New styles/trends in psytrance you've noticed recently
astralprojection replied to Ormion's topic in General Psytrance
Yea! agreed. I look forward more and more to new albums and comps, as its VERY interesting to see what the pros come up with. A few years back it didnt feel that way, as you kinda already knew what the album would sound like. Kinda. Now its alot more in the surprise area, which is awesome. btw imba, you really ARE imbalanced. How quickly u became a very very skilled goa trance producer, just spitting out great tracks all over the place. Im very impressed -
indeed. Very good to see it back. Even though Im not a Vinyl guy (in another life I definately would be) I still cosider Vinyl something epic, and I truly respect those who have their Goa collection in vinyl. This particular record player just sums all that up, just by looking at it. Truly iconic. Its the tb303 of the DJ world.

hmm I don't think you can speak on everyone here Vera? but I realise you only meant that You don't like it. how come? is it the beautiful melodies. the non growly singing? or the fact that you just aren't into feely music? Im curious. yes the whole discog of soilwork is pure art from start till finish.

anyone else here love the emo oriented metal? i.e very soft, atmospheric and melodic metal, with lyrics about love, pain, suffering and anxiety. like soilwork, kill hannah, dead by april, scary kids scaring kids, sonic syndicate? here are some examples that i completely adore, and i would accept some recommendations in that very style! Soilwork for example is my favorite metal artist, sooo good. Its a bit harder and alot more growly so it should appeal to all metal heads imo.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMh4yWOzVEg

haha that was funny. that you got ripped off isnt funny, but the fact that he is selling a very sought after vinyl for cigarettes? you need to buy some Trollvision goggles.

yes that whole album is very good. especially wishful sinful. if there ever was a track that sounded like how an intense and kinda bad shroom trip feels - that'd be it. -
omg lol. same here. last was the snes. super metroid ftw. I was in London on vacation with dad and sister and bought it at the Virgin store. iirc i was twelve. epic

damn. pc or console? pc here. i cant even imagine how tedious it must be to level to 100. i guess if you focus-level all your skils one at a time it goes pretty fast but thats boring. crafting 1000 daggers for each armor type for example, was never my thing first time around i think i got to about 65 before i called it. by then i had 100 in everything useful, and i killed dragonpriests on legendary in a few free-to-cast incinirates. so it got kinda boring. second time was alot more fun, as i gimped my character by choice, like leveling up only useless skills, while keeping my main skills low. hehe. by the third time around i dont think there is anything left on the map to clear, and ive done all the questlines. of course there are quests left, but yeah, id say im pretty much done with skyrim now epic game though.. oblivion too. cant wait until their next epic elder scrolls game, as i am not a fan at all, of Fallout 3 and 4.

Dark, sincere and not cheesy Hightech?
astralprojection replied to Novoice's topic in General Psytrance
yeah perhaps not. I'm a genre nerd though so in my mind psycore is faster harder darker, than hitech, which can be melodic and happy. -
just recently finished playing skyrim for the third time. finished as in got bored. got to lvl 56 this time now I'm playing a lot of zombies on black ops 3.

isnt psycore a tad faster than high tech? sorta like gabber? in any case i think psycore is the style he wants, too -

huh, i always thought this was neurotrance i.e melodic and happier progressive darkpsy. i guess psykovsky has that nice neurotrance moment in wishful sinful at 06:07 (although it disappears when the evil bagpipe enters like a bad shroom trip) other than that, didnt think neurotrance was a real thing until now. real thing as in subgenre. -
