  1. Almost 6 years anniversary already I don't know what to say about my feelings: trying not to think about that I cannot fly to Croatia just over one night Looking forward to captured material, though: hope there will be a lot of videos and recorded live sets. Stevo has promised to record Multiverse 2 there!!!
  2. Suntrippers in English, Neogoa Records and of course my own group Goa Trance Lovers Finland which has 512 likes tonight at its half-a-year b-day :-)https://www.facebook.com/goatranceloversfinland/?pnref=lhc Edit 19.2.16: Anoebis asked about groups and pages are not groups, oops. There is one group that I value above all the others. It is a secret group of Finnish psytrance organisations, a type of a calendar where organisations will report the date of the upcoming event at the moment they see it is coming, even though there's prob no other info yet but the date. This is very good because the scene is small and thus overlapping events can be avoided. Thanks to @ Paul Eye I got an access to that group last fall It is awesome also because this way I know about the upcoming events way before they go public
  3. Oh well. I am bad in definitions especially concerning slower psy/goa. Had to go back in Artist News And Label Announcements because when this baby came out in June I posted it because Hado Rec label manager does not have psynews account, that's what I was told. I used the tags psychill, chillgressive, chillout, ambient, downtempo. Hado Rec web page describes this album e.g. with the words "Compilation has a deep space feeling and employs multy-layering sonorities to create an amazing depth on good substantial ambient sound with hidden sonic levels and vibrations". I'd gladly learn more what exactly is ambient so go for it @ Paul Eye
  4. I am not sure if album artworks have had this kind of topic before (prob yes) but I didn't find a separate thread so I start this because there's lots of premium artwork out there. I challenge you to present the first one that has made an impact on you. Here's mine And, oh yes, artwork does matter. Imo the most when you don't know the artist or the label so well, the art can make you to pick the release up, of course
  5. Allrighty then Thanks for clarification.
  6. So why are the admins so quiet about the rule specifications aroused by me because of the withdrawn track. Too sensitive of a matter that rules were broken or what?
  7. I am looking forward to hear all the mastered versions. Thanks again Psynews for this contest. To me it was meaningful enough to be promoted on my Goa Trance Lovers Finland page as well as a couple of shares in groups. A few disappointments were that I expected even more answers from forum members and that JaraLuca took away his track and that Neuropa didn't get enough votes (Pauli's track is good). Maybe next time it should be made clear that after the dead line the tracks cannot be changed meaning also that not totally removed. I intentionally left my second vote for JaraLuca to be there (pm was good..thanks @ Paul Eye for the idea..I noticed the pm Rotwang sent) because I used time to listen all tracks thoroughly and listing wasn't a piece of cake so I had made up my mind for JaraLuca's second place and nothing was gonna change that. I was prob the only one to place that track so high but JaraLuca got votes from quite many others also. Just a hint to all producers: ambition close to perfectionism is good but also listeners' opinions matter if the track is available for public ears. I was angry that the track was taken away
  8. I agree. It was a hard decision to leave this out of my top 15 of 2015 because the year gone was such a bombastic one with excellent release following another excellent release, but this album is very good and I have been waiting for someone to make a review but @ Alek: your comment is a nice mini review
