Hey Procyon, this is actually possible right now. I setup businesses all the time to remote into any computer they want. They use a all-in-one Logitech keyboard case for typing with a $15 app knows ad Jump Desktop. The trackpad is not needed, since they just tap whatever they want to access. There are compatible bluetooth trackpads, however.

Im a nerd looking to serve, lol. I started my own computer technician/ virus removal company my Freshman year in high school. I met a lot of incredible people and gain a lot of connections and experience. Then, in 2011, I started working for Apple and am still doing that to this day. It is the best job I could ever ask for and I love the passion in the air. On the side, I DJ at local clubs, help out with festivals, and have a ton of fun in the musical world. I live in Arkansas, so it is easy for me to help start the electronic scene. It is interesting seeing peoples reactions and I have made countless friends this way. Occasionally, I help voice act for a few animates series online. I stopped doing that back in 2009, but I like to go back to my roots from time to time.

You should all add Ektoplazm on Facebook. they have a lot of really great community discussions there, updates, and more. Ektoplazm is THE REASON why I started reviewing and discovering Psytrance. It has changed my life and I hope to include many aspects of it in future writings. It is one of the best websites i have ever visited.

Spacey Koala eh? That sounds like an awesome DJ name hahah. Thanks for your feedback and support man. I am slowly improving everyday thanks to the community here. I have a review team / website in the works right now. The website is almost done, and it will be a nice home base for the review teams stuff. There is a lot planned down the road. I just need to keep learning more and more until it all comes together. There are still many things I can improve on, but I am glad to see many people enjoy my work in my early stages of reviewing.

The artists call it Suomi, so that is why I do as well. I give it a 10/10 because I feel its innovates a very particular sound and sticks to it. I play this quite often in my car and it never gets old. Everyone definitely has different tastes though. I simply love it. I never give away any sort of score. People seem to agree over on Ektoplazm. The album has a 92% rating with 72 votes. But yeah, everyone will have a different perspective im sure.

This "Suomi" sound is definitely diverse. In fact, I can not quite define the genre just yet. What I do know is it usually involves a quirky or fun attitude towards the sound. Space Babuska and The Drama are my two favorite Suomi albums so far. I can see where not everyone would enjoy the sound in this album, but I personally felt a lot of emotion and innovation in the tracks and wrote a pretty passionate segment on it. Thank for your words! P.S. I sent you a PM about that review team thing... but it deleted... everything.. aaaaaaaaaaaaa :[

Album: The Drama Artist: Escape Into Genre: Progressive, Full-On, Suomi Label: Ektoplazm and Enlight Records Mastering: Colin Bennun Size: 85MB License: CC Price: Free and Donations Track List: 01 - The Professor 02 - Come With Me 03 - H.N.I 04 - The Ziggurat Of Wondrous Wonder 05 - Outro The Drama contains melodic curves of brain shifting frequencies that delight musical cravings, yet they push hard against the boundary walls inside our heads. With intensified, ever-shifting waterfalls of progressive euphoria, a climactic, unexpected, and eye-widening-ear-widening-soul-widening electronic implosion sends brains into star clusters. This album will take you away on a dramatic journey accompanied by a heartwarming orchestra of soothing percussion, passionate and loving piano leads, and elegant energy at every beat. The innovation is outstanding. The vibes are extreme. This album is easily top of the charts, skyrocketing up a staircase of encompassing musical accomplishments that pay close attention to detail and mood. There is not a single second within this marvel I do not enjoy. From the first intro in "The Professor," I knew this album was going to be ridiculously entertaining. Escape Into uses a fresh and interesting recording of a man taking a sit at his piano to begin crafting the visions inside his head. The recording sounds up close and real, and then it uses the tune from the white and black instrument to start off the track. I have heard many attempt this style in the past, but it is rare to hear it done so well. The three dimensional sound is deep and full, taking me into the experience destined. This is where I simply can not stop listening. Every second, a new and interesting idea is born from seemingly nothing. It just pops up, grabs a hold of my body, and shakes me up like never before. This is what we like to call "dancing". I haven't heard a style this diverse in a very long time. From the "get him a glass of water" voice samples from "H.N.I," to the quirky introduction followed by a full-on sub bass with zips and zaps in "The Ziggurat Of Wondrous Wonder". Nostalgic Goa drum lines, Progressive euphoric trance melodies, Classical influences, Full-On Morning and Twilight raging dance patterns, and entirely new concepts are sewn together to build a totally game-changing twist of wonderful perfection. The mood is sweetly amusing. Is this my world as a child? Is it what I feel in my dreams? Is this a recording of a distant glowing planet flying at the speed of light through space? Whatever the case, it is dramatic sound in its finest form. The outro makes me tear up, using downtempo brilliance expected only from the masterminds of the trance community. Yet, in the midst of a free online culture, I find a particular gem in a field of treasure. It is so small, yet its twinkle shines through the darkness to bring a bright and lovely shine into my life. I feel the urge to get up and dance through the night like there is no tomorrow. I am getting lost in a soundscape of harmony with this album. I do not know what else to say, other than I will definitely keep this close to my favorites until the day I die. Download this album immediately, it will well be worth it. Take the normal drama out of your life and inject this into your veins. Your gonna love it. 10/10 Download here on Ektoplazm (MP3, FLAC, WAV) - Review by FatKidWitaJetPak (Nick Sumbles) - Special Thanks to Ektoplazm for the download bandwidth. - Special Thanks to Carol Porto for his incredibly talented artwork!

