  1. Another World To Sirius From Nibiru Dance Of Distant Worlds Cosmology Cosmic Dimension Sky Technology Back To Space Pleiadians Crop Circles Magick Universe I'm not saying none of those are spacey in my opinion, but some definitely aren't. To me, Crop Circles is not at all spacey, although I love the music.
  2. I had Monday off - here in the U.S. it's a holiday, although not one that everyone gets off. One of the benefits of my company being bought by another - we get a couple extra holidays now.
  3. I'm noticing a lot of obviousness in this thread. Saying something is "spacey" because the name includes something literally space- or cosmic-related is kind of lacking in imagination.
  4. I eat a fair amount of tofu. I don't see how it could be disgusting. It's just beans, and has basically no taste of its own.
  5. Both of those are good options. The Apollo may be short on inputs for you, but may have a bit better converters, and most importantly has UAD processing. UAD has some seriously awesome plugins. There's also another option that may be cheaper. Assuming you don't need to record all 19 inputs at once, you can get an interface with fewer inputs, and run all your synths into an analog mixer that lets you choose which inputs go to the record outputs. That way, you also run the output from the computer into the mixer, plug the monitors into the mixer, and you can record the synths one or two at a time. That's what I do. I don't have 19 synth outputs, but I run my hardware synths and computer output into a mixer and record the hardware tracks one at a time.
  6. Out of curiosity, how much had you heard about it when you saw it? Seems to me that people who saw it after the hype spread didn't find it very scary. In my case I barely knew anything about it, I saw it the night before it went nation-wide in the U.S. (I worked at a movie theater), and after I watched it I walked home through deserted night streets at about 4am.
  7. In no particular order: The Blair Witch Project Event Horizon Requiem For A Dream The Ring
  8. So what's the problem you're trying to solve? How many total audio outputs do you have?
  9. Oh, well you'd need a MIDI interface, audio interface, and monitors at least. That's assuming you can run all the synths into the audio interface for monitoring. If the interface didn't have enough inputs, or you just wanted to do it differently, you could get a hardware mixer for monitoring. That's how I do it.
  10. Do you mean using synths that are native to each of those programs, and not available in any other format? I don't know about FL, but Logic and Live both have ReWire capability, so if FL does too then you could use Logic as the master and use the other two ReWired into it.
  11. That product is pretty old. M-Audio was originally called Midiman, but hasn't been for many years. Also, you may notice on that page that the person says how they talked to M-Audio about drivers for Windows 2000.

  13. Today I read about nuclear pulse propulsion. Pretty interesting stuff!
  14. Damn, I always wanted to be a wizard! Now I know how!!
  15. No dude, I mean like a Star Trek-style teleporter! Otherwise it's something like $2000 (US) to fly there from where I am.
  16. The first goa/psy song I ever heard was Astral Projection - Mahadeva, and it blew my mind. It didn't make me go in search of more though. At the time I didn't even realize that 'goa' was a thing. I was all into commercial trance then. Only later when I got into it did I realize this crazy song I'd had for a couple years from MP3.com was part of the whole thing. First album I heard that blew my mind was probably Hallucinogen - Twisted.
  17. I think listening to the list of top voted albums is a pretty damned good way to find some good music. But don't stop there!
  18. Impressive...too bad it's still out of the question for me. When were those $50 teleporter rides supposed to become available?
  19. I think it's this. My city has an annual naked bike ride.
  20. I think that many people who enter the psytrance scene in the post-Golden Era (post-1998) times, myself included, initially find fullon to be pretty cool. After all, it's energetic, and to varying degrees melodic and/or psychedelic. But at some point people's opinions diverge; many jump full-body into the fullon scene, but others delve into the past of the music or into alternate branches of the present and find a wider variety of psytrance styles. For those of us in the latter group, fullon often quickly starts to sound homogenized, stale, uninspired, lowest-common-denominator tripe. Since we here at Psynews tend toward that latter group, we tend to have a pretty negative opinion of fullon. Of course, people here also tend toward an even worse opinion of dubstep...
  21. Wow, is that actually considered (by anyone) to fall under the psytrance umbrella? Sorry, I have no answer to your question, I don't pay much attention to fullon.
