Honestly, if you look in the review section from 1994-2004 there were more active reviewers (Pit-UFO, Freak51, Seraph, Deku81) Those users are gone now, and they often had short but detailed reviews. I think we lost a part of the reviewing community now when people don't actually review the music, but comment on it.

  7. I think recently Darkpsy isn't dark, but just fast. Fast really isn't dark. I need true Dark psytrance, that isn't fast. (Yes, I know Xenomorph)

  9. You should try Nick Taylor's side project "Snake Thing" His best breakbeat tracks are "Blizzard Of Ooze" and "Scorch".
  10. Dark, gritty psy-techno here from the German masterminds, although M.O.S. could've made a appearance on this compilation with a tune like "My Baby" or the killer track "Timing". Quality stuff here. Best songs are 1,2(!!)3,4,5(!!!!!),6,7,8,9(!!!!!!!!!!!!). #10 is average, I need to listen to it more to give it a decent review. The only bad part about this compilation is that nearly ALL of these songs have been released before, so there might not be a incentive to buy this. 9/10

  13. Texas Faggott - Back to Mad Great psychedelic finnish style track. Just found it yesterday.
  14. X-Dream - Piece Sounds so sad in the beginning, but uses breaks intelligently. A great unreleased track that you can only find on their "X-Dream - The Best 1991-2001" album.
  15. Dead Dog Barking - Hybris 1939-1945 Not really goa, but fits with the acid vibe with the forest sound. Some may find it boring though.

    V/A - Goa Head 11

    Okay Goa-Head, but there are some nice ones here in the minimal and progressive era... Best ones here are Element - Wilkommen (Melodic progressive tune that's nice to listen to), D.Fundation - Chicadilly Circus (Hard and dark, how true minimal is made), Disco Slickers - Hit It Right (Nice, but gets repetitive after a while), The Delta - Supercell (Storming track.) Rest is average or forgettable. 6/10
  18. I need some label/track recommendations, as each time I try to listen to a newer goa track, the "wow" feeling never hits me. Any help?
  19. Man Of The Last 3rd vs Lando ~ Blow Station These guys create a minimalistic atmosphere, but in a groovy way. 90% of people won't like this track much, but if you can get into it, it's very deep.

    I agree! But I would say Cybersnack - Live At Tao is a great progressive goa trance song, very light and melodic!
  21. One of my favorites, I like all tracks here. Best for me are: Wicked Mille, Alien Homes, and Dawn Of Epsilon. 9/10