Oh cool! I was JUST about to review this lol. I have probably listened to it 7 times in my car. I agree totally with your review and also give it a 9/10. It seems some songs are a little bit "static", as in they could be developed to farther distances. It is certainly clean, well mastered, and easily danceable, but I simply crave more. Thanks for joining the Psynews team with me man! I am totally new here as well, so looks like we will be learning together. Are you reviewing releases from Ektoplazm only? (or most). We should talk and be a review team

You don't get bitches through the likes of Goa tracks you silly goose. Don't focus on one particular method of getting her attention. Just be genuine, get to know her a bit, and take things slowly and respectfully. For some reason, I want to record this and put it into a DJ mix. Do I get the Family of Light badge now?

Yeah, her and I went out for about 4 years. Not worth it man. She has a terrible attraction towards garbage. Everyday I would ask her, "Hun, would you like to go to here, or to there, or anywhere?" and she would always rollll he eyes and say "no thanks... I would rather continue rolling around in this garbage". Day after day, she would just keep rolling in garbage. It was really depressing. Then, one day at the crack of dawn, i turned around in my bed and took a hard look into her eyes. As it turns out, she was a pig. It all made sense now. So I put her in a pan and made some bacon. It was the best bacon I have ever had.

Right, there is usually a specific person chosen for mastering since most producers do not do it themselves.

Hey darkill, every reviewer does things differently, but I would recommend giving credit where credit is due by tagging and labeling inside the post. Examples of information to give: Album Artist Album Title Album Label Artwork Artist Mastering Genre(s) Date File Size ---- Also, admins, how do users get that "Family of Light" added to their account?

So... What if Ektoplazm put a "Forums" link on their banner when the redesign is announced? Do you realize how much more traffic we would receive? Think about that... -

Ektoplazm supports this website greatly and I think it would be a good idea to combine forces. Ektoplazm receives more traffic than any other online psycheledic trance community. This is mainly because the website has an incredible amount of free music, constant update, and sexy design. What would happen if we corresponded Psynews reviews and culture with Ektoplazm? It would give people a chance to discuss new albums, read reviews, and come together. I love psynews because it gives a face to the music I listen to. I want to know who listens to it, what they think of it, and what expressions, passions, ideals, cultural advancements, and much more has risen from it. Ektoplazm is the best area for people to discover this site since that is where everyone is going currently. It's like placing a giant advertisement in New York City, -
Yeah man, true innovation doesn't come from those overused techniques haha. This can be used to make a video saying "10 reasons why psytrance is awesome" Also I will be reviewing your ambient album soon! I produce ambient myself, so this should be very interesting.

