another straight banger from his Unreleased album. To me this sounds like the best of his 2 first albums all condensed into one good track. but, that style isnt really my cup of tea to be honest.. Its a bit overkill, too melodious, too in your face, maybe it works on a dancefloor im not sure. But, its a banger nonetheless. Its just way too much Nord Lead for my taste 😛 from that era this track is much better imho, he playes it live alot too. and thats another thing, the tracks all sound the same. just different melodies. from that time period. so thats a bit of a bummer. but i dont blame him at all. that is what was hot at that time. tons of Nord Lead old school goa leads.

Getting to a discogs page is not helpful as far as sharing music. And I'm assuming you don't want downtempo. And you also don't want Scandinavian progressive. Maybe some clarification is in order and some proper examples

im really bad with memory. but did we have this topic? i think he matured alot after his first 2 albums, which i personally thought was a bit out there, with a few exceptions. Rotate To Vibrate was one of them I thought was really good. But I never thought his first music was any good, it was too over the top, too badly mixed, sharp on the ears, not that great. Oh how that changed. my 5 tracks from Filteria has to be 1. Perpetually Delayed Voyage 2. Filtertraces 3. Birds Lingva Franca 4. Wormhole 5. Amnesia Reaction What a guy. Completely turned goa into NEO goa. He is a pioneer. If you dont like his music thats fine. But he really did create a whole new genre. He was first at it, together with Khetzal, at around 2005. Good review @acid being I have my own bias and that's the cleanliness of the mix and the quality of the sounds. I have a habit of ranking this higher than the actual music sometimes. For example, Wormhole. To me that sounds incredible from a sound design standpoint while the music is great. Anyway, thanks for the great review 😊 As far as his music is concerned no matter the quality I'd say the following is his best Birds lingva franca Amnesia reaction Rotate to vibrate ze remix And his best one: perpetually delayed voyage. This is where the quality fully meets the music. Look forward to you listening to them, as there's much to explore of filteria just like there's much to explore with ap and Simon.

Wouldn't call it rubbish per se, there's some cool stuff there. But I agree he didn't really start to make excellent music until daze and some earlier stuff like birds lingva franca (2008) and Rotate to vibrate (ze remix) (2009)

my thing is not just the music but also the attention to detail as said by oopie. The sound quality is just not there, its not meticolous, its not all the way there simply put. Also the writing is again, hastily written. I dont get consumed by it what so ever, and everytime i listen to Cosmology or Daze, those details always gets me.. I can find the enjoyment of those details to last a lifetime.. Even if its just how a certain kick sound, or a certain hihat is mixed - those details will really carry it into oblivion. But here Im struggling to find such details if there even is any. Theres _ZERO_ hate coming from me here, only slight disappointment... ive been listening to Moonshine since 1998 and Filterias stuff ever since it came out, and its been 20+ years, you just expect more, thats all..... i mean no disrespect to either of them. I just want them to know that I expected more. And thats YOUR fault. Youve already set the bar - how can you go down from that?

I adore both Cosmosis and Filteria. Theyve made some of my favorite tracks. They are up there with the very best. And they seem to be great peoples. I really love them alot, but this record is just cheese ontop of cheese. Not sure what they were thinking, as they couldve made it a true classic. Albums like Cosmology and Daze of our lives are some of the very best the scene has ever heard. And this album is what they come up with? Nope, that doesnt work. Imagine filteria and cosmosis. Well, you dont have to imagine. Here we are. But its bad, its boring, its bland.
