Possible inspiration for Gamma Goblins
astralprojection replied to Trolsk's topic in General Psytrance
cool find, that is indeed the same melody right there. coincidence perhaps? but ofc, like written above, the good stuff about gamma goblins is hardly the melody. thats like 12,5% of the whole thing at most. -
its very likely its an eventide preset. but yep, its a reverse reverb. most reverb units have a preset like that. i guess the reverb unit has to have lots of lookahead (delay), i guess sometimes its called pre-delay? tbh im not that familar. im sure the more common reverb plugins have such a thing these days. valhalla for example. edit: no, pre-delay is simply the time it takes for the reverb to start. so has nothing to do with it. who knows how reverse reverbs work. ðŸ«

yeah AI in terms of graphic stuff is really a bummer. you can just type in what you want and it will create it. i imagine it killed lots of indie artists with that one the casper thing sounded very nice except bassline and kick. replace that with a darker kick and a machinegun bassline and it would sound really good i think. love all that hallucinogen vibes. but kick and bassline do not fit with it, imho.

Sounds promising. I don't remember about my profile picture, I didn't draw the lines myself, probably found a decent template and then worked on that. But that's nothing compared to your designs they are always looking awesome... Hope you're selling your services cause you should. Also you sound a bit manic ðŸ«

the absolute BEST moment in goa/psy history

I don't get how it's a hard thing to choose.. And stop posting gamma goblins stuff already, that was my best moment, and you posting it is completely off topic and doesn't make sense... Post YOUR best moments.. I mean how is it a hard choice? How many best moments can a person have? -
the absolute BEST moment in goa/psy history

^ well, the best "moment" is surely individual, and subjective. i dont think the question is that strange. its not the best "Track", its the best "moment". maybe its the moment someone had on E or had dancing on sun up at a forest party somewhere, who knows. The amount of special moments ive had with gamma goblins 2 for example is just greater than any other moments ive had, such as the Spiritual Healing remix for example, or Dancing Galaxy. I think its a good question do you REALLY have "too many best moments to count"? I seriously doubt that. you probably have many good ones, but the best? is that really so far out your reach to say? i dunno, just find that hard to believe personally -

how is it a ridiculous question? @Parasphereunfortunately the remaster of hallucinogen isnt something to get excited about doesnt sound better to me, at least. -
@Parasphere very cool sounds. how did you make the lead at 0:54 ? sound just like the trancespotter lead. the squareish bassline is nice and reminds me alot of MFG - peaceful relaxation. in fact i think its even the same key and very similar pattern. those octave jumps are delicious. only thing i dont quite feel is the kick but thats subjective. the watery "snare", aswell as the hihats, are also on point. impressive stuff.

Well thats easy Its the water level in Gamma Goblins pt 2. 3:13 - 4:44 What are your best moments

@Paraspherethat's the earthbound radio edit of Feel the effect. Truly amazing one of the best trance tracks from swe! -
yup i realise that. so just as i encouraged you to do, go back, and keep experimenting. Music making takes decades if one is learning from scratch. @MikroMakroconstructive criticism is great when there is a good foundation, or at least some redeeming qualites. Yes, ones first tracks are usually horrible, best to keep them off the internet or maybe send to some friends at the most. If my opinion rubs people the wrong way that is of course no problem, Im sure theres many here who dont agree with me at all.
