazilian trance tour circuit, Flip Flop practically came out of nowhere and became hits on two continents in an eyeblink. "Evangeline" represents their ethnic morning sound superbly, fusing elements spanning ancient Asian musical sounds with today's modern Western pop culture. Hearty slices of funk and groove, tripped-out vocalizations with sprinkles of melody set. Flip Flop are certainly one of the most sort after artists of the now and this tracks explains why. Fromem Ory - "Backwoods" Canada-born Fromem Ory is one of Liquids' newer artists, yet has already confirmed his amazing penchant for groovy morning trance in the studio and the global festival circuit. "Backwoods" is an excellent soothing finale to this intense compilation, a true musical analogy to the deep relaxing breathing after the hour-long audio orgasm which is "Divine Inventions". These pads are ethereal and angelic as summer cirrus clouds, while the bassline and leads provide just the right amount of current to keep you moving! Bliss with a hiss. 6. Neurobiotic Records are back with a storming release from one of the masters of trance with 10 new tracks including some collaborations with some of the scenes top acts. Joti Sidhu - New Sensations CD Release Date: 16th February 2007 With the recent burgeoning explosion of new psy-trance music across the globe, long-time connoiseurs of trance music have a lot of "fluff" to wade through to find the real quality music... these people need look no further than the latest album of creations by Jodi Sidhu, aptly entitled "New Sensations". For the last decade, Joti has been making his mark and building himself up a reputation for nothing but top-notch, masterfully produced rocking psy-trance grooves released on some of the most influential world labels out there. Drawing from a wealth of experience from working with artists such as Juno Reactor, Spacecat, Simon Posford and others, and playing to crowds from Mount Fuji to the burning Nevada deserts, Joti has demonstrated that he knows how to please a crowd! "Burning Sensations is more than just ten track of generic psy-trance... from the album's getgo it's evident that Joti's music is a cut above the rest Ten ultra-funkdafied, meticulously produced musical pieces featuring the meatiest, punchiest basslines and some of the most intense tweaks and squelches to be heard in today's trance music seem to stick in you like a fishhook and don't let go, tugging you along a mad tea ride and inspiring your body to keep wiggling just when you thought there wasn't a wiggle left in you! Not for the indoor, not for the outdoor, and containing plaenty of moods for both settings, Joti Sidhu's autumn release "New Sensations" is guaranteed to remain fresh in your playlist no matter the upcoming season. If you haven't heard about the things Joti Sidhu can do to a dancefloor, come out from the rock you've been living under and give "New Sensations" a listen... and prepare never to be able to hear psy-trance music the same way again. Click for Samples 1. Audio Chemistry (Joti Sidhu vs Hallucinogen) - Long Long Arms (Joti Sidhu Remix) 2. White On Ice 3. Do This 4. Not Crazy (vs Dj Mack) 5. Versace on Acid 6. Metaphysical 7. New Sensations Remix 8. Trance Posers (Joti Sidhu vs Riktam from GMS) - Trance Pose 9. Live Fast, Die Young (Shanti Remix) 10. Joti Sidhu vs Dj Edoardo - Chaotic Biotic (PTX Remix) Track by Track: Audio Chemistry (Joti Sidhu vs Hallucinogen) - Long Long Arms (Joti Sidhu Remix) Long Long Arms, the intro track to Joti Sidhu's new album makes no bones about ramping up the vibe from the get-go, and with the legendary Simon Posford in the mix its no wonder... a hard-hitting bassline punctuates sliced vocals and thick trance leads, and an epic, mind-warping breakdown makes for some great tension-and-release action. White On Ice White On Ice comes in darker and sinister! Picking up the vibe where the first track left over, the listener is greeted with a funky bass riff and some cutting-edge squelchwork making for a catchy and corrosive acid trance track. Joti really turns up the electro groove midway through... This is a great all around winter dancefloor stomper. Do This Kicking off on the minimalist tip with layers being applies gradually along the way, Do This builds up to be a mad-housey clubland psytrance piece from crisp sixteenth-note basstones to the retro rhythms and brass hits. This track has all the flavor of a 70's disco lovechild fathered by twisted psytrance musical genius. Not Crazy (vs Dj Mack) Joti definitely gets spooky on us with Not Crazy... the notes are plump and meaty with industrial-ish percusssive arrangements and bass that sounds like it's ground out of a motorcycle engine! Heavy on extended, intricate padwork and filters, this track is a bit more atmospheric and progressize... with plenty of a darker edge. Versace On Acid This track two distinct halves... the first half conveying an air of pulsating spaciousness, the second being more melodic and communicative. Joti does a great job with the sweeping notes; the melody is not overworked as is common with so many other psytrance tracks nowadays, and the bassline evolves nicely with the track to boot. Metaphysical It's hard to say which parts of Metaphysical are most enjoyable; the ever-changing, orbiting background effects, the intricate shuffling of the percussion, or the anthemic buildups which seem to blossom forth... Joti does an excellent job on his filters and sweeps in all layers... this track will doubtless get some serious play this winter. New Sensations Remix Starting perhaps heavier on the melodic-morning tip than the rest of the album, this remix of the title track delivers no less richly! Bits of sinsiter audio malevolency clash with and prevail over the earlier elements of light to give the feeling that the night isn't over... yet ! Trance Posers (Joti Sidhu vs Riktam from GMS) - Trance Pose Trance Pose takes you on a cacophanic roller coaster ride of a trance track for sure! From downbeat to melody, themyriad layers