I know ive critized you alot in the past, and it has been justified in my opinion: this one is great. I really like it. Nova Fractal is my absolute favorite Goatrance producer. His sound is often unmatched, and rivaled only by a few. The tracks often tell a detailed story - of both the artist and the creation itself. This is the best yet, from Nova Fractal. And thats not saying little! His album debut was amazing, and its filled with well placed tracks, and not a single album filler. Connect was however, my favorite track previous to this release. But this takes the price. As good whiskey ages and becomes better over time - so does natural art aswell. Music is no different. Some artist though, only decline after their debut, but Im happy to say that Nova Fractal is not one of them. He only becomes better. Mystery of Life is a hard hitting wonder. I just cant believe my ears. How does one come up with such tracks? The creativity and the talent is like I said unmatched and rivaled only by a few. The track goes into the absolute soul, and core of goatrance. It touches deep within and makes you feel true joy and love. Its such a perfect track I feel like Im struggling to find the words to explain it. The melody creation is true genious and Im marveled by the beauty. It makes me reminiss about what I love about goatrance, and I soon realise its a feeling Ive not had in a long time. And thats a shame. But it doesnt matter. All that exists now is cosmos, this track, and happiness. This track is MDMA in a song. But not even that. Its not narcotic or "druggy" its clear, clean, and truly coherent happiness, that you dont feel wierd about afterwards, but instead quite the opposite. The Wheel of Time continues where Mystery of Life leftoff. Mystery of Life opened up your mind and Wheel of Time continues to burrough down deep throughout your inner universe. The melodies in this track is amongst the best if not THE best ive heard yet. Again it amazes me to be alive at this point in time, to be able to hear this track. Its extremely rare to find such music, and I can honestly say Ive been a music fan (all genres) for almost all my life and still consider this track to be one of the best tracks there is. Not even for Psychedelic Trance but for music in general. I cannot wait to own this album and I realise the review might be a bit hasty in time, but since Ive had the pleasure of listening to Wheel Of Time for such a long time I feel confident enough to review this. And while Mystery of Life is new to me aswell, I barely had to hit play on that one to realise how good it is and that its better than anything he previously released. Im still struggling to put Wheel of Time ahead of this, or "more favorite", but Wheel of Time has without a doubt created something truly otherworldy and should be recognised as the One track of goatrance. That said, Mystery of Life is my current favorite, and listening to it on repeat for hours on end STILL makes me wanna listen to it for hours on end;) This is something spectacular, and while I was extremely happy with the latest Mindsphere album - this just completely blows everything Ive heard lately from other artists away. When I heard Feelings by Artifact303 the first time, I had a similar reaction - and have not had this reaction until Mystery of Life and of course Wheel of Time, but like I said - thats not even in the stratosphere on how good that is. Mystery of Life will steady climb the charts for me and its slowly reaching Legendary status and its not even released yet. The Ephedra remix is great, but its not unique enough to justify its own chapter in the Nova Fractal saga. It is however, a great party mix, and a more dancefloor friendly approach, to another perhaps cosmic and more profound approach, that the original brings. This is an essential piece of art, and I wont even give it a grade. 10/10 doesnt do it justice. This is better than anything. This is the very soul of Goatrance, and the absolute best.

unreleased and secret of course! while i love it, its a shame he went that route in terms of soundscape. it sounds too generic and crisp. but i dont really mind. i will love mwnn just as dearly even if he started to put out rubbish. but thats very unlikely to happen. i also love to see him live, he is so humble!

really interesting tracklist. very interesting. will have a listen in just a moment. edit: and this is why listening to something from a really good dj is fun - doesnt matter if you heard the tracks a million times; hearing them in a well put together and skillful dj set is a brand new experience. im especially looking forward to z-plane sunrise, kitchen sync, and star above parvatti. very interesting tracklist indeed!

yeah i thought it already came out. and i wasnt very ecstatic over it quite honestly. same with the dimension 5 and etnica/pleiadians re-releases. etnica/pleiadians are different though, and i was ecstatic for very different reasons than just musically.

the fact that you use software makes me even more impressed. that new one was wonderful too! alot of aes dana influence in the bassline, and i like it alot! also love the way you mix your percussions to sound like they are from a 808 and 909. it is indeed obvious that you didnt just start making music yesterday. really refreshing sound and ive never heard anything sound like this before, that fact alone is big enough to spark interest - but the fact that you are incredibly talented and should have a record deal makes it over the top. im just a bit angry at psynews for not appreciating this as i am 1:31 is a complete winner though. Just wow! definetely suitable for a release and a full lenght album in this style man. pursue it cause you will get it!

thats not my scientifc opinion though, thats just my belief. and it seems perfectly logical due to the fact that just before death- in many scenarios- the body and the brain will release massive amounts of dopamine and the brains naturally occuring opioid- to signal a calm and easier death. This happens for example just before someone freezes to death, dehydrates/malnourishes to death, and is reported to happen before strangulation aswell - whether it be due to suffocating from drowning or otherwise. Of course, rapid onset death such as slug to the head from a gun, would logically not cause any of these symtoms.

