Ovnimoon - The Call of Goa / Invocation
astralprojection replied to Tom!'s topic in General Psytrance
Ofc not, Richpa. I did not mean to dictate anyones opinion, I simply stated mine and fully respect yours However while I agree its not groundbreaking I dont think it needs to be either, but its great goa I apologize if my reply was not fully understood as just my opinion, and not actually bashing anyone elses, while I can understand how it could look that way. So no hard feelings! -
Stud Stunners, Cydron and True Freedom are wonderful suggestions Stud Stunners is one of them all time classics too, btw. Always a 10/10 I remember when I first tried ReBirth, the 303, 808, 909 Emulator. It was really awesome to be able to mimic sounds like this. When was this... Hmm... must've been in 1996/1997 or something! Yup! Thats where it started for me... in ReBirth toying with 303 melodies... and I didnt even know yet that Goatrance was Goatrance, I hadnt found the genre yet I had many Goatrance tracks but had no clue that they were. My understanding of music and genres were not high prioirity as a 14 y/o Sadly most amazing Acidtrance are Hardtrance in nature, and not Psychedelic in a normal sense of the word we are used with, regarding Goatrance. For example: Ozaka Oz - Real Nightmare. Which is Hard Acidtrance. There are many such wonderful tracks too. Although not for this thread So alot of Solar Quest and Chocis Chewns are out

Have we had this topic in a while? Im refering to tracks like Gamma Loop - Eclipse Bassline Baby - Altered States Solar Quest - Im Off To Goa! etc. Which are your favorites? Mind you, the genre here is Acidtrance, and not Acid influenced Goatrance like for example SUN Project - I Feel - which of course is my absolute favorite Acid filled Goatrance track. (I think I might have created a similar topic before, but im not sure:P) And since its custom on psynews to post youtube videos; Ill post the track that got me into the genre, and one of the first Psychedelic tracks Ive heard. It sounds just like I made it, in the future, in a parallell universe. Its that close to my neurons so to speak

WTB Bassline Baby – Computer Controlled EP
astralprojection replied to TimewarpFreek's topic in For Sale/ Trade
I can understand your search, that is one epic piece of material. Psychedelic Acidtrance at its finest! On par with the likes of Solar Quest and Gamma Loop -
I thought it was Assurance too, but Insurance fits the bill aswell psynews, friends, music and gaming is all the MDMA I need tho Which is lucky considering ive done ... well Im not going to mention any amounts, but way too much, during the days. So Im glad to be finally after 14 or so years recovering fully in my synapses and neurons but damn, took a long time and not worth it kids

Yeah thats a really funny title. Imagination can literally create anything and it could be the very medical insurance he is refering to.

They could literally nerf everything 25% and she would still be awesome:) This is her, so pretty Loling at myself over my extreme geekyness

Thank you for watching my video! you mispelled wonderful She is incredibly op though and every other hero feel underpowered due to it. Before I loved Jaina and Kaelthas but now they just seem like a poormans li-ming. I dont complain though, since im so happy playing li-ming im fine with her being op^^

Its chillout vibe, mixed with hiphop, mixed with electro, mixed with trance, mixed with 80s style sounds, just a mishmash of sound-waves. I hope you like it, Ive worked on it for over a year now, and I think Im finally happy with the result. Still without a pair of monitors, so I rely only on my logitech "hifi" computer 5.1 system (which actually isnt bad at all) and my very nice pair of Roland reference monitor headphones - I think this is the best Ive done so far and I hope it is liked! Enjoy it! And Thanks to Tangerine Dream for making the beautiful song, so that I - decades later - can sample it and re-create it and give it new birth, new meaning, and new purpose. Music is such a beautiful thing. Everything I produce is a tribute to either someone or something. This of course is to the great old Dangerine! And of course, the sample is taken from the track titled the same; and its from a great 80s movie classic; http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094138/ Three O'Clock High, That I know some of you 30 plussers out there will know of http://www.aeap.se/priv/tdream-bonding.mp3 http://www.aeap.se/priv/tdream-bonding.mp 3

