these guys are so talented its hard to pick a favourite

didnt meet a lot but the ones i have met while travelling - most of them i didnt like them they were not very respectful - they were stealing in supermarkets and bragging about it like we are so cool this is the way you should do it and yeah there was this guy he was asking all day about a beer here - or do you have some bread i got nothing ... and this guy had a good job - i got pissed off and kindly but firmly told him that he got a job and me at this moment i had no job yet and was living on my savings - after that he never asked anything anymore - oh and my god that guy was taking one shower a week are you kidding? you could smell it and he had a girlfriend i am not sure how she could stand it haha i agree there are a lot of paradoxes about these kind of people and that is probably the case with other kind of communities as well

when i buy a CD i buy it to listen to it with good headphones at home - and i dont turn the volume up too much anyway good music doesnt need to be played too loud and really anything can work on a dancefloor so thats not saying much dont worry thats what we do - download and then buy or not buy - at least in my case and here obviously no buy i dont think ill ever buy a cd that features 4 different remixes of 1 single track and then 3 remixes of another track unless they are extraordinary and varied or if i have lots of money lol or maybe they just write personal reviews of albums in the review section here i joined recently here i love the review section and i notice plenty of positive reviews including a few i wrote - so maybe actually you complain about the negative reviews - that sounds more like it lol back on topic - after several listens boundless nervasystem remix is a solid opener thanks to nervasystem touch (rarely boring) imba apparently is the only one to notice the subtle melody in the original of alien pets and recreate it here in the intro of his remix - i like that melody and thats probably the most interesting alien pets remix here as stated above jagoa remix is indeed interesting enough so thats three tracks the rest is subpar - mugen is better than the original but still nothing special the worst remix is from trinodia - it sounds like the exact opposite of an inspired remixer half of this cd sounds quite bland so no buy for me there is much better music around

sums up pretty much what i think i was not even impressed by mugen even though i have to say its better than the original but still its a bit boring (dont like the original much) here the nervasystem remix is nice actually and maybe because it opens the cd - but then i agree why chose only 3 tracks when prana released a lot of them how about - kollage - scarab - indigo - primal orbit - the earth kollage remixed by nervasystem could be interesting

My post was initially a reply to OP "Filterias "Lost In The Wild" is one of very few masterpieces of our time" - i replied to disagree and I explained why OP wrote "nothing has come close since as far as artist development and maturity, album to album goes" - i disagree and i explained why i dont think filteria ever made a masterpiece - i explained why

i was exaggerating when saying filteria has no talent - i should say filteria doesnt have enough talent someone in page 1 said what i wanted to say with better words then it is a matter of perception - one would say he produces his music with 1000 layers over the top because he likes it this way and has the talent to make music as good as ra - 9th (if he wanted to but doesnt want to) - others (me) would say he makes in your face aggressive goa with random / forgettable or non-harmonious melodies because he is not able to create clean harmonious melodies and therefore he goes the easy way - at the end of the day it is a matter of perception i was talking about talent and gave ka-sol as an example because his music sounds too random sometimes for me to say he is really talented - but i like most of his work there are talented artists around and sometimes i dont like their work - this includes koxbox and infected mushroom - whether you like or not you can hear the musical talent in these guys but usually when talent is there people will recognize it - juno reactor, ra, dark soho are according to me very talented - and they all sound very different to each other i wish we could have new artists who really take time to make proper melodies and clean music if you guys are filteria fans then i understand you take a defensive position - it is normal and human after all but is talent that subjective? maybe and maybe not - after all we can overall agree beethoven was more talented than justien bieber - therefore objectivity can still exist when it comes to music

well i like some artists and i am willing to admit they are not particularly talented - ka-sol is a good example you cant really say its true musical talent (have a music teacher listen to ka-sol and you think he will say this artist is talented?) as for filteria - since the beginning he tried to copy pleiadians - if you have enough talent you dont try to copy anyone or at least if you do so you succeed and make something even better which is far from being the case here again please listen to ra - 9th and you will hear something magic very harmonious and personal - definition of music then listen to filteria... my view is if you have enough talent then you dont need to put 1000 layers in a track to make it sound like it is psychedelic

so have you guys all forgotten about ra - 9th? there is no goa album since year 200X that comes close to it - this is way way way above any filtera ra has loads of talent - filteria sorry but i cant hear any talent - portamento is a bit better than filteria and not bad at all but still a bit ordinary if you compare with ra - 9th which is magic goa trance