ride the crest of resonant filters, growling rhythm riffs, and shifting pitch scales, flipping itself over and reinventing itself constantly. This track could be beard a thousand times and still keep its freshness. Bonus Tracks: Live Fast, Die Young (Shanti Remix) Live Fast Die Young has a completely different flavor... heavily infused with alien tribal elements and organic sounding jungle night noises, this track is feral and was born to be heard outdoors! Transitioning nicely between tense, complex musical moments to airy, floating pads and back... this one grabs you and doesn't want to let go. Joti Sidhu vs Dj Edoardo - Chaotic Biotic (PTX Remix) Closing out this amazing album by Joti Sidhu, Chaotic Biotic is a peak-hours slammer... tweaked out buildups and breakdowns make for orgasmic moments of dancefloor revelry! Joti reaches abck to the sounds of the old school for some truly acid-drenched psy-trance melody. Plug this midway into your set and watch the dust clouds rise Exclusive worldwide distribution through Arabesque | www.arabesque.co.uk | mark.bedford@arab.co.uk | Related Links Joti Sihdu | www.jotisidhu.com | Neurobiotic Records | www.neurobiotic.com | Triskele Management | www.triskelemanagement.com |
  7. VA - Hardfloor CD Release Date: 26th January 2007 After nearly a year spent in the recording studio, the French trance label 3D Vision is ready to explode back onto the worldwide psy-trance universe with its latest compilation, "Hardfloor"! Featuring nine tracks by both new and veteran artists and collaborations, Hardfloor contains a little bit for everyone, from full-on, face-melting dark psy to second-wind inspiring morning peak tracks, "Hardfloor" delivers the goods with a knowing wink and a smile. You can't go wrong when artists like Absolum and CPU have their say in the tracklisting, and high expectations are met with flair and vigor in this innovatively heart-pounding label venture. Not to mention 3D Vision's newer talent, such as Azax Syndrome, whose debut album is slated for release shortly, and Concept, who is destined to become a household name in the trance world, these names are to be taken seriously; judging from these tracks, there is worlds worth of potential in these artists. So strap on your seatbelts and space helmets... “Hardfloor" is a sure-fire dust kicker set to take you on a nonstop trip to the Crab Nebula. Click for Samples 1. Mad Netic - The Other side 2. Azax Syndrome vs Tube - My November 3. Absolum - Astral Body Surfing 4. Painkiller - Hard Floor 5. CPU vs Bliss - Sucsexful 6. Sirius Isness vs Painkiller - LFO by Nature 7. Painkiller vs Menog - Meditative State 8. Outer Signal - Groove Control 9. Concept - Entering The Dawn Track by Track: Mad Netic - "The Other Side" With an intro packed with more sounds than what is heard in entire tracks by other artists, "The Other Side" starts things off on the darker side... at times soaring through space with scorching acid leads and others submerging into the depths of eloquently filtered sound, this track delivers high-voltage madness rife with tension-twisting breakdowns and plenty of lasers and phasers. Azax Syndrom vs. Tube - "My November" 3D Vision and Chemical Crew bump noggins to bring forth a musical piece with plenty of funk and a sci-fi/horror feel! Combinations of ominous padwork and tweaked out acid stabs make for a perfect backdrop for outdoor full-moon revelry. Bassline change-ups and melodies ensure this track will never grow dull no matter how much play it gets... which will certainly be a lot. Absolum - "Astral Body Surfing v.02" By now Absolum should need no introduction, and his contribution to 3D Vision's latest trance comp does not disappoint. These sounds seem to implode and release their energy with the force of a supernova... well-defined bass, background vocal wailing and a dissonant breakdown will keep you wired and on your toes and peeking for monsters over your shoulder. Painkiller - "Hard Floor" The title track for this darkly hard-hitting comp enters innocuously at first, but by the first minute, only the comatose won't be bobbing their heads to this one. Meaty bass punches and pitchy percussion keep things funky and pulsating... utterly perfect for stomping footprints into a dancefloor. "Hard Floor" has great flow and keeps the energy rolling relentlessly. CPU vs. Bliss - "Sucsexful" These two trance masters use the blues creatively to bring soul into this trance piece from the get go. The first half is low, menacing, and slinky... and, like a beast of prey, springs forth predatoriously, the sounds jumping right into your face. The gentle harmonic blues elements and the nasty funkiness of the rhythm filters contrast nicely and hybridize into a full-on stomper by the track's end. Sirius Isness vs. Painkiller - "LFO By Nature" These two veteran trance acts collaborate to bring this compilation a molten hot full-on dance motivator with slight hints of morning air. The leads are corrosive and searing while the bass accompaniment seems made of evil-infused silly putty; viscous and pliable and to its fullest in this masterful track. No safe places to hide in this track; it makes you your slave and compels you to dance. Painkiller vs. Menog - "Meditative State" Contrasting to the rest of this album, "State" starts off peacefully tugging you along a smooth ride of bass and foggily harmonic pads. With a cacophany of tweaked out noises to keep your ears busy, these two spice things up with a handful of bassline rearrangements and thickly resonant trance leads. As the name implies, this track is an easy one to get lost in... close your eyes and let your body do the work! Outer Signal - "Groove Control" Wow, what a funky bassline! Outer Signal's track stand out amongst the others with its rich breakbeat bass textures and ethereal, wind-tunnel pads. "Groove Control" offers plenty of room to move, and, while on the minimal tip, the sounds are masterfully synthesized and meticulously placed to make for a solid wind-up track that stays fresh and is born to be heard under starry night skies. Concept - "Entering The Dawn" Don't let the name of this track fool you... "Entering The Dawn" by promising French artist Concept is at times full-on and at others malevolently atmospheric. Echoing rhythms and leads make this track a great one for the outdoors. Evocative, epiphany inspiring trance music here; Concept's "Dawn" is an altered-state inducer from start to finish. We can surely expect great things from this fledgling trance artist. 