Clipping!? How worse is it?
astralprojection replied to Novoice's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
Excellent post, thank you! -
Dont have that in my collection actually, on my HDD, listening now on youtube, and honestly, I dont recognise it as Ive ever heard it before Awesome Ill give my verdict later. Edit. Ok its later. It was freaking awesome man. Really really nice Something reminiscent to some of cosmosis' downtempo. Edit. The sample used in the beginning Ive also used heavily during the years in my producing as "here goes a genereal psy-sample" That documentary has tons of awesome quotables. To use them now though, would be considered cheesy. But I dont care, theyre still great sampleware. 'Did I just invent a new word? Sampleware?

astralprojection replied to MrAnarchy's topic in General Psytrance
Ill check it out most definately - if a guy like Fabien puts the name together with such legends. Not checking him out would be a complete act of disrespect. -

Hypnotropic is a fucking beast

resurrected! Ive known about these dudes for a long time but never gotten fully into them as Full On and general Psytrance has been generally speaking overshadowed by Goatrance. Either way, Wizzy Noise is by far in my top five Full On artist, and tracks like "This is the end" is something only GMS and 1200 Mics can dream about Which tracks are your favs and give me a nice heap of suggestions now please. New tracks just as well as old tracks. Pleione is another amazing piece of work but honestly I like their pure Full On more, go figure

Lol. Ok. Forgot its fucking 04 am here.

Psytrance artist that you love 100%
astralprojection replied to MrAnarchy's topic in General Psytrance
The fact that Ive never heard of Hol Bauman before and all the other artists on your list are greatly beloved - is puzzling Its like "whats wrong with this picture". Although Shakta was never in my favorites. -
Just now listening to The Creation. Such amazing goatrance! Definately top notch quality production from MFG. SO many classics I dont consider them a competetor to Astral as many tend to do. I just consider them awesome, and in no relation to anything in particular just like I dont compare astral with blue planet or something. You get it. Btw, my fav will probably always be either Deep Relaxation or the genesis Album; possibly Why?. But I dont think Ive heard one single BAD track from MFG yet, from their entire old school period. (And I say "yet" because Ive not explored all MFG tracks fully yet, in all shapes and forms to experience goatrance - that Ive done with so many other of my favorite artists. For example - riding train, using drugs, dancing, playing games, you get the idea. Most MFG Ive only heard "in passing" or "in the background" unfortunately - except for a few that struck out extra - during the time I was completely mindblown by stuff by AP and Hallucinogen, sadly MFG became overshadowed and underrated. Luckily though, Music never dies and its never too late to explore an artist, and MFG is one - Chi-A.D the other. Incoming Starkraver comment regarding Chi-A.D ":O WHAAAT?!?! OMG YOU MUST LISTEN" ^_ ^ Btw, thats my next musical project. To emulate (to TRY to emulate) the sound of Genesis. The approach and the trying part - is of course the fun. And whatever comes out of it, will be interesting and will probably not sound like Genesis, but will instead have that feel that it is greatly inspired by it. Ah, nice. I just gave myself fuel on the currently put out fire that is music producing.

Which version is your favorite? There are off the top of my head the following: public domain - Operation Blade black and white - Blade new order - confusion (the original) and countless others, at least I know at least three more cheesy eurotrance/dance versions. Aquagen has one, for example. But nonetheless, the 303 line is Iconic for the Roland TB303 and there are a few good tracks with it, of course the original and my favorite, the Public Domain one. Thats actually pretty catchy even though its highly cheesy.
-
I am definately interested, Richpa. Go ahead and send and Ill do a proper reveiw of at least the Imba album.
-
resurrected! my favorite is probably squidgy atomica. But most of their tracks are generally just "good" and not spectacular. The doof remix of that one track i forget its name, is completely classic too, and that legendary VA its on, together with the legendary dj mix that starts with that etnica track i also forget the name of Feeling very wierd ofc is also good, but AP remix is better.
-
that feel when uve accidentally had the default psynews skin on for a long time, forgot about it, forgot even more about it, then realise it and shift to deviant and its like a visual orgasm you even feel your pupils dilate in relaxation

I searched google but didnt come up with a proper transwave thread in the general forum. Which are your favorites? Mine is without any doubt at all times Vision Quest. Voyager is also top five. I dont enjoy Deedrah that much though, and Im quite angry that his Lepton Head remix was titled "Deedrah Remix" because the sound is not Deedrah, its most definately Transwave. That is something that has always bothered me greatly. Also - Draeke asked me to ask him if I ever was to want to ask him something; (yup, semantically correct sentance:P) If there ever is lost or stashed away Transwave stuff - I would pay dollars to see it on DAT.
