I know how to set it up, just I dont know what the loss in signal will be, I will google that for sure, just wanted to know if anyone has experience. When I used the patchbay before, it was for the virus and for some other analogue gear, and the loss was very minimal.... i dont know about the soundcard though...

So, here is what I got. 1 16 chanel digital mixer 1 Audio card 10 outputs 1 CD Decks 1 DJ Mixer with 4 channels 1 Patchbay Now, what do I want to do? Instead of mixing with the internal mixer in Traktor, I want to be able to control the mix via the DJ Mixer. In order to do that, I need to route deck a and deck b to Audio01 and Audio02 (both Stereo, using 4 channels) I would then normally lose 4 channels to make music with, however I have a patchbay. The patchbay will however (And this is the feeling I get) bring the soundquality down a little bit. So my question, does anyone have any experiences with patchbays? Whats the loss? Should I go for it? I mean, How cool wouldnt it be to be able to play with 2 decks in Traktor, at the same time as 2 normal CD decks, and one Vinyls player.... mix mayhem! I am thinking of integrating Ableton live and my midicontroller as well, but that is the next step Playing with loops at the same time as playing records is brilliant (for me) So, tell me guys, what you reckon? Will I lose quality when patching it, or will it not be noticeable? It will go like this in the schematics: Soundcard > Patchbay > Dj Mixer/Digital Mixer > Digital Mixer > soundcard in (A bit confusing yeah I know hehe) Nemo

Im gonna bring this up to the moderators. I am going to suggest that NO MODERATION will be done in ONE months time. We will not close any threads that are spam, we will not barge in when there are fights, and we will not react to any reports that we get, when a user gets flamed or insulted by another member. We will simply just watch and see what happens under that month, and then we will see? Right? I dont know if the moderators are willing to do so, but I am willing to give it a try. Dear Alien, Let me explain the search function to you. When you search a forum, and you can specify the PART of the forum that you want to search, you will keep the performance to a maximum at all times. Meaning, if you search the WHOLE forum for "CPU Broken" it will take up more memory, than if you search the "Tech Talk" forum for "CPU Broken". So, what the AIM was to do, is to create a forum where ALL the techie talk could be. In order to find it better, and keep the searching of the forum from slowing down the experience for the OTHER users that are reading. Now, I was MOVING threads that were computer related into that forum, and I dont have TIME to read each and every thread. By mistake the thread was moved, which then my friend Reznik pointed out. It was then MOVED back to offtopic, and the matter ended there. Okey, I have listened to this album enough now, to make have an honest opinion about it. This is one of the best full on releases I have heard this year. It is also one of the best Techno releases this year. Furthermore, its the best trance album released this year. I love every single track on it. Its not Koxbox oldschool style, but you can hear Frank in it.... Frank is still the man for me! You hear those squelchy wet acid sounds?! Thats KOXBOX right there for you... Its The signature. I love his new sound! So, did I say that I think its the best Psychedelic release this year as well?! No I guess not. I will do a track by track review later maybe, but for now, its simply going to be 11/10 the extra point for being an old man with long hair showing the kids how to fucking play ball!