8. M Field - Current of Life Release date: January, 2007 PsyBooty Records of San Francisco has been sculpting the face of the American progressive psy scene recently, and its latest release by one of their foremost artist projects, M-Field, pushes even their envelope. "Current of Life", M-Field's latest collection of funky four on the floor grooves, draws from all flavors of house, trance, and tribal world beats and will be sure to heat the senses of beat enthusiasts from clubland dancefloors and outdoor massives to home stereo systems and headphones alike this winter. The artists of M-Field put a lot of emotional and intellectual involvement into their sounds, and have been tearing it up at parties and studios from one coast to the other, and "Current of Life" is the apotheosis of their collective experiences. M-Field's and PsyBooty's album is a must listen... fresh, raw, and emotive, "Current of Life" is an electro-spiritual treat not to be passed up ! Click for Samples 1. Foundation 2. Current Of Life 3. Progressive Evolution 4. Morphotronic 5. Punctuated Equilibrium 6. Conceptual Thought 7. Unified Theory 8. World Soul 9. Memory Traces Track by Track: Foundation Jay and Rob open up their album with an eight-minute laid back breakbeat session. Highlighting sultry, filtered electro bass-tones and groovy, intricate percussion work, "Foundation" is very immersive... Melodies flit about and disappear when needed, and no sound goes undone. A great intro track to what lies ahead in the M-Field idiom! Current of Life The title track of this album is aptly named... it indeed has a motion and flow of its own. The thick, organic bass-line pulses and plays at your brainwaves, with plenty of lonely, eerie UFO-landing sounds to set your mind afloat. Feral, alien sounding and very highly danceable, this is the sort of progressive music not to be confined indoors. Progressive Evolution A funky bass and subtle phasings within the ever-evolving percussion signify the meat of this third track. Between the pleasing background congas and the building synth rhythms, the whole arrangement feels abstract and tribal. There's some great slicing work in the dissonant background static, but when the melodies start falling on your ears like waterdrops, things really get sensual and flavourful! Morphotronic "Morphotronic" starts off slightly more up-tempo and a shade darker than the pieces before. Saturated with drum sounds of the world, both ancient and modern, with a hint of industrial for flavour, M-Field raises the level with this one! Much like the rest of this album, the sounds are clean, squishy, and live sounding, an audio entity attempting to communicate. Punctuated Equilibrium Following the trend of "Morphotronic", the fifth track of the CD comes at you faster and more menacing. Warped percussion practically bounces around your head and the bass is crouched low and growling. The primitive sounds at the beginning seem to refine themselves as the track goes on, gaining culture and a "disco" character, with some especially interesting percussion and synth swirlings towards the end! Conceptual Thought This piece comes at you from the musical midsection, but before too long, Jay and Rob throw in a nicely thumping kick-drum to help your feet get going. The rhythms descend like a musical staircase and the great tension-and release moments and unexpected changes really build up the energy in a way that so many progressive psy tracks nowadays are simply lack luster at. Unified Theory M-Field supplies just what this album needed to continually and perpetually raise the vibe! Neatly acidic with some greatly placed stabs and harmonies, these two make this track deliver! Great for elevating those outdoor full-moon sets, along with the others, "Unified Theory" is best heard outside. Depth and atmosphere pervade this piece of music and guarantee a smoothly musical ride. World Soul Now that M-Field has you hanging in the outer reaches of musical orbit, "World Soul" drifts into play... the airy pads sweep around you like cirrus clouds while the bassbeat forumulates leisurely to carry you on its current. This piece seems to specialize in sounds which are easy on your ears, and other senses. Appropriately placed near the end of the tracklist, "World Soul" winds you down nicely! Memory Traces At once a great lead out track to what has been a fantastic saga of a trance music soundscape, "Memory Traces" leaves you with a chunky trip-hop breakbeat to enjoy... sinister bass hollow vox pads and psychedelic acid squelches and computery bleeps and bloops are masterfully placed and simply sound great. This is a downtempo track that is different in all the right ways and offers the truest peek at the musical potential of the two artists of M-Field! Reviews: "After two solid compilations, of which the second – ServeEm2wice – received notably good reviews from the media, San Francisco based label, Psybooty, release their first artist album in the form of M-Field. With several solo and collaborative projects under their belt M-Field serve up a slab of 9 groovy, percussive laden compositions. Kicking off things is Foundation a teasing break-beat openener that swirls around not quite getting out of the starting blocks and could easily be the closer to the album or a party. What follows is eight 4 to floor 4 phat progressive tunes laden with swirling synths, groovy melodies and that spongy production style that seems to be Psybooty records signature. Far from simple, Current of Life is an intricate collage of melodies and counter-melodies that build and build in a most hypnotic way offering the listener a cohesiveness package of tunes ranging from 130 to 136 bpm. Overall it’s an album that is well produced and is quite mellow and deep. It’s not always that dance friendly but certainly great for home listening and would suit a more chilled out dance-floor or for tired legs deep into a festival. Fans of Psybooty Records will not be disappointed as this seems a natural progression from their two compilations. M-field certainly have their own sound choosing not to ride the electro bandwagon nor the traditional proggy style that is currently quite popular......" 