Hi Cybernenika, The idea is nice, but it lacks variation The beats get boring after the first 2 minutes Have a listen to some of the psy/break tracks from Eat Static, maybe they can give you some ideas for variation on the tracks Otherwise, as I said, it is a good ground idea

On a serious note though, this is about the 5th thread that talks about favorite Shpongle tracks, hence my reaction. I like the first album the best, but I am really tired of it as well. All the tracks on the first album are my favs, and the other ones just sound OK to me.

Radi, its very easy. Those are the rules, just stick by them, accept them, or if you dont like them, go to KVR and post your mountains/whatever.

but but but.... even if they make such a diffrent album such as science of the gods, they still sound like eat static... they have this sound, that you cant miss. its fresh, its new, its innovative, but it has a trademark.... People are talking about PsyBreaks.... well, they would have made a great psybreak band if they were just consistant... but they are not... and I love it

No, what I mean, is that you can not "like" eat static... they are not a group that you kind of just listen to, because they sound a little bit nice. What I am trying to say, its a love or hate band... I have so many friends that totally love Eat Static, but on the other hand, I have a lot of other friends that really hate them. I mean like this, Bob Dylan makes nice music.... plain, good lyrics, some tracks are better than the others, and so on.... Eat Static has a unique style and a unique way of making their sounds.. shit, its really hard to explain this one hahaha I just fucking love their music

its a unique and weird sound for me. IMO noone has ever sounded like them. I am actually discussing it on MSN as well with my dear Babsi, and I just said to her that its a love or hate thing.... its not an inbetween artists. Or what do you think?

Cant remember what year I used the first tracker like program for my C64, but it must have been around 1984-86? I think I was around 10 when I started playing with the first tracker like program. The trackers for Commodore 64 didnt have any facilities to play sampled sounds, so it was sidsounds style
