  1. 'Other', because the answer is no.
  2. I listened to this last night on the crappy laptop speakers while I was doing other things, and thought it sounded pretty good except for that goddamned guitar. I decided to listen to it again just now on my headphones and whoa! The guitar isn't as much of a problem, and the low end really brings it to life!
  3. I see the default avatar now (no photo).
  4. I also wish there was no default avatar - that it was blank for people who didn't upload an avatar, like the previous version.
  5. Do you get some kind of error when you try to change it?
  6. Listened to a few samples on Saiko - some of it is pretty interesting, but the mix quality isn't very good.
  7. I'm not looking for something from any particular era, just something good that I can buy. Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm not looking for techtrance. Looking for psytrance that leans toward tech. I know, I'm demanding.
  8. I got UUL LUULAZYSB and skipping a line, Rotwang.
  9. It doesn't necessarily have to be recent, just something I can get my hands on. I don't really know if I'm asking for "real techno trance stuff", I haven't heard enough of what I'm thinking of to give any examples. I'm thinking something that is definitely still psytrance, but on the tech side. I'm compiling a list of CD's to buy right now and everything on it is pretty heavily melodic, and most of the psy I have is pretty heavily melodic. I need some balance in my collection. Listening to that Spirallianz now. Not bad, but not doing much for me. That was pretty good, I didn't realize BPC had anything like that! Unfortunately that album isn't readily available. (You're on my list by the way!)
  10. Can anyone recommend something on the techy side? Something still trancey, but not overly melodic? I don't know much in the way of examples, but maybe like Cybernetika?
  11. I can't, it's tiny. Clicking on it just brings it out from the post, but it stays the same size.
  12. I work in sales, not as a salesperson but supporting the salespeople of a hard drive company. Currently studying electrical engineering.
  13. A couple days ago I was checking out various releases, starting to put together a big list to buy, and finally got around to listening to all the samples of this album. I really wanted to want it, I've liked other Artifact303 that I've heard before, but I found it much too fluffy. Too emotional. I'm not saying it wasn't good, just too over the top with the 'morning' sound. Maybe I'm just more in the mood for darker, more techy stuff at the moment. I'll give it a shot again next time around.
  14. Ways The Internet has disappointed you 1. The Charlie Sheen 'Winning' joke is already over.
  15. Struggling to convince myself not to buy a x0xb0x. It's difficult, 'cause I have the money. If my brother doesn't respond to my email soon about going to visit him, I'm taking that plane ticket money and buying me a x0x!
  16. Certainly I see the logic that says smaller grooves would cause lower sound levels, but I'm saying I've never heard about anyone being concerned about it. I think the difference would be negligible, and entirely unimportant with an adjustable volume amplifier. I think a bigger difference in the output from just the player is the cartridge - moving magnet or moving coil. I believe they put out quite different levels.
  17. I've never heard of any level differences in LP vs. non-LP. Even if that's the case, that's what the preamp is for.
  18. Another thing to remember is that nicks in the top/label side of a CD are more likely to cause skipping. There's just a thin layer of printing between the top and the data area. On the bottom there's a thicker layer of plastic, and marks on the bottom that cause skipping can sometimes be buffed out.
  19. Vegging out before I have to do some hardcore studying and take a test. At least I can take the test from home.
  20. I'm a little lactose intolerant...that was too much cheese. BRB That was seriously a remix of what Ormion posted? I didn't hear any similarities at all.
  21. Wow, I think I saw this guy again! Different store this time, the one right behind where I live. I hope he doesn't live that much closer to me!
  22. Ah, well that doesn't prove much does it? What HASN'T she been caught stealing?
  23. Nice, I really like the third one!