9. D-Tek - Broken Disk CD D-TEK’s back with his unique style of almighty rolling bass-lines, high-‘tek’ sounds, and his audio engineering and production, all included in his new album BROKEN DISK. OUT NOW ! There has been no shortage of world-reaching events, vibes, and new music coming out of Mexico this summer, and if all that weren't enough, Maia Records puts out yet another epic release, "Broken Disk" by none other than D-Tek. Currently surfing the forefront of the rapidly evolving Mexican trance scene, Maia has been churning out stellar release after stellar release, and Mexican native D-Tek's latest collection of psy-trance symphonies is assured to be no disappointment to the list. Fashionably late to all the great sounds pouring out of the country this summer, "Broken Disk" will undoubtedly be one of the more distinguished and remembered. The summer's not over yet, Planet Earth, for D-Tek's latest album of ensembles is just the thing to keep you heated, pumped, and ready to dance! D-Tek, whose everyday name is David Durst, is a Mexico City native. Having started DJing in 1987, in less than a decade he has built himself up to be one of the leading and most pioneering artists shaping the Mexican trance scene today. By the turn of the millenium, D-Tek was releasing tracks on all the major world psy-trance labels from Tip to Transient to Shiva Space Japan. His first album, "Earth Technologies", exploded onto the world and instantly became a top choice for trance conoisseurs and DJs all over the globe. Since then, David's live act has performed, and is scheduled to perform, all over Mexico and elsewhere in the globe from Japan to Brazil to the US and Canada as well as all over eastern and western Europe, not to mention his highly popular DJ sets. His performances and discography cross ties with all the greatest artists of recent years: Alien Project, Hux Flux, Sesto Sento, GMS, and so many more... In short, David Durst AKA D-Tek has established a reputation as an extraordinary producer and performer across the globe, and one can rest assured to expect nothing but some of the highest quality, top-notch heart pounding psytrance from his newest release, "Broken Disk"! Codes Track by Track: Intro Naked, atonal synth drones settle into the audiosphere with the grace and ease of a futuristic transport vessel. Slipping the mind out of its everyday state and into an ethereal zone, the intro to "Broken Disk" readies and foreshadows well an upcoming, untold hour-long psy-trance saga! Reflections The closing track in D-Tek's latest generation of musical creations is, if anything, gritty... and with bass as funky and pulsing as this, it just doesn't go wrong. The leads are detailed, abstract, and meticulously done, each sound placement obviously carefully considered. By the end, all the elements are slamming and warping enough to keep your body wiggles going beyond your mind's expectations! World of Ilusions Introducing itself with a heavily filtered bassline and insectile chirpings traveling to and fro, "World of Ilitions" is at first a sort of larval metamorphosis translated to sound... and what bursts forth is a cacophany of sickly malevolent psytrance guaranteed to put even the most stoic into motion. Masterfully placed synths along with a great, scale-jumping filtered bass create an environment fit for any outdoor dancefloor! Always Choose Redial Banal reality turned surreal and pulsating, staccato bass lay the foundations for this track. "Redial" seems to rise up from below like a slow-motion uppercut, picking up enough audio velocity along the way to keep the astronauts satisfied with the view! A dynamic and original breakbeat keeps things fresh and splits this track into distinct, segmented "feels", each one with their own vibrant musical energy. Broken Disk This is the track the album is named after, and the tone of this track defines the whole album. This track is a piece of full-on psy-trance stomping madness! All the great elements are here... pitch-jumping bass, filtered psychedelic melodies which seem to travel about the track, and sweeping, echoed pads which seem to blossom from and return to nothingness. "Broken Disk" is masterfully engineered to be an assured hit, no matter how it's cut! Axtek At times minimal and others disco-psy, Axtek is a unique amalgamation of beat timing experimentations, jumpy, bumpy bassbeats on the threes and fours and squelchy acid squirts. The melodies are funky and happy, and the ebb and flow of noises and sounds build up tension, mitigated by synth-sweeping breakdowns at the end of the measures. Pure head-nodding four-on-the-floor goodness! The Cave Coming at you hard, pounding and relentless, don't let the first few moments fool you... the chilled, quasi-Gothic synthwork at the beginning is but an illusion for the monstrous bulldozer of a bassline that shows its true colors before long. Electropiano chords, echoing melodies, dribblings which hop about the background, synthesized trance brass and hard housey horns make this a great high-energy track fitting for indoor cave scenes or out. Apple Talk (Live Mix) D-Tek's live remix of "Apple Talk" presents itself on a slightly more elevated plane than its predecessors on this album, and the sound range from ultra techy to darkly inimical. Serrated, corrosive synth edges punctuate the audio atmosphere and build up tension before an impressive