So Radi, are you the one who decides whose brain is 'weak'? I don't know why you think that. In fact, eating too much sugar usually gives me the opposite reaction to what you said.
-
There isn't a single track, of course. Otherwise the genre "goa trance" would consist of only that one song.

No, "internet of things" refers to internet-connected things, like home appliances, cars, any kind of hardware that isnt a direct consumer device like a phone or something. I think 10 is good for a CD. I think downloads should be less unless theres real facts that the IT costs of downloading an album are equal to manufacturing a CD. And I think MP3 downloads should cost less than lossless formats. Personally I'm usually only willing to purchase FLAC downloads, not MP3.

V/A - The Live Remixes - Out now on Bandcamp
Veracohr replied to a topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
I must admit that I'm not familiar with the originals of these songs, or for that matter any of your work at all. But these are pretty fantastic! Purchased! -
My poor kitty just died.

Well I have one of the books published as the "Necronomicon", the name of which Lovecraft invented. That almost counts.

It doesn't sound that 'separate' to me, I can hear the stylistic flow. Maybe you can consider it an evolution of the 'mashup' phenomenon, into the realm of original creation. Not my cup of tea, but it makes sense to me musically.

M-Audio MIDI Keyboards/Controllers
Veracohr replied to CoMaster's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
I have a different Oxygen, the Oxygen8 V2, and the action is terrible and almost completely unplayable. If you have any stores where you can demo boards before you buy one, I suggest that.- 2 replies

That kind of thing seems like a thinly-veiled source database for targeted advertising/spamming.

Sunday I saw "As Above, So Below". The title could have been better, but it's a freaking awesome movie!

This is kind of off topic, but: Holy crap, 3 minutes where essentially nothing happens except a monotonous bassline?! I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but people actually listen to such crap? It sounds weird pitched down. I bet it would have sounded more better and more eerie at the normal pitch.

FIVE FAVOURITES GOA ALBUMS AND TEN FAVOURITE GOA TRACKS 1994-1998
Veracohr replied to chaoseed9's topic in General Psytrance
My sentiments exactly. -
Listening to that Angerfist, and how 'clean' (in a manner of speaking) and modern it sounds, made me finally understand something. A while ago I checked out this hardcore record at a store that I listened to just because of the label, which said something like "Hardcore should always be dirty, overcompressed, and sound like crap". Something along those lines. It was most definitely a more quick-and-dirty production sound than the polished sound of Angerfist.

Hey, I like that Angerfist!

Derp. I was trying to remember which song it was in, so I was listening to various stuff. Of course since I was doing this drunk, I managed to type the wrong thing.

The extent of my gabber is the compilation Nightmares From Rotterdam. It's mostly good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0wczziCZ3I

I've noticed a few samples which I didn't expect to hear while watching moves or shows: Artha's 'Saikol' has a sample from a bad movie called "Darkness Falls". Nebula Meltdown's "Mindstream Continuum" from the compilation Shaltu has a sample from the show "Stargate SG-1". I think I'd heard that one before the album was released. I think there might have been one or two more I noticed recently but I can't remember right now. This isn't related to psytrance, but I think the first sample I ever recognized was in White Zombie's song "N.W.O.". It's from Apocalypse Now, and was just Dennis Hopper yelling "It's all right! It's all right!" Another sample from the same movie is in Floater's "Snowblind".

Awesome! Was this recently?

I don't think I've ever equated trance with the word 'relaxing', but for me, the ultimate trance nostalgia is the album TranceGlobalNation2. So many classic songs on that album that are the ultimate nostalgia for me!
