those in power here know who I am and surely understand that by my past standard my responses to you should be considered very restrained and polite. Also, my father is an architect of 50 years and he is very insulted by your post comparing his work to interio designing. I also dare you to tell a butcher to his/her face they are similar to a cook. It won't be pleasant. Stop trying to right all the time, you sound like my 2.5 year old.

doesn;t work on iPhone which that post was done on while i was taking my morning pooh.

No I did not want to correct you, I wanted to make you aware of the difference. And that is great but you still fail to see the difference. Anyway the first foto looks like crap. It would be overly stimulating and difficult to sleep in. Nothing peaceful or harmonizing in it at all. You really don't like people who think differently to you do you? It's becoming very obvious why you have no friends or life outside of this forum.

progressions = professions

An architect is a person who plans, designs, and oversees the construction of buildings. Interior design describes a group of various yet related projects that involve turning an interior space into an "effective setting for the range of human activities" that are to take place there.An interior designer is someone who coordinates and manages such projects. They are completely differenct. My Dad was an architect for 50 years until last year. He know nothing about interior design, when he built his new house last year he had to hire one. My sister-in-law is an interior designer .and knows nothing about actually architecture, there is no way in the world she would be able to desing a building from scratch to enable construction but she can make a finished houseook freaking amazing. As for you? I dare you to speak to me in such a way to my face you rude insecure prick. I can guarantee that if you did you'd not be able to speak again for a very long time with a wired jaw. I never said you stupid. I merely pointed that you were confusing two completely different progressions. Maybe do some research on something else than Boris Blenn for once. You know what I didn't think you were stupid until I read your reply to me but hey now I know you are.

And yeah Radi. Architecture & interior design are completely different.

My wife has designed the look of the upper two stories of our house. Mostly original art her father left her when he died. Nothing amazing, but heck it's free. I've got a 5 year plan for the basement as its turned in to a semi-pro recording studio. First up is having it sound proofed professionally. Then for decorative art work I've commissioned a street art crew to do a mural, then there'll be the buying of new studio gear etc. right now all my work is done in the upstairs office which is far from inspiring nor it acoustically good so I work on headphones Our cabinet maker did an amazing job of the house so ice commissioned him to do my work desk for the studio including monitor stands & a lovely built in euro rack modular case. All up in looking at spending $50-60KAU on the set up. Although adding the gear dream list closer to $100K. It'll be for my work & also bands/artists/producers can rent it for a fee. Currently the hard part is getting the uber wealthy old prick neighbors & snobby council on side I guess forgetting myself & testing the death metal album I worked on last week at full blast at 3am while my son was away for the night didn't help :lol;

Old school albums that could use a Remaster
Balance replied to Penzoline's topic in General Psytrance
While this topic is about mastering I was talking about audio engineering in general, there are ways to significantly improved bad recordings. And yes I can drop names as well, I spent 6 months with a very famous bloke who worked on Queen, AC/DC etc. and by the way a lot of the mastering in Metallica's work was/is rubbish. I've heard the original recordings of And Justice For All & they sound so much better than the rubbishy finished product. Hence why many are waiting for a possible rework as well. Oh and I've chatted to Collin a lot in the past. I have learnt a lot from him regarding this style of music and how to produce quality sound. Currently though I only work with progressive techno & house music, much more fun and work. -

@HLFORoom I disagree. In the last two decades of working with some amazing audio engineers I have seen the right engineer rework poor recording in to sonic masterpieces, as I have also seen the opposite occur as well. You just need as always the right persons for the job. That's the hard part. I mean Avatar Re odd reissues some old stuff remastered by I think Avi Algranati or someone and it was pathetic but the work Tim Schuldt & Colin OOOD have done reworking old gems has been amazing. -
last time I was in Goa was in 2004. Even then I found it a pretty sad scene sound wise, but the vibe was a+!! Don't expect much & enjoy the culture etc. you won't be disappointed. Yes Aussie scene is pretty rubbish. If you're ever in Melbourne send me a PM. Can say hi.

Your favourite goa trance label (golden years 1993-2002)
Balance replied to chaoseed9's topic in General Psytrance
Flying Rhino as I always felt they released quality & supported a progress in sound. Dragonfly as well, their sound just takes me back to the dusty dance-floors & warped nights of the 90's. -
well all my friends who've been at the last few Goa seasons say the same thing sadly. It's why I gave up going to Psy gigs a few years back here in Australia. Right now I'm enjoying a resurgence in the melodic techno sound in that scene & go to those gigs (Digweed is playing in a month & he always plays great melodic techno). Isn't like Belgium the place for Goa Trance?

