Oh that makes sense. How is Bulgaria? My parents were from Ukraine (so not that close by still eastern region of europe) and moved out after the collapse of USSR.They tell me that it got pretty bad.

Why mention how there aren't any bumps? Is it because there's lots of pot holes or something?

Man, I have several books that I need to get going with that I haven't touched in some time. But I am mostly reading Federic Bastiat's The Law. Some interesting stuff. I plan on getting some more books soon, when I have some free time from college and work.

I'm guessing you are playing around with it. I can't wait to get my paycheck and then get a synth.
-
I don't mind you posting your song at all. I really enjoyed that song. Great job on it.

That's pretty cool, I'm definitely putting that on my list of things to check out. Have you tested it out? If you have, how is it? Edit: So I checked out some videos, man it's pretty good. There are some differences, but otherwise it's very similar to each other.

Ya, those 303s/etc are seriously overpriced (in my own opinion). It would good if they remade them so that the prices would go down (hopefully).

my favorite euro trance/euphoric/emotional tunes..
desysko replied to afgin's topic in Other Electronica
Man I do love normal/euro trance as much I love psy/goa. Though the modern scene is filled with lots of garbage and folks making house and calling it trance. Argh. Any ways, there's a lot of good stuff out there, regardless whether some of you guys like it or not. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGz0NQPo3Rw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrXvzMs4tME -
I've heard Goa stuff early in age but never knew what it was. Fast forward to earlier this year, I get introduce to some "strange and weird sounding trance" by some folks. I got interested and I was recommended to listen to some Astral Projection. So I got Trust in Trance 1 and later Man With No Name's Moment of Truth.

I looked up some stuff on the Sub Phatty earlier this week, man does it sound good. I've been looking info and watching vids on several synths and there are just so much out there. The world of music is just amazing.

Thanks a lot guys, now I am so interested in this stuff but I know that I won't be able to get all of these toys for a while. Argh, it's torturing but it's awesome to see what folks can do with all of this stuff.
-
Of course you would want it in Bulgaria.

Ya, his stuff is pretty good. I've been an avid listener of trance, but I never explored goa/psy (don't know why, just never did) until I listened to J00F's album, got me interesting in psytrance and the rest is history.

Why the microbute? Mostly just for price or is there more to it that will give it more advantages in the long run?

Ya, I've been looking at the Bass Station II for a while now, and some other folks I've talk to about this recommended it. Synths amaze me so much ever since I was a kid, I remember my dad bought a cheap one and I was amazed by the amount of sounds it could play. I've recently remembered about them and looked into it again and my love for them has reignited. Thanks for the tip!

Lyctum's new album is very good. I would say it's better than his debut. Definitely can hear a difference, has more melody(?). Padmapani already mentioned Ovnimoon, so there's that. I know have some other ones but can't remember them. That's probably my biggest problem, staying up-to-date with the scene, since I've been listening to older stuff. Frost Raven released an album in April, but I've only heard his "Far Away from Home" album and that was pretty good. I know that Liquid Soul is to release an album soon. How about John '00' Fleming? His album isn't just progressive but it had some good tunes. If I remember correctly, when I spoke with Loud they hinted they may release an album either later this year or next year.

Well happy 12th anniversary!

How expensive does these stuff get? I'm planning to get a synth for a hobby, and i'm just planning to start small for now. But some of the prices of seen are insane, or at least for me.
-
Oh man am I excited! Just wondering, will there be a download link for this (and other) shows?
-
Currently going through the Platipus Records, lots of good tunes. There's a big difference between 1,2 vs 3 (probably because they changed the style of the album art, haha).

Yo, thanks for these links. Always welcome free stuff. -
Akshan's album was pretty nice, very relaxing. Vibrations of Life is probably one of my top 10 albums of this year. His first album was pretty good, but but when I heard this album, right away I knew that he has done some good stuff.

What's the other release that is coming?

Man, listening to Afterhours FM (for PSY DAY!) is amazing. The place looks pretty tight. Reminds me of some old or small towns we have here in MInnesota. I actually live by a town that has lots of older stuff, pretty chill.
