the 6 first tracks are pretty easy to put together, I would put them in a BIT different order, but then again, thats me, not you. I love the Kluster track, I think I will have to buy this album! No, I do not think its important, but with the right track, and the right way of doing it, it can sound really good. This effect that you are talking about, is mostly used in regular trance though (I mean, its more used in Regular trance than GOA/Psy)