  9. Top 15 albums/EP's of 2015 (I evaluate only those I have bought or downloaded free) V/A The World Beyond (Neogoa Rec)It can be a life changer. 2. V/A Hearts Of Goa (Submoon Rec) This was a year of Filipe Santos in many ways and no matter of not-so-top-notch mastering this is the best release of his of 2015. 3. Amithaba Buddha-Angels Trumpets (Submoon Rec) 4. The Faithealers - Until The End Of The World (Neogoa Rec) The legends decided to release old material and the album is very theatretical and cerntainly unique and stands out of any masses: it became also personal through connection to Finland and promo in Back To Mad radio show preliminary to Neogoa 5th Anniversary in Helsinki 5. Lunar Dawn-Kolovrat (Neogoa Rec) The side effect of falling in love with The Gate of course but ties also my to personal history in the Balkan area with the vibes I loved already in the 90’s. Along to the storytelling aspect, production & mastering hardly can get any better than it is on this album. 6. New Born-Nothing but A Title (Cronomi Rec) So much shivers and a feeling I don’t have to much change the spinning music for long; the trip just holds! 7. V/A Sadhana (Neogoa Rec) Finding a new genre: forest! Throughout so weird and turbulent and turned my nest around. 8. V/A Creatures Of Carnival (Amaya Productions) Uff...I don’t generally like darkpsy but this is a huge catch. Others agree, too: 95,60% with 50 votes atm @ Ektoplazm 9. GoAtma-Sword In The Darkness (Neogoa Rec) Neogoa gone nitzho and in what a way. Best artwork by Richpa in 2015 taking into consideration that Kolovrat sketch was made by Jbc-Arkadii (Kolovrat is the best artwork of Neogoa in 2015). 10. Proxeeus-At The Mountains Of Madness (Neogoa Rec) Still remember the first times I heard Ayahuasca..the vocals are just pure unearthly and hypnotic and the rest of the album sold itself to me in the wash of Ayahuasca. 11. V/A Tales From The North (Troll N’ Roll Rec) An album that I found on the basis of the artwork and in tail-water of V/A Sadhana. Very “local” to me: can associate with Swedish trolls. Some spoken Finnish in vocals. The label needs def more attention: they are forest professionals and doing a great job. 12. V/A Prana Remixes (Suntrip Rec) Good job Suntrip! 13. V/A Aurora Sidera (Suntrip Rec) Another good job Suntrip! 14. V/A Locomotion (Hado Rec) Ambient album of 2015. 15. GoaTree-Akasha Connection (Neogoa Rec) Brought Order to My Chaos and lead me to book GoaTree to my party. Label of the year: Neogoa Rec Producer of the year. Filipe Santos Masterer of the year: Deimos Soundlabs Artwork of the year: Oscar Bodin's cover of V/A Tales From The North Top 3 tracks of 2015: 1. The Gate, 2. 80 000 Pounds of Crude (Denaris aka Filipe Santos), 3. Angels And Demons (The Faithealers)
  10. Tracklist: 01 - Kreiskegelstumpf - Frustum Calling (148 BPM) 02 - Third Eye Of Monkey - Ch'Eh'Oc (150 BPM) 03 - Strix Aluco - Naked Monkey (148 BPM) 04 - Draghul - Ixtra VaganZa (152 BPM) 05 - Yogh - Wormhole Adventures (148 BPM) 06 - Chudl - In The Middle Of Nowhere (151 BPM) 07 - Tohuwabouhu Project - Into The Djungle (154 BPM) 08 - Biomekanik - Welcome To The Underground (164 BPM) 09 - Ohm In - WorldWideWeird (148 BPM) Released by Amaya Productions http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/creatures-of-carnival An artwork caught my eye at Ektoplazm. I have nothing to do with the label but posting this as a listener, so that this awesome music doesn't get drowned amongst a busy holiday season. Very much worth checking out if you like or occasionally like dark & foresty
  11. Votes. 1. Cybernetika - Prismatic Reflection 2. JaraLuca - The Giver 3. Exelization - Synthelixin 4. Profetia - Rage Against the Crashing 5. Xenofish - Made Out Of Stars 6. Neuropa - Seven Circles 7. ShySun - Noir York 8. dSk - Biosphere (Psybient-Soundtrack mix) 9. Colin OOOD & Goa Travellers - 100 Billion Neurons 10. Cardiac Arrest - There is no try, just do!
