  1. Very similar Infected Mushroom - Psycho (1999) Elixir - Furious (1998)
  2. Ok, one hint for every day without any correct answers, right? First hint: This artist not well known and has only released one track. Although this sounds very much like old goa trance this was actually released in 2001
  3. Ok, sample will be up soon.. edit1: wow, my cd drive is unbelievably slow today edit2: Sample
  4. Ah, sorry bout that. Did a search but didn't find anything
  5. Apparently a 100% legal outdoor 'rave' was shut down by police. Troops with assault rifles(!) and dogs also raided the crowd... http://www.404audio.com/forum/viewtopic.ph...der=asc&start=0 http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Utah_dance_par...en_up_by_police http://homepage.mac.com/apexgrin/.Public/fascism.mov Post more info, movies/pics if you find any
  6. These arrived today VA - Airborn (97) VA - Sun Trip goes fifth (98) Juno Reactor - Transmissions (93)
  7. I used to listen to a lot of it back in <2000 but after that it seems like it all turned very uninteresting.. Not many releases since then has interested me but then again I pretty much stopped listening to the genre Favourites from after 2000: Kuffdam & Plant - Seduction (remix) Tiesto - Urban Train Tiesto - Magik Journey Aquasource - Waking up the sun AP - Mahadeva (Joof remix) Now it feels like it has the same crap rate as full-on. Why limit yourself to psy/goa? All trance stuff doesn't have to sound like DJ Sammy or have those screaming noisy synths during a Jesus-decends-from-heaven break...
  8. Agreed! But Tiny Universe is close behind it. Love those melodies in the beginning, bubbly sounds !
  9. I can't think of any, really.. Maybe Psydrop - Fantasy Seeds
  10. heh I asked that a while ago too, I thought you were picking someone's hair
  11. Hyperion - Sun flower Probably the first goa trance track I heard...
  12. heh, sheriff John can blow the slightest offence out of proportion with that voice I just gotta say I love the melodies of "Particle Swarm", "Riot Fuel" and "Vermicious Knid" (Kind?).. and the sound you're using! Gah, it pierces my brain in a positive way And Fluorotronik will be released this month according to their homepage? Sad you're not making any psy anymore I guess we'll just have to wait for another one of those strange phases of yours
  13. yeah, the bass is more or less suffocating all other elements
  14. Man with no name - Teleport Twister - Venom Almost exactly the same
  15. Elixir - Furious Sick sick ending that'll blow your brains out Luminus - Silicosis (remix) Intense acid madness at the end!! Tandu - Alien Pump Both the remix and original.. Filteria - Domestic Modulator Man, the final climax is perfect. Deedrah - Alien Dick Fast acid drenched madness, lovely These never fail giving goosebumps . I've never seen anyone mention the Luminus track, if you've never heard it you should get it. The 303s at the end are insane I tell ya
  16. woah, missed a load a samples... I'll keep my ears open for the next one
  17. mixed feelings about this one, some tracks are awesome but some don't seem to lead anywhere.. Track four (tommy is dead) is really outstanding. Twisted, scary, sad, beautiful. A track with a story. Beautiful mood setting strings contrasted by some dark melodies floating back and forth. Best track on the album Favourites: 1(!), 2(!!), 3 Nice oribinal album with a cool medieval theme, not misted-muppet-medieval-castle kind of theme but rather more like.. hmm, look at the cover Definately Talpa inspired but a little less chaotic which for me means it's not better than "The art of being non". 4/5
  18. Is there any sampling rate? Tapes use magnetic storage -> electric charge for storing the data sound.. I'm no tape expert btw
  19. Made a succesfull trade with Martin, very easy to communicate with. No complaints whatsoever. Thanks again
  20. reviving this one, since we're talking about bad production why not good production? I would like to name one album in particular: Pigs in Space! The production is near perfect, big phat kicks, crystal clear metallic sounds. The music is good not spectacular (with a few exceptions) but the production certainly raises the listening experience!
