No, im telling you that you never speak from Experience, only from what you have read on the I N T E R N E T. I can see the diffrence between someone with experience, and someone that reads a lot. The problem with that though, is that if you just read up your knowledge, you will easily get caught up with people calling bs on you. and no, it is NOT 100% doable to do it.. I will show you some examples very soon. As soon as I am done with my album, I will make ONE track that is processeed digitally, on my digital mixer, with ONLY digital effects... and vice versa. And please radi, I know that my limit is my imagination, why do you think that I am experimenting this much!? I am experimenting so much with old stuff vs new stuff, and fucking about with sounds, that I actually get very little music done! I think I should rather work with something like this... Now, I am going to get a REAL tape recorder very soon: Gonna bring it home from Germany (Its not that model, but very similar, its my dads old one, and its in perfect working condition). He actually has some unmastered Kraftwerk stuff somewhere.... I cant wait to dig through the old tapes!

Ummm im calling shits on you, the people that I read using this technology is people like Peter Gabriel etc etc... its a SOUND that you want to create, a FEELING.... There are just SOME things that you CAN NO re-create digitally.... warmth and love are 2 of them

Cool!!! I was thinking to take around 3 dollars per tape, or something, its one dollar or more for a high quality tape, and then post and package should be around 1 or 2 dollars as well, depending where you send them too, of course Ill let yall know when the first one is done

I have been reading about it in SOS, and it sounds like a cool effect yeah. What I think is really a pitty though, is that you dont get the mixtapes anymore, I mean... are tehre even people that OWN a casette recorder?

Well, so I bought myself a casette recorder yesterday, one of the reasons why I bought it, is because I want to experiment with taping some of my electro tracks to tape, and then record them back to the computer (to get a dirty effect), but the other reason being, I want to start taping MIXTAPES again. Old goa, electro, psy whatever, just old Mixtapes.... Did you have Mixtapes(especially old goa/psy)? Do you still have some of them? Would you buy a mixtape online if you still could? I know I would, they are sooooo cool! Discuss!

Why would that be lame? It would give us controll over bots, and it would give us control over WHO joins. There are enough members on the site, which could invite new members.... of course, its not going to happen... atleast not right now, but there is certainly NOTHING lame about it.

Hi All! We have made some changes on PsyNews. 1. The Warn system. We have changed the warn system to give you an increase of 15% instead of 33%. This means, 6 warnings instead of 3 before you get banned from the site. However this also means, that you will receive direct warnings via the warn system and not be Pre-Warned in threads anymore. 2. We have opened up a thread in the General section which is pinned where you can complain about any moderator/admin actions. So from now on, we would like to see all complaints in there, and we will ANSWER them there. Any threads that get opened complaining about the mods will either get ignored, or they will be moved into the pinned thread. COMPLAIN HERE! Any useless stuff will be removed instantly from this thread. (Self explanatory) 3. We will be stricter upholding the rules from now on. This applies to mods and admins as well. 4. There are some changes to be made to the rules coming up shortly, for all of our convenience. One thing is to open up a thread, but one is to spam the forum with several threads a day, and moreover, several threads about the exact same thing over a week. Open one thread for EACH subject.