breakdown... D-Tek really mixes up his sounds here, and the resulting rearragenement returns chaos to the dancefloor... hope you stopped to catch your breath! All Systems Go D-Tek's "All Systems Go" kicks off this next set of tracks with a bang... at once high-energy, trancey, yet sinister and dissonant; a sort of "James Bond on acid" feel. For the old-schoolers, there are plenty of lasers and phasers, low-fi squelching voices and retro-delic synth stabs ready to bounce around your noggin. The bassline is as mountianous as an amusement park ride, all driven in sync to a relentless drum beat and intricate percussion fills. Codes "Codes" is a track with a decidedly darker turn. The punchy, growmling bass provides an undertow for panned metallic crashes lending feelings of spaciousness and speed. D-Tek throws some very original sounds into this mix, and his audio permutations are saturated with filters and effects. Nothing but red-eyed audio enjoyment here... D-Tek will leave you with your head above the clouds! Although still in it infancy, the lineup of artists on this smashing compilation speaks for itself... veterans and new talent alike from Polaris to X-Control, who need no introduction, for their impressive discographies are known and sought after across the planet, to Tron, Ultravoice and M-Theory, whose releases all hit high on the charts this year, "Brahamaputra" brings together trance sounds from all over the globe under one roof. There are flavours here for everyone to enjoy... full-on, morning, minimal and techy, there are more varieties here to choose from than a whole fleet of ice cream trucks! This label and these artists worked hard to bring you an album that is guaranteed to stay fresh over many rotations and mixsets. Check out "Brahamaputra" now; it's a surefire must-have for any DJ and enthusiast seeking to enhance their trance music collections! Free-Spirit Records is the result of the ideas and effort of Jay OM. Since the late '80's, Jay spent years djing/promoting at some of the biggest clubs and trance festivals in London, the UK, and the rest of Europe. In 2004, he concieved the vision of a network of like-minded artists in the psy-trance and ambient genres, all working to promote themselves and each other under one banner. Thus the Free-Spirit label was born... originally intended to focus on artist management, the label's skyrocketing success combined with the enthusiasm of Jay, the artists, and fans enabled Free-Spirit to outgrow its horizons. Free-Spirit continues to build a collective of artists and djs from the UK, Europe and worldwide, aiming to create and provide access to a combined set of resources not available to them as individuals, making it just a little easier for all to concentrate on what they truly love, which is the music! Each track with enough quality, as a self-contained piece of music, to stand-alone, put them together and Brahmaputra becomes a killer without remorse. Consider yourself warned. M-Klome - Bad Chemistry TRACK BY TRACK: Polaris - Energy This track kicks off the pace of this compilation nice and fast... heavy on the panned pads and a diversity of synth stabs at just the right places give "Energy" depth and character. Polaris will have the room hopping with this one within the first few moments. "Energy" is an uplifting clubland neo-classic! X Control (Perplex project with DJ Kido) - Dragonfly These two Israeli trance masters bump heads to bring us a menacing, unabated full-on blaster! Flanged acid hits and insectoid drones lay over a rocky, punchy bassline. This track builds up nice and steady, with some great tension-and-release along the way. Masterful drum segments as well, with some malevolent goodness towards the end! Journey feat. Stellato - Spotless Mind The father of fledgling "Free-Spirit" and compiler of this smashing maiden album, Jay OM, or Journey, pairs up with veteran Max Stellato to deliver a chillingly beautiful piece. Not a musical moment is wasted here, and "Spotless Mind" begs from the onset to be played and heard outdoors. Somewhere between full-on and morning, your senses will be tickled with this one regardless! Ultravoice vs. Tactic Mind - Mind Control Vol. 2 These two artists get right down to the nitty-gritty with this piece. With a bassline rockier than the Himalayas and neurotoxic synth squelches which seem to invade your brain, "Mind Control" is a true headbanger of a track... Don't get too settled in, though... there are more than a handful of eerie twists and changes to keep you on your toes! Tron - Evolution Revolution Liquid Recs' Tron made global trance scene headlines with his recent debut album, "Existence", and his latest track highlights his abstract, viscous music style superbly. Expect the unexpected with "Evolution Revolution"... impossible soundscapes and expert beat and note rearrangements keep the music mutating with an supremely organic quality! Project FM - Kickwave Project FM's track contributes an airy, atmospheric, relaxing vibe with a decidedly psytrance setting. Techy rhythms spiral about the soundscape and sound layers fade in and build up the mood with a certain subtle grace. A gorgeously exaggerated breakdown make this piece a great tension-builder for evolving mixsets! M-theory - Unrestored This London duo kick it off hard and low with a chunky outdoor thriller meant to incite dancespace dust storms! Techy and robotic with some great buildups and breakdowns, "Unrestored" flips itself inside and out and back again, with added vigor... those who crave variety and spontaneity in their music should definitely give this one a listen! Star Trip - Dollar The intro here is deceiving... "Dollar" launches you suddenly into a sixteenth-bassnote stomper deeply rooted in Journey's psychedelic guitar rock influences. Elements of classic club sounds, hard rock, and cutting edge, acid saturated psytrance are all rolled into one hell of an audio energy drink! Bring a parachute and get ready for these waves to lift your mind into orbit and back. M-Klome - Bad Chemistry The finale to this smashing compilation is proof that this label doesn't slack off at the end... plenty of alien alarms, lasers and phasers, and random whooshings accompany a meaty bassline without a hint of monotony from measure to measure. The sound layers seem to compress for a moment... before exploding forcefully and getting you breathlessly to your feet again! After a bit of socialising it was kip down time ready for an early start on the Trance stage, my set was due to go out at 1.30pm. However, it rained hard practacally all day friday do the trance was called off. Mischief was provided by anyone and everyone and the day passed off with much hilarity especially 'The Wonky Gentlemans club'. I did like the Jeremy Beadle joke, but it was the Henry's superman joke that had me in stiches. Saturday kicked off with Edoardo doing a minimal electro set which was blinding followed by the uber-talent of Grant Collins (Darshan - Excession) fuckin blinding mate !!!! The other acts I saw in Staurday were in the form of BeatNik fully sik intro to this set !! well twisted. then Tron, LiquidRoss and Dick Trevor, but by this time the liquid was fully kicking in and I felt like I needed to explore my mind so I went off wandering around the site for a few hours finally crashing out in my tent about 6am. I woke up to find everyone in the ID Spiral mini-dome.... SPANKED wasnt the word. So a day chilling out with progressive from the Domo guys Nadi & Huda G blaring from the rig was just what was needed. Later on Sunday the Tom Lurk, Aurora, and Morph took to the stage to bring the entertainment whilst most people were making sure the girl with the 6 foot tall bottle of N2O wasnt going home with it even half empty. Overall a great time was had by us all and Id definitly go back next year to support the young NI scene. Great friendly (ex IRA) security, beautiful location, great hospitallity thanks to Gemma and Charlie, and great food. As all first time festivals, there is lots to sort out and lots of work in the organising, but its a learning curve and next years will be really something to look forward to. 15. Organic Records announces the second release on the newly launched ORGANIC CHILL with its first of many debut artist albums. Perpetual Loop - Universal Flow Release date: 10th July 2006 As with Organic's earlier groundwork albums, Perpetual Loop can be expected to lead you on a mystifying musical journey through the psyche aboard a vehicle of some of the most chilled out world beats and magic carpets of synth atmospheres. "Universal Flow" definitely fits that bill, and immersed within this amazing album are virtual teleportation devices to other places and times, some real, yet at the same time, wholly unimagined... until now. Charles Massey's musical expertise has led to a solid album and has helped him forge his own signature style and take on downtempo chillout electronica with just this one debut album. The pianowork and strings ensembles alone make these tracks a must-listen, but combined with lovingly twisted synths and digital sounds and beats hearkening from nearly forgotten corners of the world makes it even better. "Universal Flow" is distinctly a step away from the cookie-cutter dubtronica downtempo heard so much these days... be sure to check this out while it out while it's at its freshest! Leave your preconceptions at the door and let the Flow grab hold of you! CLICK BELOW FOR SOUND SAMPLES 1. Psyabi 2. Ilitqusia Agvigum 3. Eastern Sunbreak 4. Universal Flow 5. Inbetween Space 6. Be Happy 7. Indifferent World 8. Moment Of Clarity 9. Spirit 10. To The Voices In My Head A Bit about the artist: Perpetual Loop is Charles Massey who is based in Manchester (UK). Classically trained on both the cello and piano, he combines the smoothness of that genre with the harder edge of electronic music, creating his own organic style, embracing computer technology to create Balearic sounds, Tribal beats and Symphonic arrangements. Charles has been writing and producing music for the last fifteen years. In 1995 he set up a night in Liverpool, England, delivering slamming sets of house to progressive to trance music, occasionally taking to the decks himself. In 1999 he moved down to London, where he concentrated on his own organic music that is relaxing to the mind and soul as well as evolving enough to take the listener on a journey. His atmospheric music blends very well with his other love of film; creating soundscapes that compliment visual images. In 2004, having previously worked on numerous media projects and independent films, Charles had his debut release as Perpetual Loop on Rumour Records’ “Gateway To The Sun”, along-side Michael Dog, Eat Static, Ganja Beats and Chris Organic. In November of the same year Perpetual Loop released two tracks on Organic Records’ compilation Psymeditation (ORGCD008) which became an instant hit, and has recently had two further tracks released on the follow-up to that CD, Psymeditation 2 (ORGCHILL001). He also releases material under the name of Grebeau. “Universal Flow” is Perpetual Loop’s debut album, and has been much anticipated in the world of psychedelic/ambient/chill. We hope you enjoy it. Noodream is the chilled project by Darren Evans, manager of Dragonfly Records in their heyday. Working as an engineer in a South London studio, Darren has teamed up with some reknown Indian Musicians and raised his production skills many notches to provide Organic with this very special treat. Organic Substance is Chris Organics chill moniker and you can rest assured you will hear more coming from him in the future. His first chill release “Tribal Faith” has been released on several comps, and here he uses his reknown recording skills to give us a deep, solid groove overlaid with lush dreamscape sounds, plus sweet melodies and guitars from collaborator Pale Moon Rising. Slackbaba is the work of Brighton-based producer Jonathan Smith. A familiar name at parties in London and around the UK, his music is at the forefront of the new wave of British psychedelic artists. His skills of sound manipulation and organic instrumentation present a new take on psychedelic electronica, combining quality production and skillful musicianship with an ability to cross genres tastefully. Jonny's debut album 'and the beat goes om', will be released on Liquid Records in May '06. Nagual Sound Experiment (NSE) is the dub project of Brighton based electronica and roots producer DJ Cameron Leonard-Schroff aka psybreaks pioneer Mood Deluxe. After spending five years working as a music technology teacher at LACS and ICM and as a freelance engineer and programmer within the Los Angeles music industry, Cameron returns to the UK to begin his career as a recording artist with Liquid Records. 