  1. Hi there, and welcome to the board! You go to "My Controls" and then on the right side, you will see, Compose new Message. Once you have clicked on that you can fill in a member name, a subject and of course what you want to write. The other way of doing it, is to search the members of the forum for the member you want to PM, and you click on his profile. Once you are there, you will see a little link where it says Send a Personal Message to this button. OR you can if you are reading a thread where you see a member which you want to PM, just klick the PM button under his Avatar name and stats the pm button looks like this: Hope it helpded Nemo
  2. http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=641458 This is what reger is complaining that he got a warning for. In the beginning it just said. "Stupid for him..." I found the comment absolutely wrong, and if you dont have anything else to say, or didnt know the person of the subject, then you should just shut it, or evolve what you say, so you dont get misunderstood. I find it wrong in ANY CASE to post ANYTHING in that thread, if it isnt something nice about the person, to remember him etc etc. There was a thread about suicides already going, and Reger COULD HAVE expressed his thoughts there instead.... No reger HAS to bump the thread and say "stupid for him, sad for the rest of the world." A one liner like that just looks stupid, arrogant, and very disrespectful. If thats all you have to say about someone that you didnt know... then just dont do it. I told reger to either EDIT, or get it Deleted by us, and I would take the warning OFF. Reger instead opens up a whole thread, and makes a drama, no warning gets taken OFF. This is the explanation to the warning, and thats all youll get folks. Nemo
  3. damn, there is this track on released on koyote as well... cant remember the artist though, and I dont have my records here to check... might be Encens or Semsis... which brings me to Acid Tester (Ominus), which was one hell of a track... but no Wolfs
  4. I dont think he took it from the movie, because as Traveller already suggested, its from 2002.... but sometimes dates and times are wrong on IMDB hehehe...
  5. The thing is, the part used in the track is the exact same instruments and everything as in the movie... THIS is what buggs me hehehe, because thats written for The Hot Chick
  6. I actually begin to think that this is a very well known Meregue riff.... i mean, it would only make sense... I am digging out some music... let me see what I find
  7. doesnt matter, its the same track right, want me to record it for you!? Now, maybe its a track that is already called Meregue Pie or something, but by another artist...
  8. Okey, we all know that Simon Posford stole the samba stuff in My Head Feels Like A Frisbee, and I think I might have found the source! I saw a movie called Kill The Poor, and its throughout the whole movie. Now it seems to be in a Movie called The Hot Chick as well.... "Merengue Pie" Written and Performed by Scott Nickoley and Ronald Dunlap. Can someone confirm? Aparently written FOR The Hot Chick!? Okey if that is the case, then its pretty... ummm how do they say so nicely in the US, LAME?! Can someone help me track down this track, as it doesnt seem to be released on the soundtracks for the above mentioned movies. Is there maybe another artists that did this track? Does anyone have more information!? Let the detective work begin!
  9. i still think its very well produced, there is no doubt about it.
  10. That is true, but he is also a MASTER of twisting and fuckin them up....
  11. reminds me of the southpark episode with "the one which has no life"
  12. dude, I am so convinced... but i wont spoil anything... true believers have to stay true believers
  13. goa gil doesnt have age, it stoped at 100.... now hes just vegetating.... anyways, this post by NHJO made me realize who the man behind him might be!
  14. Trentemoller special edition (2cd), that one is good, and well worth the 13 euro... Yes, and Vibraspere... yes yes!
  15. Of course, and I agree with you Radi. Using a factory default sample is not very inventive. Or a factory default preset..... Like I said, its up to the user and his imagination what he does with FL Studio. If he can do a really good track, im not going to diss him for the fact that he used FL Studio. Even if he used the internal synths.... I mean comon, would you think that you can get a good sound out of the VB-1? I only recently discovered it, because I thought it was a LAME factory synth in Cubase... but I was wrong. It all depends on your knowledge about sound engineering, and your knowledge about effects, then even the most basic dull sounding synth can sound cool Hail the inventive people! I am really pro them!
  16. Y0, no worries man, happy I could help
  17. 1. Its not about what a producer uses, its the outcome that counts. If I chose to use a tracker, and the sound is stunning, then whats the diffrence if I used cubase and had the same results? 2. Please post examples of tracks, post your proof that its samples taken and not been processed. If it is so easy, make an example yourself, post that and the track that they did it in. 3. Tons of effects are not always the best way of using a sample, it all depends on the sample itself. I have tons of drumloops that I am not putting through ANY effects at all, but I do chop em up, and re-order. 4. If every kid would know how to use FL Studio, then there would be hell of a lot Simon Posfords out there. I have heard stunning tracks made in FL Studio from friends, where I could not believe it was true. However, if every kid can do this, then why.... well I dont need to elaborate I think... see point number 1. Like you so niceley already said in my mixtape thread, if you dont have imagination.... Now, I would like to hear YOUR stunning tracks made in FL Studio, so we can judge if there is a "Make good psytrance red button" in it Good evening radi... by the way, did you even read my PM!?
  18. Let me check out some stuff and ill get back to yall
  19. times out for me, seems like they dont allow me... oh well. listening to some vapour space now instead, and will install vista for the 20th time!
  20. Yeah, taken from what are you listening to thread, I had to post it here as well: Vapour Space - Gravitational Arch of 10 . One of the best tracks ever made. If you havent heard it, try and get it. The original is on Plus8 Records. But reprinted on several other labels. http://www.discogs.com/artist/Vapourspace I met Mark Gage at the LoveCore party in Copenhagen (many years ago hehe) and he is everything that you would NOT expect from an electronic musician. When i first saw him, I thought he was missplaced. He looked like some hillbilly. He had this cowboy shirt, cowboy boots, and ripped jeans. So, we chatted for a while, and I must say, hes one of the nicest persons I have met, and he has knowledge that goes beyond and above anything that I could wish for. A true inovator in the electronic music scene. Anyways, this is one of his most trancey tracks, and it still rocks any dancefloor! In fact, I will actually play it out the next time I am playing! The problem with the track is, that its so complete, that its very hard to get the perfect track as a next. Its not an intro track, nor is it a track you play in the middle or the end of a set. Its just fantastic... but I guess its going to have to be Intro... wish me good luck to top myself with it. But anyways, (And here is the EDIT) I find that many of his tracks are very psychedelic, eventhough its techno. He really knows how to play with that 101 (Better than Posford, thats fo shoe! What a bold statment eh?!). Anyways, dig it out, listen to some of his stuff, and tell me what you think. I would very much intressted in what you think. And, are there any other artists, from that era, that made "Techno" But were trippy and psychedelic?! (I know lots, I just want others input!) Enough of electronica lesson, listen to the track and enjoy Hope you like it as much as I do.
