  1. I have nothing to contribute since my exercises are very disorganised as well as my diet (well, at least I'm trying to stay away from carbs and junk food and keep some level of physical activity, but nothing to show off TBH). I've just came here to say that I really respect your motivation and dedication to what you are doing. I like people who have well defined goals in their life. Keep it up! Cheat day food - Russian Pelmeni and Smetana
  2. @Antic I think this is the best Ticon track released to date, but if you don't like prog in general I think you will not like it either. This track kinda shows typical Ticon approach - it is not isntantly fascinating but slowly sucking you in.
  3. Really love the samples, especially the title track I'm not exactly mad about the previous Ticon albums, but their Hops of Hades single was simply midblowing. Seems that they are developing this sound further, good thing.
  4. That's great. I have nothing at all against 100% ITB production, but in case of AP I think it is better for them to stick to their analogue roots (yes-yes, who I am to tell AP what they should do )
  5. I hope the new stuff will be mastered NOT by the same guy who mastered this. This is just horrible, squached to distortion and barely listenable at headphones.
  6. I think it's an OK-ish album, not mad about most of the melodies (some are pretty good though) but like the overall atmosphere. Indeed, the top end is not as ear-piercing and the mastering compression is not as brutal as in most other neogoa releases, however I still find the overall sonic picture somehow flat and uni-dimensional (take AP - People Can Fly as an example of excellently produced goa and you'll clearly hear the difference). But well, I'm not a goa fan but i've still enjoyed this. 12th Hour and Touch a Star I think are the best tracks here.
  7. I'd vote for Antic, I really like his reviews. T2MU is supposedly funny ( I guess, mostly for Americans) but way too biased.
  8. Do you have a mastering engineer, or artists do mastering themselves or hire someone?
  9. I must listen to this album. Brutal mastering with overlimiting, piercing top end, no depth in the sound picture is one of the things that put me off enjoying new goa releases.
  10. Me three Well, ex-biologist, but working in a somehow related field (pharma/bio patenting). And yes, I'm old as a mammoth shit. But untill we call it "Padmapani's law" I have to say that I'm not much into goa.
  11. Drafting a legal opinion Fuck these opinions, it's 23:15 here. I should be with my family now, I don't even know if my one week old daughter had a good poo today
  12. Yeah, I've got these two albums at about the same time, and while U-Recken is still in my playlist and will stay there forever i think, I've listened to He.Art only once. And I generally like both prog and full-on and like Astrix' earlier output. Maybe I should give it second listen but as for now I don't feel any motivation to do so. Same with Paradise Engineering, btw, they are very similar in that they show flawless production but not much fresh ideas.
  13. Ovnimoon loves making his bass far too loud and far too bassy, I also don't like it but this is his personal approach, not the genre standard.
  14. Yes. In fact, everything before Vicious Delicious is worth listening. And VD is worth listening as well when you're sure no one from Psynews is watching you.
  15. Acid, but different kind of it (slower, more proggy, with modernized sound) Your countrymen btw. Best of the best of Serbian prog And Ovnimoon ofc. His albums sound to samey overall, but I think it can be a good gateway to psy for a goahead
  16. What kind of goa you like the most? IIrc, mostly acidic and energetic? Something tells me you may like Electric Universe - Cosmic Experience, it is full-on but with lots of goa infulences His latest is pretty good too, dark (relatively) and intense If you like these, give a listen to Spirit Architect - Anthology My personal 15/10 psy album is U-Recken - Aquatic Serenade but I think you'll find it too mellow and excessively melodic
  17. Me and my family have had several Kias, they are not exciting as "penis enlargers" but good at taking me from point A to point B and not causing any major problems. My current one has now some minor issues with the air conditioner but othar than that all good. They may have some problems with the battery at -30oC, but I'm not sure not many other cars don't
  18. No thread can ever escape the Anu's law This thread was intended for sharing music made by the forum members.
  19. Me. I never was on any psy party (unless IM gigs count but I guess they don't) and don't like dancing in general. Back on topic: byking, chinups, dumb-bells and other stuff you can do at home.
  20. This is as non-psy as it gets but since we have this thread and I have this track, why not Not in psytrance mood now, anyway https://soundcloud.com/recursion-loop/fake-memories Mellow, melancholic chillhouse or something
  21. Thanks! Hope little Alexandra will become a proper psy-trancer (if psytrance will be still around when she grows up). My older son, 6-yrs old, sometimes dances like crazy to fullon and progressive, including my own tracks
  22. Gongrats, Antic! Great! My wife did the same thing 12 hours ago
  23. Duh, I tried to be funny (but failed I guess). It was not my intention to offend or troll this great guy (how would I dare, he is a living legend )