2006 will see the release of both the debut Mood Deluxe and NSE. His Sound Design has been used in commercials, film and multimedia gaming including credits from Discovery Channel, SciFi Channel, Disney, Inside Cinema, Nike and numerous indie films. In addition to their collaborative studio tracks with Ramsay, Steve, Ryo and Colin all write solo music under the UC banner. 'A New Way of Thinking' is Colin's experiment into the alternative composition techniques offered by an early beta version of AudioMulch, a modular composition and sound design environment developed by the Australian Ross Bencina http://www.audiomulch.com. It was then mixed in Cubase where extra parts were also added, including the haunting piano melody at the end, which was recorded in one take." Lemon Tree are a proudly British band; Paul Bacon was once part of a punk outfit featured on the John Peel show, now teamed up with Little River's recording engineer/ flamenco guitarist Mark Kingsley as atmospheric chill band Lemon Tree. They have released previously on Chris Organic's compilations on both Rumour Music and the first Psymeditation, a track on there so legendary it has had them as one of the most requested live chill bands on the festival circuit, including Sonica in Italy. Ganja Beats is the dub offshoot of one of chill-out music’s crowned Princes, producer/artist/musician Jake Stephenson, also once known as Shamanic Tribes on Acid, one of the original uk psychedelic trance bands, also as Alien Mutation, Crystal Moon and Dr Psychedelic. His debut album ‘Ganja Beats’ released last year is still steadily selling copies today! Jake was involved in the psychedelic scene from the mid/late 80's primarily in the psych rock band paperhouse who were well known for their electrifying gigs. Jake has released on many trance compilations and labels such as Kinetix, Waveform, and previously on Organics Psymeditation and the limited edition Tsunami Benefit CD. 17. Righto folks, none of you should need to be told that Organic Records has a monster release out this month, the follow up to last year's massively popular chill-out release Psymeditation... Psymeditation 2 has been launched under Organic's new dedicated uber-chill label, Organic Chill, and to celebrate we've dropped the prices on our online shop in utter summer madness style. the new prices are: £7.50 for UK buyers, including post+packing £9.50 = €13 = $18 to anywhere else in the world, including post/packing/shipping Some of the older CDs have been dropped even lower than that, check out the shop page for info http://www.organicrecords.net/pages/index-4.html Just to remind those of you with flaky memories, the lineup on Psymeditation 2 goes like this: 1. Perpetual Loop (who will have an awesome album out this summer on Organic chill) 2. Noodreem (feature heavily on the UK party circuit) 3. Organic Substance (Chris Organic's new chill, man band) 4. Slack Baba (monster rising star of the UK scene) 5. Nagual Sound Experiment (killer US psy-breaks band) 6. Perpetual Loop (again, we can't get enough of him!) 7. Unconscious Collective (OOOD's chill outfit) 8. Lemon Tree (hugely requested after debut on Psymeditation 1) 9. Ganja Beats (the last ever release from our sadly departed friend) plus a hidden bonus track.... argh! shouldn't have told you about this... never mind You can pay on the site by paypal or if you don't have access to a credit/debit card, email us for the address to pay by cheque.
  18. For those of you who would like to help us reduce the amount of oil-intensive resources used up by the music industry, we would like to announce that you can now buy ultra-cheap mp3 downloads direct from our website digishop http://www.organicrecords.net/pages/digishop.html This means you can store your favourite Organic tracks on your computers or mp3 players and save us having to package them up in nasty plastic cases. (*) Prices start at: 74p = €1.09 = $1.40 per track and get cheaper the more you buy £5.99 = €8.99 = $11 for whole albums All our music has been encoded on ultra-hi quality encoders plus there's loads of extra info, bonus tracks and hi-res artwork available. Its very easy to sign up and you can pay by credit/debit card or paypal... saving even more atoms! Yay! Also look out for Organic Records on psymp3.com, audiojelly.com, and probably any other digital download site you can think of... iTunes, napster etc in the near future (*) for those of you wondering why we use plastic cases and not card (digipacks) ones, it goes like this: Plastic cases are cheap. Paper ones are expensive, in fact about 4 times the price of plastic ones. You lot don't buy enough of our CDs to justify selling them in paper cases, in fact we've lost money lately when we've done that. So, the consumer decides. At least by buying direct from our digishop you can remove the whole problem from the equation
