    Thx mallenaut. I am sometimes trying to put some setar or tar in my tracks, somtimes santur, as i also play a little bit of classical persian music. till now i didnt realy manage to do it in a good way, cause it somehow didnt fit in my story of the electronic music and the sonic properties of these instruments are somehow difficult to fit into my style. but maybe one day i will find a way to do it that it makes sense. of course i only gonna do it, if it feels and sounds really good in the endresult...

    It means World/Universe, both :-) "the world of qiu" in the end would mean the same. "qiu" is the shortcut from qiumars / kiumars, my second forename. the albumtitle just describes that i am sharing a part of my world/universe with this album. in english it sounded a bit weird to me as an albumtitle, so i chose to give it a farsi title.

    I like the composition. its an unuasual track, but composition vise for my taste much more interesting and trippy than many other things i have heard. i like how the track develops from kind of alien talks or so into epic melodic finishing. very well done. the mixdown need some work though.on my labtop speaker e.g. i dont hear the kick at all. ive put other speakers then and realised, that ur kick is only moving in the deeper frequencies. this can be improved quite easy if you choose or make a kick with a bit more klick sound as well. same goes for the bass, also dont hear it well. i hear that ur kick has a lot of tail, so a lot of deep bass after the initial hit. i dont know if u cut the subfreqs in ur other instruments, so the bass has enough space. i feel its a bit muddy in lower part of the spectrum. the hihats are a bit too loud as well. so i think with a bit of improvement in these points, the whole track will soundquality wise sound much more clear and better. and for the actual composition of the track i think its very nice as said. its a creative and individual track not feeling like a million other tracks. which is quite rare and i appreciate a lot.

    it probably sounds strange cause the scale doesnt exist in western music. as said its from the indian raga (melodic mode) purya danasri, so an indian "scale". my album was more on the faster side of my music. i actually also have many older slower unreleased tracks... in one point i will surely try to release them as well.

    Here is a new track of mine. This time its not psytrance, but its got the vibe :-) It is in a 5/8 rhythm, so the groove feels very different from most other electronic music.

    hey branefreeze i am actually thinking about putting the mastered version of this one to my next release.. not sure yet though. anyway it will take a little while till the next release, but it will come for sure. surley one day i will put unreleased tracks for free download as well.

    Hello :-) I recently uploaded an older track of mine to my soundcloud. give it a listen. with its 136 bpm its slower than most of the "ritual to the light" album. as it is unmastered you might have to turn the speakers volume up a bit. greets

    @manuser good observation... the muses rapt surely is one artist, which has a similar taste, understanding or whatever of trancemusic. his music touched me a lot. i love this vibe :-)

    Thanks for this nice review and the carefull listening. it hits the spot quite good i find. my music doesn´t work the same always... as the tracks are long and the stories sometimes evolving slowly, its needed to take your time to listen to it. i even specially enjoy it, lying on the bad and let myself flow in this music. usualy it takes me to intensiv lucid journeys after a while.

    wow, thanks man. this is a nice feedback. and yes indeed, i never realy listened to what people sayed... was like this already in young age in school ^^ time is moving and shaping, creating temporal opinions... but some things are independent from time. going with trends is a dangerous thing... i think there would be a lot more nice music, if people would not focus so much on what sells the most easy in the dancefloor. i think many people are insecure and are in a deep search of being acknowledged by others.. i have the feeling, they dont even realy allow themselves to break free. its sad somehow, cause there are infinite options of how to make music, also of how to make intensive dancefloor music... but sooo few options are realy used or created... most music is made with exactly the same principles. it is a big pitty, cause everybody has something realy beautyful to show i believe. anyway, i will connect to the ektoplazm FB page... :-)

    hey bill, where did you got that from basilisk? at ektoplazm homepage or in another place? id also be happy about some recommendations for good music by someone reliable...

    honestly i dont find that track that bad. the soundquality is not perfect, but the track itself is at least kind of innovative and has some conent. i find that there is a loooooooooooooooooot of much worse music nowadays. i mean this kind of music, which is like a fabricated mass-product which all sounds EXACTLY the same. there is so much music with no content at all.. music which is basically just a very strong bass and some unimportant sounds around. but the soundquality is good, why its played everywhere... why i find it even more horrible.

    I like this album quite a lot. And it makes me happy, that there are still some people focusing on making music in the old style... well, old but new. I will surely follow what's going on at Neogoa.
