    Can't say that I do. That's one of the things that I think helped his music really catch on when it was resurrected a few years ago: it had a bit of a different sound that was not like the (sometimes formulaic) newer goa trance, had a bit of an old school vibe but also didn't rehash the old school sound.

    Awesome, I'm glad you're having fun with it! Echo does wonders too, tends to turn a boring sound into INSTANT PSYCHEDELIC!! Of course, as in all things, moderation is the key.

    Boy, it's just my favorite thing ever when I bang my head against a wall for 3-4 hours trying to figure out why my circuit isn't working, and it only THEN occurs to me to try another IC in case the one I'm using is bad.

    OK, I've moved it to the Other Electronica forum since it's not psytrance. I can't say the music is for me. It kind of reminds me of old electronic stuff, maybe late 80s/early 90s, but I'm not familiar enough with that era to really know. I definitely can say I don't like the little stabby sound that vaguely sounds like a voice with a fast pitch bend.

    I didn't have much to do at work today, so I spent half the day trying to figure out the feasibility of a small-scale, electrically-powered hot air balloon. I got myself a bit lost among unfamiliar heat transfer concepts, but I think the general answer is "no, it's not feasible." I may still try to figure out an actual numerical reason for it not to work, unless the random interest bug escapes me and I give up.

    Yes. I had one that is perforated metal (more of an egg shape than an actual ball), but I thought I'd get better results out of a mesh one, so I went in search of that.

    I listened to about 17 minutes of the first one, and it sounded like a good track selection up to that point, but it was very lacking in low end. Is that how your mix was, or is that some weird effect of that site's transcoding? I couldn't get the second one to play, it kept giving me an error.

    Just got mine today! The CD was so stuck on the center piece of the case that trying to get it off I was afraid it would break, it bent so much. Still working through it, but damn that OOOD & Moonweed song is awesome!

    Just got back from donating blood platelets, and I need to go get something to eat. I have no food at home and I don't want to make anything, but the place I really want to eat at is a bar, and I shouldn't really drink right afterward. But I probably will. Just a smidge.

    Between TransAddendum and TransStellar, I prefer TransStellar. But like Padmapani says, it's mostly known tracks anyway. But if you really boil it down, Transdimensional, TransAddendum and TransStellar are so similar to each other it's a little hard to tell them apart.

    This comment is a few years late, but...good lord, what a horrible movie to watch while stoned! It's a great movie, no doubt, one I rave about and hope to never watch again because no other outside force has ever made me as depressed as that movie did.

    Out of curiosity, why did you reject resumes that were too qualified? I've read about that being a source of frustration for job hunters who got laid off for no reason of their own and can't even get crappy jobs because they look overqualified.

    Track 4 is Dimension 5 - Limitless Dimension, but the mix sounds weird. I wonder if it's live or something.

    Probably a combination of sinus congestion and pressure differences. If your ears can't equalize properly it totally fucks up the frequency perception.
