I don't know & can't find. Interesting though. I know ppl who are in to everything (including stuff that means I will need share anything orally with them) and they satisfy their fantasies easily. Anyway you sound a lot like I used to be. For ppl like us it's not easy to enjoy existence, bu if you push yourself to do things just because you need to fill in your existential hole you'll find a lot more in life.

Just gotta say this is a really gem. I've pointed heaps of ppl who ask what psy trance is all about to this. It's a constant on rotation for me. I've got a 4 hour dj set too play later this year and am almost tempted to just do this as a mix!

Musically I mean. All that is wrong with this scene musically.

Well I've heard some real pro's who after 2-3 decades can come up with some wonderful work using only samples in a couple of hours but Neelix is just really ugh. Too me he is all that is wrong with this scene.

Look I can respect what they do from a technical point of view. They has talent & obviously ppl enjoy their work. I just find their sound boring. It doesn't not come forth to me. It's something that fades in to the background and doesn't focus my attention. And yes it's funny isn't it? I mean I loved for example Tantance 6 from the moment it was released but I remember back in '98 so many ppl I knew in the scene found it to be horrible noise and not psychedelic at all. Taste is so subjective, and what I find boring you find interesting. Maybe Loud live would convert like Space Tribe did back in the 90's. I cannot stand Space Tribes studio work but live he has nailed it all 20-30 times over the last nearly 2 decades for me.

Go find a girl or boy friend depending which way you swing. Seriously get out with someone else. They will not like Goa or Psy but maybe they can teach you how to enjoy life without rehashing the same topics over and over! Or make some model planes or I don't know. Do a short course in metal work or read a new book or buy some alcohol & drink yourself in to oblivion or go to a trance festival or buy a months worth of porn and wank. Just learn to enjoy more of life. It's not hard. Just do it!

Whatever subgenres Loud & Neelix et al. belong to. Most boring mindless drivel ever. And I me a boring as in the true definition. Neelix played a few years back at a gig I went to. I actually fell asleep during his set out of sheer boredom. You have to be on drugs to enjoy that over compressed rubbish.

Dragon Twins - The Acid Man off Cronomi Records. Such a nice old school acid vibe. Not much else. Was hoping Stashbag 5 would have an olds book vibe but if it's got Loud on it I'll pass. One of the most boring groups to be released in this scene. Yawn.

Been thinking the same. I'm gonna get all the CDs but would love the option of getting the digital download as well

Yeah these ones have been the bom Alaska for me. Bringing back such me worked of dusty dancefloors, good druqks & free love from cute chicas. The good days when there was plenty of PLUR for sale & it was all about the scene man! Lovely mixes. Wish the music still had the vibe.

Hull0 Psynewsaliens! I am from Melbourne, Australia! konichiwa! Anyway I've been involved in various musical endeavors over the last 2-3 decades but have always had a soft spot for psychedelic & Goa electronica. Pleasant to listen to but never been keen on producing it. My early anarchist punk years call for me to produce acid techno & dark drum n bass as well as minimal DnB like Metalheadz early style. Enough! I have lots of CDs, some digital downloads & I dj in my basement when bored. I stay at home looking after my 2 year old son, cook, clean & do the washing. I also study a Diploma of Audio Engineering one subject a trimester. Very slow. But more out of interest than anything. I am a generally nice person but with a quite bad anxiety problem can be hard to be friends with in real life let alone married to but I'm getting professional help unless our government continues to completely screw up our health care system. This place is pleasant and whilst like most forums lacks in heavy activity, there's enough to keep it interesting except I do find that Radio604 lad tiresome at moments. May eternal joy, peace and happiness be with you always and don't forget it's the journey not the destination that counts. Oh and have a good time all the time! Peace out!

used to spin these in to each other a lot back in the day always had the floor pumped. Preferred mixing the London acid sound to Goa, simpler music mixing wise but just as powerful

I"m interested in drumm n bas & metal. Live in Melbourne so postage shouldn;t be too much of an issue. Would also be keen for some psy trance, mostly looking for forest style stuff for now though.

The secret is just a game we play with my family (my wife's parents have both passed on a long time ago) as a bit of fun. Keep 'em guessing. Yeah I think it provides good balance. I see my sister who has 4 boys & it's chaos!! Thanks for the good vibes. My little 2 year old lad already loves sitting for an hour or two on his Dad's Moog synth tweaking it so I reckon got some good tunes coming in the future lol!

Just had to share as we are keeping secret for now but today my wife and I are very excited to find out our second child will be a girl. At 20 weeks she is a healthy little things growing strong inside my wife. We had only ever planned to have two children but if number two had been our second boy we may hae considered trying once more for a girl. Now we have a son & a daughter I feel complete and happy. I'm very intrigued to experience raising a daughter. As the stay at home parent it'll be a great opportunity I think to really see the differences in both sexes. Anyway. No-one here probably cares but it's new that has thrilled me and I believe such news should be shared somewhere. I'm now curious to see what she looks like. Mixed Asian/White girls are usually quite cute.

Because ppl have better things to do with their lives. If it was the European summer here with its festivals & the ease to travel to other countries I'd have bundled up my kid n wife & headed off forgetting this place for sure. As it is it's freezing cold (at least not so rainy) here so not much to do except sit online and be happy.

After 1 night I had to say that the Atlantis is amazing. That is all.

Love the Anakalouth track. T2MU summed it up perfectly. First time I heard it I just thought it was the perfect space opera track. Anyway, about mid-way through I find this gets a bit messy I that the tracks sound somewhat simple. The K.O,B. track in particular just has some irritating sounds that do nothing for me. Astrancer is the absolute best IMO. It is long, deep & penetrates subtly. Like good sex. I'm serious. It just rubs the right way to give an eargasm like no other. Real smooth modern trance music. Would love to hear more like this. All in a great compilation of psychedelic trance, after a few months in finally coming around to the Cronomi sound. It's not modern Goa but to me just >mostly< quality Psychedlic Trance music.

just saying that "An Expert On Humans" has the kind of annoying sampling that alway turned me of Space Tribe & ruins what is otherwise a completely samazin track. Would love this to be reissued minus the stupid samples. And it is so bad i will not apologise for callin it stupid. It really upsets me when quality music is ruined by poor sampling.

I'm really glad of the devleopment in whatever Schuldt is doing since Blacklight Moments. Maybe he suddenly realised the music does not need to be so flat sounding? I spent the last month listening to every one of the Suntrip compilation & can only say the difference is hug from the B.M compilation onwards. It really smack your ears like WOW! OMG this sounds amazing compared to any of the rest.

I Dreamo Of Wire or whatever the modular docufilm is. The hardcore version. Actually I'm an hour in as it goes fro nealy 4 hours and with a 2 year old and heavily pregnant wife watching anything is in very short segments lol.If you love synths get this stat!

Got my Doepfer LC9u, Intellijel Metropolis & Atalantis & ES4 delivered just now. Will plug it all in tonight when my son goes to bed for the evening. I'll be posting pictures etc. once I get my entire 9u filled over the next years probably. The top shelf being just these Intellijel units then filling the rest with Make Noise & a few Doepfer utility modules. After that who knows? I'm considering another 9u of mostly The Harvestman with some Deopfer utility modules as my main digital type synth for the more crazy stuff & maybe a 6u of Synthesis Technology stuff for drones and more soundscape work.