  19. We would like to inform you that we will have some of the top acts from Mexico in Europe this summer to play some of the hottest festivals, and are looking for quality promoters and organizations to host them in their country. Now would be a good time to take advantage of having great international artists for a fraction of the flight price. ECLIPTIC (Maia Records, Mexico) With a strong debut release on Maia Records in November of last year, Ecliptic have been playing around the world and are fast becoming a common name in the trance scene. After spending part of the summer in the UK and Europe last year, they are back again and will keep the floor grooving with their unique style of funky full-on. Ecliptic also have a downtempo project called Lunar Sound and are playing chill sets as well. I’m hard-pressed to name a 2005 fullon CD that’s as tight and dynamic as this...Think cliché-free trance with thundering bottomends, flickering sounds across the top, with bags of attitude all wrapped up in this nonchalant, effortless approach to the music. Psyreviews.com 9/10 Think super-groovy full-on, kids. Enough psychedelia for the discerning Trancer, while maintaining a playfulness and groove for those who don’t really care and just want to groove out to good music that makes them move their hips. David Justin / Psybooty Records For soundsamples of Ecliptic ‘A Fissure In Silence and more about the boys check out: www.triskelemanagement.com TRON (Liquid Records, Mexico) Tron came out strong this year with full length release on Liquid Records called 'Existence'. He has been spending his summers abroad the past 2 yrs playing most every weekend throughout the UK, and into Europe. His powerful yet melodic sets have made him a favorite for midday and nighttime sets, as he plays a range of music to suit the mood. His music is highly requested and he is set to appear on many comps this year. When you’re sucked into the soul of this music, you really get the impression that the tracks have been “given life to” rather than “produced” ... An uncommonly good album, with more multidimensional depth and soul than you ever dreamed possible. Trance for grownups. Psyreviews.com 10/10 The first feel-good album of 2006! Yeah, it's been a while since I last heard such a versatile neo full-on album as the debut from Tron… Forget about boring, formulated full-on – this album has been spiked with a heave dose of Mexican mescaline and it's pouring out the speakers from start to finish… Versatility is the keyword here – it's a lot of fun, and we all know that fun rules! Brilliant album! DeathPosture More on Tron, including soundsamples and clips of his new tunes follow this link: www.triskelemanagement.com ARTURO (Maia Records, Mexico) As label to manager of Maia Records, DJ ARTURO has gained recognition and become known for his high-quality releases on a world-wide level. Arturo has also had his hand in throwing some of the best parties and festivals Mexico has come to be known for, especially with his Time & Space Festivals. He has been DJing around the globe for 10 years now in places such as Japan, Israel, UK, Turkey, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Costa Rica. His dynamic style of mixing keeps the dancefloors stomping, and is anything but standard. Hes known for his more groovy and funky full-on and can play any time of day or night. 22. Absolutely no need for me to reply to anything else other than this one ..... EVERY single cent made from this will be going to the appeal. Everything has been donated from the tracks to the commission free distribution. The only cost we have to cover before we reach profit will be cost of materials /manufacturing /printing.. after that it will all go ! Please do not think for a minute we are makign a cent off this. For the rest of you , we are sorry we cannot please you , but we cant please everyone.. please just be supportive..
  23. For a little bit of clarity and infrmation..... I am terribly sorry some of you fel jilted by the tracklist, or because your track did not make it. For that we are truly sorry !! For the amount of time and all the legal malarky that went along with this CD ( and believe me these are NOT excuses) this is an amazing release. No I do not personally liek some of the artists either... you CANNOT please everyone, but if you all know what the team working on this had to deal with, youd be suprised we got this far!! This has NOTHING to do with making a name for Organic... as a matter of fact we have acknowledged on the site all the other labels/people that were involved to make this possible.... NOT JUST US! *****This project is being created in collaboration with the following labels and companies involved in the scene : Mesmobeat, A-wave records, BNE, Hom Mega, Tip, Phantasm, Alchemy, Hom Mega, Spiral Trax, Nano, Revolve Magazine, Chaishop, Mushroom Media, Dtect Magazine, Spun Records, Spliff Music, Turbo Trance, Dragonfly, Jumping & Pumping, Psyreviews, Triskele Management, Square Peg, Twisted Records, Interchil, Ultimae, Antiworld, Metropolis, and Arabesque. Core Team & Major contributors: Chris Organic, Carlo Rossi. Andrew Humphries, Nigel (Revolve), Jake Stephenson, and Pan (Etnicanet). ***** The ONLY reason Organic name is on it is because that is what label it happens to be coming out on. We are making NO money from this, and as a matter of fact several of the people involved are losing money ( if you can call it that.. it will end up with charity in the end and that is GREAT!). As for the money actually going to charity.... most likely about 10-11gbp or abouts ( considering it was purchased for 15). Arabesque are distrbuting it commission free. All the costs of manufacturing and flyers/posters will come out but thats it. For Gods sake guys, cant you just let it be a benefit and not have all the bitching?? No matter what CD would have come out, some people would complain and we cant control that. We are comfortable with the product we have put out, and more than pleased with the prospective amounts of money we will be able to donate. Do you think the ppl in the Indian Ocean are complaining we did not put a better tracklist to send them more money? I have no more to say but I just hope those of you with a heart will at least quit griping and just see it as a good thing in the end. Just to see how in this SHORT time the scene has pulled together is unbeleivable... please let it rest xoxoxo Robin
