That sucks. A lot of my friends are suddenly having relationship problems.

Just saw this comment regarding Pacific Rim:

Not the kind of stuff I usually listen to but that was fairly good.

I had no clue what my first post was about, but I guessed it was either in General Psytrance or (old) Off Topic, so went back through GP until my join date and happened to see it. If my first post had been a reply and not starting a thread I would have had a much harder time I'm sure.

No, that's not it at all.

I've been bored a lot in my life, and it doesn't necessarily mean there's nothing to occupy my time. It means nothing sounds interesting, and I take it to mean there's something missing from my life in general. I was bored last weekend, but I couldn't think of anything I actually wanted to do, so I just got drunk. That kills boredom.

I haven't travelled much. Basically just Egypt and London. London was cool for being new to me, but realistically it's just a city. Egypt was great outside of Cairo, though I'm not sure I'd recommend travel to it at the moment.

I don't know enough to answer.

I like some hot food, but I don't really go for sauces. I do like salsa though, and the hottest I go is habanero. There's a brand I get of mango habanero salsa that is really good. They also make a ghost pepper salsa but stuff that hot is more than I want to try.

What do people do who are addicted to the internet? What is out there that provides such ceaseless interest? I used to spend more time online, usually either reading about certain subjects and learning new things, or checking out music. These days I find very little to be of interest, and I don't have the patience to comb through tons of music.

10 most listened music of the last month (goa)
Veracohr replied to Mantra604's topic in General Psytrance
My Last.fm charts don't look accurate, they're telling me every track I've listened to in the last month I've only listened to once. That is definitely not the case. But since they don't count what I listen to in the car, I'd probably say 1-8. Etnica Live in Athens 1996 9-10. Crop Circles Lunar Civilization EP -
What does that have to do with internet addiction? I'm not addicted to the internet. Most of my internet time takes place at work when I don't have anything to do, so I find stuff to kill time. If I were never on the internet at work, I'd probably spend an average one hour a day.

It really depends on the music. I'm more into darkpsy at a party than listening at home, so I can dance to it sometimes, but if it gets too fast, repetitive, anti-melodic and feels like someone's taking a jackhammer to my head, I flee for softer pastures.
-
Methinks you're missing some inbetween levels there! I don't 'hate' darkpsy, but there's little of it I like. I've heard some that was OK, I just don't know what.

Yes, ripping a bunch of CD's would take time, but that's not really a 'risk', just an annoyance. Plus, I have 20 year old CD's that still play fine, so I'm not worried about that so much.

cd playback problems most often on the very last track?
Veracohr replied to trancenonZENsedance's topic in General Psytrance
I only have one CD that I can't play the last track, as far as I can remember. But like Dolmot said, the last track is the outermost one, so it's most prone to damage on the edge. -
Mind. Blown. I read through some of the Wikipedia stuff, but it's very hard to wrap my brain around. Hard to look at those images and conceptualize the 4th dimension.

Wow, I just listened to the samples on Beatport, and I can't believe it's the same Talpa.

Anyone know if it's possible to visually represent more than 3 dimensions in a 2-dimensional medium like an image? We can represent 0-3 dimensions, but is it possible to represent 4 dimensions? I don't know anything about philosophy of dimensions, but we can represent 3 dimensions in a 2-dimensional medium (with some imagination). Is it possible to represent 4 dimensions?
-
I've only listened to it once so far, but I was thoroughly impressed!

After a long time under a heavy thumb, I think they're flexing their freedom muscles. I suspect we haven't seen the last of the demonstrations and pulling down of leaders. It may take them a while to get to a point where being frustrated and angry with their politicians gets delayed until the next election cycle, since they've seen popular protest work well to pull down a leader.