Yup for almost a decade I found techno & house boring & commercial. Now I'd grown up and can't at enough. Still not a huge vocal house fan but still enjoy it. Now-a-days in finding anything over 130bpm hard to listen or dance to as there's not much really groove and funk to make me dance.
-
Yup miss the lower bpms which is why the current deep house & progressive scene has me more interested than a lot of of what's been release in psy/goa recently. Saw John Digweed do 6 hour set last year, and Danny Howells do a 7 hour set. Was very cruisy & actually found some quite nice psychedelic moments in the selections, more with Howells than Digweed. Despite the fact that Elysium & I have never for along for decades online, I always enjoyed his tunes. A few years back when I still DJ'd I was asked to play a deeper sunrise set on a beach for New Years Day and I mostly played Elysium's work. Was surprised how even some of the older punters & dj's were asking who the tunes were by. Sad that such talent IMHO never received the interest it deserved. I know my 2 and a bit year old son enjoys having a dance to lower BPM tunes but I I put on anything above 145 BPM he tells me to turn it off lol. Kids have good taste IMO.

I am not a liar but I do admit that in the past I have been like this and I should have known better. I have sent the Cds now and once my finances are sorted I will reimburse the finances to you. It was actually 66USD not eur. Anyway once you get the music please let me know, it usually takes 2-3 weeks from Australia to Greece. And please don't lie, I paid an extra $20AUD out of my pocket for tracking so I will see if it is or isn't delivered. i also added 2 CDs i think you will enjoy on top of the others as way of apology. I have finally learnt that I'm useless at this selling thing, only good at buying, so I will not be offering any more sales after this. Good day.

It's a wonderful collection of old tunes but for me. n L.S.D., Voyager 2 & the final track are the gems. The other tracks i find good but not realy blowing my mind. Voyager 2 reminds me of the period i spent in love with the early Draginfly Records sound, for ages they were the only vinyl I played out in '90s. Really deep dusty tribal sounds that suited the Aussie outback for sure.

Sandman - End Of The World (original version) Xenomorph - Obscure Spectre (although I don;t enjoy it so much anymore) Wizzy Noise - This Is The End The fiorst time I heard L.S.D. was a live gig around '97 that Posford did & that still is the moment I was swept from extreme metal in to electronica. Prior to that i listened and dj'd to a fair bit of acid house/techno/trance but it wasn't serious interest it was more following what my friends were in to.

no limit. The speed of a musical piece does not define the music. There is fast and slow version of every style ever played. If a track is well performed and composed then it's a good track.

You're wrong Rotwang. Simply because I'm Mike D or The Journey Man Project or Leather Face or the other plethora of names. Whilst my latest trading effort has gone awry I'm over trolling, but it's nice to know I'm not forgotten nor probably forgiven. I troll Isratrance instead. And it's so much more fun there than it ever was here, I actually just enjoy this community for it's musical choice, kind ppl & happy atmosphere. Isratrance is a filthy hole & has become my whore house. No one cares to ban & getting a certain Danish bloke with a known foul temper in to a lather is fun there. Anyway I'm sure to be banned again here now. But I've pretty much behaved this time & enjoyed it. Love the new Goa scene -
i love his music but the prices for his albums second hand are ridiculous. I would love for examp DAT or Suntrip to reissue a best of collection like the BPC one remastered. Maybe a second disc of modern Goa acts remixing them?

how many days of music do you have (digitally)?!
Balance replied to Drosophila's topic in General Psytrance
Goa Trance/Psy Trance/Modern Goa - 4.5 days Tech Trance -1.5 Days Dark Psy - 1.6 Days Steve Roach (only ambient on my phone) = 1 Day Acid (house, tehcno & trance) - 1.35 Days I have no prog or full on or twilight.Heavy metal there is plenty but currently on a hiatus as I findit does nothing for my chronic depression & anxiety yet I cannot bring myself to sell any of my 3000 heavy metal vinyls -
I made accusation that were founded on whispering from sources I should have not trusted. I am sorry to Tal & to anyone confused by my misinformed comments. May peace find everyone.

I haven't heard the first one, fingers crossed on the reissue but this one for me is a nice package but I find that it doesn't captivate my attention as much as other old Goa/ Psy. I find I tune out to this and it becomes more background music. A great release but from what I gather the first volume would be more my style. Intrigued to see where a third will go as well. I do wish for some of the really darker side of the old scene like Schuldt, Xenomorph, Cydonia, (later) Psychaos & Sandman to get reissued more than what Anjuna Records are doing.
