  1. ive listened to alot of grey area and this is their best so far. found out about them in 2001, on the Global Psychedelic Trance VA vol 5 i think.
  2. is tatsu female? wow. thats awesome! im all for feminism and equal opportunity and all that, but lets not lie, goatrance is predominantely a male genre. so its very nice to see females endulge in discussions about goatrance. sure you see alot of girls at parties and festivals, but most of them generally are hippies types, and dont spend that much time on the web discussing the very genre as us other nerds do. so kudos tatsu for being one of these ladies. btw, good time as any to ask: how did you get "pussy addict" and "mad old ones" ? I can guess but rather have full explanation it has always sparked my curiosity.
  3. i think that track would be easier to recreate than sunshine tbh. i agree, though, MFG is VERY hard to copy.
  4. impressive. and i love the metroid series. Super Metriod and UFO: Enemy Unknown two best games ever made.
  5. is amazing. check out this track. starts at 08:20 or something. (fist track great too) its called Amphibia. For me its like, top 5 psychedelic ambient tracks all time. it really really captures me and actually causes lsd flashbacks. but luckily im in a good mood so i kinda trip a bit off of it instead of just having .. well , negative reactions. nothings real anyway.
  6. ambientwise - top 10. these two tracks are incredible. if you dont like these, seriously, we have a problem.
  7. i used to do that too, back in the day. my fav track to snooze too (well, a few of them) was Doof - High on mount kailash, and grey area - amphibia (one of the single best ambient tracks ever, in the top 10 with tracks from solar quest, aes dana, aural, and all the greats, if you havent checked it - nvm ill just post a youtube ) hmm.. unfortunately i cannot find it on youtube :/ edit: so i made it to youtube. youre welcome. the Amphibia track starts somewhere in the middle, but the first track is equally amazing
  8. you need to do that ASAP brother
  9. youre so wonderful. beautiful. so damn beatiful. lounge music at its finest nah actually my fav lounge track is definately this beauty. sure its not too loungey in the sence of being ambience, but still, sweet triphop and a little step, not too agressive this one is in my top 20 all genres (except the break which im not too fond of)
  10. actually i just adored them in the soundtrack to the horribly realistic film by Moodyson based on all real events, this track was just hauntingly good serving as soundtrack. after that i didnt pay too much attention to them cause i didnt think they could top that, especially since i had imprints of that terribly good movie when i hear the track is a strong bias there.
  11. skip to 25:18 here is the original for reference i took a year to chop up the samples and made them mine basically, altering the entire song structure and everything. so its not just the sample and just added drums and shit. its actually chopped up pretty intensely and it took a year to make it right.
  12. Yes, Genesis is almost a marvel at this point, its so beautifully produced and nothing has been done like that since. yet when it came out it was "too much" or whatever it was. I told myself as my next project, I would try to emulate the sound of Genesis. but thats probably impossible. Why? and Sunshine is likely impossible to re-create, especially now in the software Era. And I dont even talk about the melodies and themes, just the mixing. its like everything went thru a MFG - Project Genesis Filter.
  13. nice mix! a bit strange though and it makes me wonder a little what kind of sorcery is behind this but im too tired .
  14. yummy @03:12 .... is the floor boiling like lava? walls melting and faces morphing yet?
  15. same here, first i heard gamma, then i explored further, got trancespotter, snakey shaker etc, all dl'd and burned to cds hehe i spread it to all my friends proudly
  16. Lol def A.I. anyway what u said about genesis is spot on, also my fav from them by far, and i recently said almost what you said, almost exactly, few months ago in the mfg thread sunshine even captured me back when i was in love with ap, just cause it was in that mfg/ap megamix. dont remember year it came out. but didnt venture deeper into genesis until years later.
  17. i love tatu, their earlier stuff is close to my heart but those tracks werent.
  18. recursion can you just give me some clarifications here. im intelligent enough to hold discussions and arguments, but im a that much of a sucker, to be attracted to this track in particular? i mean for me its deep, sad, emotional, i wanna hug the guy - but to you its abominable and gives you nasty reflexes. How come our spectrum is so far apart? what do you know i dont? and your other suggestions didnt even TOUCH on the sadness and deepness of I pray. And I wanna let you know this is a FRIENDLY discussion we are having.
  19. im sorry you dont like it. i think its an epic climax and a very nice way of tweaking the acid.
  20. happy times!! vibrasphere top project EVER! wait, masen, are you part of Vibrasphere? who are you then? cant believe ive been in presence of such mastery all this time and didnt know it i mean, i collect EVERYTHING you do and I dont have one single bad track. not simon or AP could do that, ever. i mean just look at my posts and ull see ill rant and rave about vibrasphere all the time. Even composed a "best of " for new listeners in the thread.
  21. congrats on getting your CD published! amazing coverart. No seriously, another 10 points for the excellent trolling (you even have half psynews believing in you NOT trolling, thats the most amazing part)
  22. ^^ MFG indeed, took a very long time for me to appreciate also, for similar reasons. Very alien sound (especially Genesis) and ahead of its time a bit. Hallucinogen though, my first experience was Gamma Goblins 2 - had NO Idea that was the same genre as Space Dwarves which was my current fav at the time. Thought it was some trippy acid fucked up track, that gamma goblins 2. It has since release grew on me to the point of being his best track. and I TOTALLY hear it differntly now than then. Back then all you heard were the very very wierd melody/theme of the track, and ofc the "fucked up" sample at the beginning. All I knew was that it was amazing on shrooms and any other drug for that matter. Really challenged your psyche. It was like a 1v1. GNOTR - Klunk is similar for me. Amazing track, prob their best, but at the time of release again, was very wierd track when used to something like Space dwarves and Spiritual Healing, Yahel, and AP. edit: i mean back in 98/99, who the hell expects tracks like the Pigs in Space album, Gamma Goblins 2, etc, when u used to the soft spoken melodies of AP, Yahel and others.
  23. how much music u got? my ALL list is roughly 9998 tracks. (excluding those I aquired in 2016 so perhaps 11000.) yup. takes 4-5 sec to loadup in winamp
