  1. you hurt da regarghs feelings d(o.O)b you called him the most insulting insult evargh...
  2. random blah, does not matter if it is random or if its done firmly, same bitching going on anyways. read my post above
  3. He can post himself if he does not want to come here... And look at Exotics post from today?! Also a dear friend of mine that is kind of "tired" of the continous "bullshit"... Correct me if I am wrong my dear friend! Why is Feathers and Pixie Janet not here that often!? Why is it that mostly the spammers and negative people are left (well, sorry, there are some of you positives around as well) OD, where is he gone to? (I know you just posted you twat haha). Let me tell you where these people are.... on OTHER forums, where the people actually respect eachother, respect the rules, and respect the music.... (And dont ask me which forum that might be, because I want my peace on those forums hehe). Yeah, im harsh, and I am sorry about being so... Another funny thing is those people that HATED cinos and radi, that NOW are complaining, or saying it was wrong to ban them... Talk about being two-faced. At least stand up for your point of view... that way maybe you will get more respect. Fuck I am tired of this eternal bullshitting about Moderation this and Moderation that, ill say it for the last time. DONT LIKE THE RULES, THEN GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!
  4. moderation schmoderation.... I just wonder why so many NON mods are not coming here too often anymore =) I mean, not even one of my good friends likes to come here anymore....
  5. Okey, I have listened to this album 5 straight times since I got it, and I must say that its up there together with OOOD's last album. Not because its the same style, but because its got the same quality! This is a very thought through album that went straight into my little diabetes heart, and then made it pump faster. I am amazed with the flow, and the way of thinking of this man, Ace "the man" Ventura! It got all the elements that I am looking for, trance, acid, techno and proggressive builds! I wish I had the time and patience to write a full on review for this album, but I simply can not at the moment, but I hope that my few words will make you interested in listening to this piece of art that has been created! Same as for OOOD, this album tops my top and gets a 11/10 Maybe I will go through the tracks at a later point! as they say in Spain, "A job extremely well done" Nemo //In listening mood
  6. Cause I feel a bit limited in what Live can do. There are some things that you just can not do properly... well, small things, like for instance it does not really have any good quantizing options (correct me someone if im wrong, but I have not found them haha). I think Ableton live is really good, and I will of course continue working on it for my live sets, without a doubt, thats the main reason why I bought it in the first place. You will love what Cubase can offer you mate, it really is KICK ASS! What Colin said! Dont give up completely on Reason, its a good tool, and it can give inspiration on the fly like Cubase can not sometimes. I sometimes just open it up to make a drum pattern, throw in some samples and a bassline, and get super cool ideas. I personally think that the drum machine and the samplers are some of the best machines ever made in Software. It is just too damn bad that it can not make use of VSTi's But hey, with ReWire everything is possible and of course, I would like to hear what you accomplish in Cubase Greetings from a semi-sunny spain haha! Nemo
  7. hey stereo, check out http://www.reasonfreaks.com/ =)
  8. Hi Otto! =) Vocoder - Native Instruments Vokator Vocoder - Orange Vocoder Sampler - Native Instruments Kontakt Drum Machine - Native Instruments Battery Drum Machine - RMIV Awsome Synth - Native Instruments all =) I personally do not like the RMIV as a drum module, but I know a lot of people that do. I feel that the Battery is a better choice since of all the tweaking options =) I just changed from Ableton live to Logic Pro... and fuck, its a hard change haha =)
  9. yeah, Edirol, never gonna touch that midi controllers again, 2 of them died on me.. all of a sudden, 2 of the C and D keys just DIED.... weird as.
  10. you are kidding right? Can I have it instead? You have to be kidding....
  11. well, I am SURE you will love it mate If I can recommend anything to anyone, it would be to you, cause I know what ticks you
  12. Prolly belongs in Offtopic, because this is not really psytrance... more like Electro/techno/trance but maaaaan its so good music. I was listening to Sturm und Drang while skating the other day, and it really sent me on a very nice trip. Its trippy music with many funny moments that make you smile. Sometimes some sample or loop comes in that just does not fit at all, but when you think about it a second later, you know that it was just PERFECT. I can highly recommend this album above to people that like their music trippy, minimal, trancey and funny.
  13. Yeah, this guy needs to change name... taking an old school trance/tech guys name is NOT cool!
  14. I love. I am listening to the Pocket Universe album at the moment, and I am amazed how they really made one of the most prychedelic and most ambient albums in 1997. I bet some of the psy artists from then wish they were Dieter Meier and Boris Blank For sure one group that has made a lot, but never got really recognized bigtime I love Yello so much that I have even stolen samples from them
  15. well, brujo is the male version of a witch hehehehehe...
  16. what if I tell you I can keep 4 vinyls in sync? would I be super cool then? I hear ya friend!
  17. Yeah, and you think that because some dj that looks like he is spinning cds is not doing just the same? I am sorry, but being a laptop dj is often MORE work than spinning cds or vinyl. I for one, am finding myself working more, since I am pretty new to this. But to come back to your thing why you are so pissed off, do you KNOW how many djs there are out there that put on a CD or a DAT and then PRETEND to be djing? Funny, there are prolly some of your FAVORITE djs doing JUST that, yet you blame the laptop djs.... oh well, im sorry that I have to say this but I think youre fooling yourself. Dont be blind. edit: I know many djs that pre record the tracks onto a couple of cds, that are perfectly matched to the tracks, and then they just follow the tracklist... thats pretty much the frikken same as just putting on a cd. I am good at twisting some freak knobs
  18. im listening to Sven Vath & Anthony Rother - Springlove
  19. I use ableton on the mac, and I get some really stunning results is there a link to new logic express to see what it "lacks" ?
  20. Yeah, nice attitude towards the company that is trying to make it easier for "normal deadly people" to obtain a pro audio editing software I think as a student you can get it for less than 250 euros (btw hehe) I wish I could try before buy though..
  21. Sadly enough, I said it would be my one and only post in the thread, but I can not restrain myself after reading RTP's post. RTP: Did you know that the BPM Counter of the most cd players that you find on any parties are just as accurate or even MORE accurate than the one in any program that you have out there? Oh, and you will concur with: Yeah but a good dj does not look at the counter of the player... they ALL do. Its not what you use as your tool when you play out to people that counts, its the result, isnt it? If a dj is a good dj with his laptop and effects, then hes a good dj, if he sucks, he sucks... the same goes for the DISC player i am afraid And like I said before, I still use Vinyl a lot, because I love the touch... but I am for sure as hell not going to be a an old git and a conservatist (yeah I know that word does not exist), because the future will kill (not like taking your lives) the likes of you.
