One month only in Tokyo? This can be costly too. Anyway, I'd suggest spending a couple of days at a hot spring inn near Fuji Mt. (Not in Tokyo, but quite near). It's really beautiful and relaxing there. And if the weather is good, you can enjoy a gorgeous view of the Mt. while you take a bath. It's not that expensive either. Shibuya is horrible, too crowded and many tourists there, and nothing really interesting IMO. You can also ask Abasio, IIRC he's been living in Japan for many years. Cheers

I like Cosmic Call, Acid From Above & Return From The Different Dimension the most. Good album, although most of the tracks sound samey.

Me too. Anoebis, you can make some more packs I second that

I wasn't aware of that. It's so horrible. I'm reading about it now, thanks.

I believe the part I quoted from you might be an exaggeration / distorted view that we westerners often have about other countries. Can you give an example on this? Maybe I'm missing something. Actually quite often my Han Chinese students have complained that students from minority groups receive favourable treatment at the high school final exams, as they get extra points because they belong to a minority group, giving them an advantage to get admitted to their university of preference. Also, I have travelled to the northwestern part, as it is the hometown of my girlfriend. There are many muslims there and they have their mosques. They are free to practice their religion. But there have been a lot of terrorist attacks there from islamic extremists, killing a lot of innocent people, and they need to be suppressed. Otherwise war might erupt. Terrorists are not followers of another religion. I live in the southeast part I was surprised to see that there are quite a few Christians and churches here as well. Some of my colleagues and students are Christians.

Chinese President Xi Jinping gave a nice speech in Switzerland at the WEF this week. You should check it out. Unlike the USA, that has been continuously waging numerous wars all over the globe, as far as I know China is mainly trying to grow its economy and cooperate with other countries, instead of bully them. The westerners should finally stop sticking their nose to other countries affairs and tell them how to run their country, what is right and what is wrong, or that they should adopt democracy because it is the best system. In many so-called "democratic countries" there is no real democracy anyway. I came to China last year for work, and while I can't say I enjoy the lifestyle here, people are friendly, peaceful and seem quite satisfied from the fact that their life has improved dramatically over the last decades. I hope that China's global influence grows even stronger, we might actually see a better, more peaceful world.

I don't get it. I found this album pretty terrible. Didn't enjoy a single track. I can't believe the ridiculous prices I saw on Discogs and that so many people like it. I wouldn't take the CD even if someone gave it to me for free! Not joking. Well, each one to his own taste I guess.
-
Well, I can't share most folks' excitement about this CD. I usually don't like samples (at least extensive or over repeating ones) and some of the tracks are ruined by them (Expert on Humans, Holocron). BUT the sample in Kapala is fkn hilarious and the track is great, my favourite here! E-Mantra is good too (typical E-Mantra sound) and New Born is alright. The rest don't do for me; they're not bad tracks, just not my cup of tea. Some tracks lack focus which makes it hard for me to follow till the end and I lose interest. Especially Goat Man and Synthesized Not Yet, are too long and fail to grab my attention, no matter how many times I've listened to them. Actually I like People Walk Funny much better!! (maybe I'm the only one) Just my two cents.

This is really enchanting... So beautiful!

CD1 is awesome! Salt Lake, Ganymede, Friends From Tau-Ceti, Shadow Dance, Caught In The Zipper & Two Faces are great. I particularly enjoy the rawness in Friends From Tau-Ceti. So many of Doof's alternative mixes have been released, which I find superfluous. Doof is great but I'm not interested in listening all those inferior mixes. CD2 left me a bit disappointed, since CD1 is fantastic and I expected a bit more. Here I enjoyed Rain, Sound Is Solid and The Great Bear. The Full Monty is too long and uninteresting, it left me bored. So CD1 is fantastic, CD2 is just ok for me. A great effort all in all, and, let's not forget, for a great cause.

Fireworks, Sannjasin, Levitation Device & Sugar Shock are very nice, especially Fireworks!

Musicians who you wished released a full length album?
Kitrinos replied to exotic's topic in General Psytrance
And I thought you will release the Lapsus album -
It is nice, slow ambient trance, very deep and floaty. Some tracks are more interesting than others and I keep enjoying them after multiple listens. But this music can be boring, as the tracks are very floaty and don't have much progression. This album is good for background music but it can also be an enjoyable listen if you're on the right mindset. I think Veda and Svarog's Morning are my favourites.

- Off topic: Well said HappyHorse. I agree that the other label owners should be more receptive to criticism. There are CDs that I like and dislike from all labels. Suntrip is great and it's the label I have bought the most CDs from. But guys don't say that people are afraid to write positive comments, I don't buy that. Just accept the criticism and move on. And for the love of God, please don't review your own CDs, especially a couple of days after the release date. It's really lame. (Mainly referring to Mars and the review of RA - Earthcall). I believe this kind of attitude might attract ill-natured criticism and even trolling. Just my opinion- As for the album, I have only heard the samples and I won't listen anything more until I buy it in the next few months. Crossing Mind is great and I don't want to spoil my ears, this will be a blind buy

Predator is by far my favourite. A masterpiece. I only don't really like Transcendent and Expand Consciousness. The rest are good.

Groovy, I like it. Thank you JaraLuca and Neogoa!

It's been on repeat a lot lately, still a bit hard to listen the whole album in one go, but all the tracks are good. My favourite might be No Way Wrong. This album is a psychedelic bliss.

Relax guys, not everyone buys the albums on the first month (me) and I personally give the albums several listens and let them sink for some time...
-
Terminal Fantasy and Lunatic Transfer are probably my favourites

Very nice album indeed.

I think it was the only artist goa trance album that was released in 2007. Correct me if I am wrong.
-
Totally agree. Deviant Electronics - Catacomb is on the light side. It's just too long and the first half is quite boring...

I disagree. This album did bring something new on the table. Their sound was very fresh and unique. I haven't heard anything that resembles Goasia. It is full of energy and very danceable. IMO by far their best album. Favourites: Space Travellers, Octagon & Sunrise, but I like almost all tracks.