  12. Yeah. She could tell about her involvement and past 18 months work with Lucasfilm only after the world premiere. When she got the e-mail and job interview invitation from Star Wars she thought it was a joke. Why they'd not use some language professional she thought. Here a red carpet picture https://www.instagram.com/p/_TZd5moub1/?taken-by=helloimsaara
  13. @astralprojection: Deep enough knowledge to cast a vote on this type of poll (me and Asperger) Btw..glad to see you back after a break
  14. Doesn't do any harm to post early but for me I need to see GoAtma which is gonna be on my list knowing already + that I am getting a new CD player hopefully in a week so that I can listen to some untouched CDs from 2015. What caught my attention on your list @ Richpa is Submoon's Hearts Of Goa. It is gonna be on my list, too, but I thought I was the only one to appreciate it because it has been barely uttered anywhere in public, and in private talks it was "terrible" quality. Well, I see behind the quality in this case and glad you do, too @Richpa
  15. I might have some sort of Asperger traits, too. Never diagnosed by a professional but knowing myself by this age + info through my former medical education + info through internet has provided me the amount of knowledge that I diagnosed Asperger traits myself for myself. This hyperacusis quoted is one of the main things. I have hard time to stand especially wrong music..actually I go bees, like bees flying inside of me. Or with family I can completely flip if my relatives even TALK about "wrong" music (Pavlov's dog reaction). I feel like throwing up + the bees. Have you seen me often giving negative feedback to a release? Nope. Because I cannot listen to a wrong release from the start. One reason for my excessive hyping is that good sound really takes me to a trip to the extent I suppose few experience. With Asperger traits it is not only hyperacusis but I won't go further here. Overall I don't consider my "traits" as a sickness; for me it is a deviation from "normal" and actually have had more positive effects in my life than negative, e.g. a good detailed memory + almost dangerous optimism (I see the world only a chance + throw myself into situations just like that). I casted a vote on this thread to be autist, though..funny, partly true.
  16. The news broke this week that the alien language was created by a Finnish young unknown woman from a rural town, Sara Forsberg, who got Lucasfilm's attention by this v-blog video
  17. Uff..boys..look at the fat lady in the middle and save your complaints! Btw..all tired and happy, all that's important!
  18. Neogoa Records 5 year Anniversary Party in Helsinki 20.11.2015: 6 psynews members+ 2 party crew ppl From left to right: Panu Siipilehto (brother of Profetia who made the flyer), Profetia, Lunar Dawn (Kristijan), Penzoline, Anu Katariina, GoaTree, Paul Eye, Janne Koskinen (lights) Psynews members who were in the party but left before 5 a.m. when this pic was taken were Proxeeus and Nebula Sic! Profetia and his brother gave me the best feedback ever of organizing this party by wearing Children Of Bodom T-shirts
  19. I am jumping and almost tears in my eyes because this GoAtma sound took me instantly out of post-party depression. Music always makes the thing! I can already say it will be in top 5 of Neogoa 2015..no..it will be in top 5 of all labels. Much said because this year has been crazy with brilliant releases emerging like happy mushrooms :-)
  20. GoaTree needs more attention as an awesome music producer because that's what he truly is. One thing is to make a release to listen and the other thing is how that release will perform on a dance floor from big PA. The last part is his talent if something is missing considering e.g. the opinion of the reviewer here. You ppl should have seen how Finnish crowd welcomed him in Neogoa 5 Year Anniversary Party in Helsinki 20.11.2015. It was as wild as in Israel in best nitzho parties (not been in israel but seen lots of vids from there..) I asked many ppl afterwards whom they appreciated the best in the line-up. They said it is unfair to tell because all the line-up was performing suberb (Profetia, Nebula Meltdown, Proxeeus, Lunar Dawn and GoaTree) but when I kept on asking and pressing a bit GoaTree stood up! Congrats GoaTree from the "Bodom" of my heart
  21. I need to copypaste here what the sleepy part of LD (Sasa Precanica) is saying in facebook as a feedback: A song changed Anu K. Rasku life, and she became what we never had before,a true and dedicated fan.She shoved us what many people couldn't make in their lives,to follow instincts and feelings no matter what will happen! She decided to organize a party, for the first time and she gave us something that most of organizers could just learn from her. With help of Matti Aronen, awesome guy with also big heart organised Neogoa records party, where awesome musicians like Janne Siipilehto aka Profetia shoved us how goa is played alive,Kristian Nebula took us to the meltdown point,Jerome Lesterps put an acid in our mouth and Lukas GoaTree Bartosek made us running like a hunted deers! And all the people there, thank you for dancing, you are the energy! The only thing that was missing are two dear friends Mirza Arronax Aljić and Ivan Parić,the one who wears the crown of Neogoa Records!Be sure to follow Neogoa, beacuse it's the hottest uprising label on the scene! And once again thank you Anu and all involved, you made a mark on our hearts!
  22. Thanks so much @ Oopie for the link I will read it during Christmas holidays I think the whole Neogoa crew is interested in this also now that Finland has a big meaning to us