omg finally and what an amazing piece of artwork!! yes, same glow on the font as always, and a cheesy PS lens flare but its ok Wheel of time is one of the best goatrance tracks in the history of goatrance, and its quite a wonder for such a track to come out in the new school era. thank you nova fractal!

yes, ive since realised this. and thank god for that. i dont wanna imagine psynews without that limitation thanks for the suggestions i will put them in my "to check out" list/folder regarding vision driver, im happy you liked it. ive learned that rotwang has a very good taste in psytrance. i think though - most psytrance these days tend to be too much fullon, and "too crisp" sound 'quality'. When Access virus TI made an entrance, you could hear it, as many artitsts ran alot of mixing thru that synth, and its evident in many many tracks. These days I think there is a similar trend going around, although i cant pinpoint a culprit - but most psytrance sounds alike. goatrance is starting to go down that road too, but the nature of goatrance wont allow it to get TOO similar, though, which is nice. few genres are as complex as goatrance, and its just no way most goatrance will sound TOO similar. but psytrance and especially psytrance with the rolling 3 note one-note basslines - tend to sound extremely similar. Sometimes, even older psytrance and fullon from Talamasca and Electric Universe - can sound exactly the same. Compare the psytrance by MWNN from the epic and genious album Interstate Highway - with his latests sound. They are completely different as even MWNN has gone into the vortex of "too crisp" 'sound quality' and its no longer easily identified as MWNN. Same symptom that happened with the virus, then stopped happening for a while - then started happening again, and even a gangstar like MWNN with his latest stuff does it. it takes away the soul of the music - when the mixing is too perfect. luckily as said goatrance cant go into the same destiny as its too complex for it to sound perfect. and even when it does sound perfect, like artifact303 and nova fractal - its still unique enough cause few artists can even make it work. like literally, you can count them on one hand. psytrance and fullon especially - but even dark psytrance - just sounds way too similar these days. Psykovsky, for example, sounds very unique due to his amazing talent, even though his music is horrifying, cause its so real and "synaptic", he still has unique style in mixing, too, i mean Wishful Sinful is still amazing and i can never get bored of that one, but alot of forest and dark is currently stuck in this strange mixing vortex where everything just sounds too similar, just when virus TI was the hype. Ok, that was one of the most incoherent posts ive made yet. If anyone can make complete sense of it, congrats!

i get it now i think. but what are the mono cables used for? the xlr trs mono cable for example. I learned that it is not balanced but im wondering what its purpose is. possibly electric guitars and a small amp? it doesnt matter though and i know what cable to get now, and it also makes alot of sense what balanced actually is.

great, then i thank you for the new knowledge! my curiosity though, must ask, what if i used mono cables - balanced ones - if they even exist - would/could happen? and this is of course just for my own curiosity. and the followup would be - are there balanced XLR/TELE cables that is mono? microphones are usually mono arent they? so they are exclusively for microphones then, i assume, and not for connecting monitors to an interface. edit: i think i got it - so for a cable to be balanced , with xlr on one end, it would HAVE to be stereo or it couldnt be balanced?

for me, the album doesnt have big surprises - for me the big surprise is the masterfully produced sounds and leads. as a producer i enjoy that alot more than the actual music these days. Which is why i love astral so much, cause of their stellar skills in the actual mixing of the sounds. im fairly bored with this album already - but i still think it is the best production to come from suntrip yet. after that fact - i can more carefully dissect the actual music - and yeah, there is alot lacking in that regard.

yeah i buy that and all that technical stuff, but i guess i cant wrap around the fact that you should use a stereo cable on a mono source, when there are mono cables that would do the same thing. and for me mono means one channel, stereo means two, and i dont wanna use the word balanced or unbalanced as i dont fully understand what it means - other than the fact that it will either have the same impendance throughout- or not, and i didnt think it had anything to do with a cable being stereo or mono. i think im getting it though. and if so, i learned something brand new today and i thank you for it i would have never guessed to use a stereo cable for L, and another stereo cable for R. well, i might have used it but i would always think if it would cause issues, which of course led to my question in the first place. but just to put an end to the discussion and make a final saying in the matter : for both the left and the right outputs on my soundcard - and obviously then also for both inputs on the speakers - I should use a stereo cable for L and one for R - and NOT mono cables?

Also, how can the other channel run in parallell if the input is mono? i think im understanding the concept but im still confused, which may or may not be my own doing But logic says, if the ouput is mono - then the cable should be mono. if the output is stereo then of course youd want a stereo cable. so to your logic, and again im being completely honest in my confusion: what "would happen" if i used a mono cable when you say a stereo cable is intended? edit: btw, i asked about a cable that was mono and it was a XLR - TELE cable and he said that cable was unbalanced, and im confused how a XLR cable can be unbalanced if you say they are not by defintion since its xlr. damn this is probably alot more confusing than it needs to be and i blame myself fully, of course.