Stereofeld – Frequenzwechsel Album: Frequenzwechsel Artist: Stereofeld Genre: Progressive, Trance, Morning Label: Sun Station Records When: May 2013 Size: 183MB License: CC Price: Free and Donations Track List: 01 - Zwirbeldrusenfunk 02 - Frequenzwechsel 03 - Earthbound 04 - Extraterrestrial Technology 05 - Tuning In 06 - Wormhole 07 - Hypnotad 08 - Atmospheres 09 - Cuba Libre (with Bart A.B.E.) Be taken aback a few years on a funky road trip through the Stereofeld cosmos. Celebrating nearly three decades of electronic music, this beautiful and danceable treat uses highly original and addictive techniques. Get ready to be swarmed with euphoric funk lines, melodic craftsmanship, and dreamy sound worlds. Enjoyable, solid grooves blow up every second into a colorful arrangement of echoing euphoria. Loving, warm sounds completely take everything underneath a ceiling of space-like instrumentations and perfectly placed vibrating wonders. It is quite the experience, taking any listener on an intensified and incredible journey. Combine the classic engulfing days of arpeggiating Goa with funkylicious basses and progressive trance elements, and "Frequenzwechsel" is born. It is nothing but quality, as expected from an Sun Station Records release. Spectacular! Every step is an incredible one, different from the last. It is impossible to grow tired from a theme in this album, because new themes are used all the time. Thick layers of sound are always present, going in and out at a wonderful, enjoyable pace. Atmospheric ambience is done so right, especially in "Earthbound". (with audiophile headphones I hear slight crackling in bass at the beginning, hardly noticeable but I recommend the master guy relook that beginning. I am only saying this because I want to hear this album used everywhere. Sometimes you have to be extremely nitpicky) The synths are managed with style. The artist pays close attention to the timing of everything, making sure to bring in what is needed. Nothing is ever overdone. Nothing is ever underdone. Its brilliant. The pads silently but surely build a landscape for me, taking me into a completely different world as mentioned above. Close your eyes and take a trip into a pure, talented, clean experience. This album really speaks to me. I think the best club music out there not only moves but encompasses. The way each gooey, chill vibe sneaks into my brain has a certain feeling that makes me want to get up and smile. I want to move all night long, surrounded by friends. This is something that needs to be played in clubs. It needs to be played at parties. It needs to be played everywhere. This could make a really fantastic live experience, and I will be looking for a performance from the artist. I don't care how long of a road it is to get there, I am going. This music can bring people together! It represents the spirit of every raver, with love in every beat. It isn't just music. It's an art form. It's communication. Feel it. Enjoy it. This album really is something else entirely. Download here on Ektoplazm (MP3, FLAC, WAV) - Review by FatKidWitaJetPak (Nick Sumbles) - Special Thank to Ektoplazm for the download bandwidth. 10/10

Astroschnautzer – Twå Album: Twå Artist: Astroschnautzer Genre: IDM, Glitch Label: Freudian Slip Records When: May 2013 Size: 161MB License: CC Price: Free and Donations Track List: 01 - Yks 02 - Twå 03 - Weird-O Komp-O 04 - Plan C 05 - Vapaaehtoinen Taidebiisi 06 - Worm Song 07 - Walkman 08 - Muukalais-Dub 09 - Aalto 10 - Korton 11 - Dögge 12 - Bb-Dub 13 - Psyko-Paatti 14 - Snapper Tuna 15 - Aa:n Kahvila 16 - Space Humppa Although definitely interesting, slightly entertaining, and unique, the clattered clinking and scratching of Twå has a lot of room for improvement. This glitchy full-length album contains a series of seemingly random tracks that go all across the borders with drum n bass, ambient, glitch-hop, IDM, breakbeat, and lo-fi techniques. Experimenting with different styles, Astrochnautzer takes us through some glitchafied, drum-stepping, bit crushed projects. There are a few really sweet tracks on here, but at the same time there are some that should have simply been left out. Focusing on the classics with a boost of his own originality, the artist brings some chilled and mellow personalities with an added spray of freshness and downright quirkiness. The balance between the two, however, is unenjoyable at times. There needs to be more structure and organization to the “uniqueness” captured in each track. Snapper Tuna, for example, leaves a well balanced, smoothly progressive, and satisfying taste in my mouth. Worm Song is one of the tracks that does the opposite, based around a series of unfitting sounds that can prompt headaches. To the artist, I would strongly recommend taking this album as a great learning experience. It seems to be highly experimental, dabbling inside never-personally-done-before ideas. It is always good to try out new things so you can improve and expand your style. In fact, I urge people to reach out for new innovations. In this case, I suggest walking away from most tracks in this album, honing in to the better compositions. Snapper Tuna, Plan C, and Korton. Stay away from too many voice samples, bit crushed wobbles, and unfitting synth zaps and drum smashes. Everything needs to be done in moderation, as I like to say. Keep your chill like attitude and progress your tracks to have more meaningful climaxes, leaving the listener craving for that certain sappy synth. Spend more time crafting your sounds and it will be very rewarding. Think of it like this: Every sound is a puzzle piece. Put each sound together to form the perfect picture. If you put together pieces that don’t fit, the picture won’t make much sense. Keep up your hard work and good luck with your glitch experiments! 6/10 Download here on Ektoplazm (MP3, FLAC, WAV) - Review by FatKidWitaJetPak (Nick Sumbles) - Special Thank to Ektoplazm for the download bandwidth.
