Kraal Mayalis.................. Well, it was inspired by two things. in Allen Ginsberg's poen 'Kral Majales' meaning 'king of may' in the old czechoslovakian tongue, and also by Pan the demigod of the natural world from old british and european pagan mythology. i was listening to Ginsberg one day and his reading of that particular poem and i thought it would be nice to sample a bit of the audio and whack it in the tune. It's a great poem, check it out, here's a great clip, with the legendary Neal Cassidy sitting aside Ginsberg in this clip >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y73rEuQVr6s The audio is in the tune too, but much effected and more of a sound design element now than a consciously heard dialogue ( but it is always possible that some golden ear-ed soul or two may discern the words whilst in altered state on the right dancefloor at the right party !!! ) .........and i'm always interested in Alchemy, the combination of elements to produce a formula or new form, and so all the things go in the pot and hey presto.................Kraal Mayalis, my own spelling, just to be different, or maybe a more subconscious thing..................... Hope that makes some kind of sense. A bit of a shame in a way to unveil the mystery, but, well......you did ask

Well, It's a catch22 scenario. I dont have the budget right now to make physical ( i would love to btw) so i offer 4 new tracks, which took a long time time to make, and cost me in the process, but of course i did it for love of the music, and so now, i am offering them up for folks to download, which i most strongly urge folks to do if they enjoy the music, without which imay find myself in the position of not being able to do this anymore............because........no one buys the music. Example, i paid £20 to advertise a few posts on FB to boost the profile of this release, and it did: I reached 35,000 people apparently. I sent a few emails too (well, 200 or so to be exact.)..........Result? 3 downloads. Saying you dont buy digital is all well and good, but the artists DOING something and pushing the envelope (and there are a few people doing this believe it or not) NEED youer support in order to do so. If you buy the music, then the authors will be able to carry on (it's psycholgical, as well as physical). I have a real financial crisis happening in my life right now and i survive from music, so sometimes even a few quid is a lifeline. There is no safety net when you are an artist, pretentious as that may sound, the reality is something most people don't want to think about. Think about that when you listen to your favorite music on an underground scene. The artists have made sacrifices and put themselves on the line to deliver this......it's a calling, a mission, a desire to speak, to communicate. If you like it, buy it, dont squabble about formats, support the souls making it, good things will come from that.......... If you don't like it, dont buy it. There is a desire to communicate, whats the word again? ah yes, LOVE, that's the one. Ultimately it's that simple.............. Unfortunately we are all subject to the financial system, so........................ Help a brother out. Oh, and BTW it takes balls to lay it out like this, but i'm tired this evening and there's nothing in the fridge, no gigs on the horizon and nothing in the diary, just a few debt collection agencies after my ass, and a bunch of people sending me emails and messages saying how much they love my music and how great i am and yet i'm flat broke and worried if i can keep a roof over my head and food on the table.

yeah, all CDs and boxes now all gone................. Problem is, now people keep asking me for more boxes and CDs. Seems the box sets went down very well and people love them, and after a brief visit to Israel for a gig it seems there is still demand, so i am considering making some more boxes but only if people are up for pre ordering again, just like last time. BTW for those who only want digital, the albums are available through Re:Volt, as is the rest of the Voodoo Voltage releases.......................

There are 100 CDs. And i made 30 box sets too each with 2 CDs. They cost me, and i got them pressed professionally. There will only ever be that many as i do not want to press too many, as most of the release is centered around the digital download which commences on Feb 11th. I thought it would be nice to do a few physical product for collectors and enthusiasts...... Maybe there will be more things in the future. They will be strictly limited edition. Personally, I'd rather make vinyl, it's a far superior artefact, but ther are a lot less people collecting vinyl than people collecting CDs it seems. I tried crowd funding a vinyl E.P. last year, and it did not raise the required amount, which is a real shame as i much prefer it as a medium. I know people love CDs too........so that is why i made them, as there is a desire for a physical product, plus the fact that i also design the artwork and if you got in early on the box sets, then they als ocame with the fine art prints and extras............... I take it quite personally when i get complaints, and of course i will refund anyone who is unhappy with the albums, but this kind of thing means i will very likely avoid making anything in the future. I dont need to do this, and it certainly doesnt make sense for me to do so for any kind of profit or financial rewards, it's a labour of love really, and a means of communication from an artist to those who may be interested. Artur, please remove the case from paypal. It fucks me up. Your discs have been sent. They were manufactured in a pressing plant. They have digipak sleeves. They have printed Discs which have a slightly green-ish backing. Is this what you refer to as a CDr? I really dont get what you guys are complaining about, but if you are unsatisfied when you receive your merchandise, then send it back and you will have a refund. The value of a piece of art is a mysterious thing. This work was created over a two year period. Both albums came together concurrently, and Nervasystem3 has selections on it from even earlier and is comprised of a very diverse and all original material. THAT is what you are paying for. The blood sweat and tears..............

They are not CDRs. They are mnanufactured CDs from a professional pressing plant. If you want a refund, please email me rather than take out an issue with paypal, which fucks me up. This is grass roots stuff here. I make the music and i have a direct communication with the listener. Hi Folks, The Nefvasystem3 and Nervasystem4 albums are available from me. The new material, is high quality stuff, yes Nervasystem3 is weird, it's not generic, other than being completely psychedelic and throws in all styles, electronic, ambient, psychedelic rock, electronica, music concrete, weird jazz and others, it was descibed by a reviewer as ''takes us on a journey into a sonic landscape that might be like if C.S. Lewis and Salvador Dali were music producers instead of writers and painters and were listening to Pink Floyd and FSOL while watching a David Lynch film in a jazz bar with LTJ Bukem and dirty radio transmissions.''. Update.......... Calling all lovers of Trance Music Please get behind my indiegogo campaign......... Like it, share it, spread it viral. It's an experiment. I started this to make a record. The record will not be made unless i reach the target. I'm doing this as things seem interesting again. The tunes are top notch, match up to anything i wrote in the 90s and deserve to come out and blow minds and fuel dancefloors. There's a good air of creativity out there right now, a sea change if you like, but the angle of nostalgia can only last so long, the same with the stash of unreleased tunes, they will dry up, so innovation is the only way things will get really interesting again. So, please support and spread. If everyone who has liked the campaign on FB had contributed, i'd be at my goal already and i would be able to make it, but all the like-ers have not contributed, so i'm still dwindling on a fraction of the final goal. C'mon folks, lets make it happen, this is grass roots stuff.
