  1. I can't say for each neogoa release bc maybe 50% of them were mastered by me (like this one), and I tend to keep as much of dynamics as possible, but to sound reasonably... not too quiet. For the second part, it also really depends on the quality of the production. Some guys releasing their stuff are really newbies (or they just don't care...) and it's hard to polish smt like that. Also it's always harder to balance everything out on compilations as you have bunch of artists...each with a different approach to mix etc. On this particular compilation, more than 50% of the tracks had good production and decent mixdowns (which is actually very good for this music genre!) to start with!
  2. PERFECT BLIND - Stratum [BMSS Records] has been released on 04/09/2017! Genres: Downtempo / Chill Out / Experimental / Tribal Step Get it here: Digital 16bit on BMSS bandcamp Digital 24bit on BMSS bandcamp Bonus EP + album CD on Perfect Blind bandcamp Stratum is Perfect Blinds most nuanced album to date. Ten soundscapes worthy of epic science fiction or futurist fantasy. Clearly destined for the slowly expanding alternative electronic section on BMSS, these intelligent ambient tunes steer clear of boundaries and limits. Prepare to go beyond the familiar. Ethereal orchestral synths underscore his stirring cinematic interpretations. Deep, convincing beats and esoteric textures combine to create space like vistas. Even as the music gains speed it never loses its intensity or cinematic feel. You may find yourself on the edge of Tribal step or at the border of slower Techno with this exploration into the aesthetics of mechanical sound. You will be drawn into the newly formed solar system of Stratum where you will undoubtedly ponder upon the relationship between ourselves and the stars. Tracklist: 01. Stratum IX 02. Manifest Destiny 03. Ancient Machinery 04. Last Torch of a Dying Star 05. Burning Mass (feat. Jay Kay) 06. Foreseen Consequences 07. Escape Velocity 08. The Expanse (Spaced Out) 09. Abyssentient 10. The Long Silent Playing time: 78:03

  6. Tnx for the review Mike, I agree with you from my critic's side on most points... And yeah, next album will be really much darker, immersive and low(or no)-beat... As you heard from those clips. I'll send your order monday, as I was on holiday till now... I actually brought some CDs with me, but I forgot to bring Deimos CDs and, well... Sorry for the delay, otherwise i ship them in a day or two! :-/
  7. I just wanted to say I'm really happy with the feedback so far. And with number of downloads and rating on Ektoplazm (~96%). Also it's #2 on monthly chart, with less than 2 weeks online. If anyone wants to write a review for it, I think Richpa already mentioned Neogoa releases in request topic, I'll be really glad for that too. Also, I won't wait 5 years for a new downtempo album, so actually I have almost 30min of material ready for a new album I already started... Cheers
  8. Tnx guys for the feedback, glad you like it! Hopefully Ektoplazm won't be on hold forever so I'm looking forward to their digital distribution as well... And it's nice to see how different people have different fav track(s)... p.s. Damn I played through Skyrim and can't seem to grasp a joke for that track? :|
  9. Well, first batch is shipped - sorry starkraver, but your preorder didn't come heh. And sheesh, I need to adjust shipping and handling fees right now, our beloved post office really ripped me a new one for some packages. :-/
  10. Ah, yes, the constant struggle... Cool, and even though Croatia is kinda (?) strong in ice hockey in the world, in the past several years it's becoming more and more of a national sport... probably because we won some stuff around Anyway, orders received till today evening I'll ship tomorrow. Next batch of preorders will be shipped thursday/friday.
  11. Haha, I saw your order just about that time.. Tnx. I actually found couple more of them in my traveling bag, so there's more than 7, I'm adding them as these are selling... Bandcamp doesn't allow otherwise. In what way do you mean...?
  12. Hi Anu, download codes are going to be included - on paper - along with the shipped CD I wanted for people to hear the album first, then bonus tracks. I'll send all preorders next monday/tuesday!
  13. Hi guys, For anyone following my work as Perfect Blind and/or my psy alias Deimos and/or collab project Dual Barrel with PsiloCybian... You probably heard the stuff that was released via Ektoplazm site - for PB that's "Three Spires" album and "Surfacing" EP for the most part of it. Three Spires was amongst honorable mentions as best album od 2011, and "Syncope" track from Surfacing found its place on Ektoplazm's Greatest Trips, and again on The Colours of Ektoplazm, along with a remix I did for Lunar Dawn. Since my new PB album Wanderers will be released anytime soon on Neogoa/AE Records, I'd like to share with you a compilation of my old tracks I made a few months ago... But didn't really promote it outside my humble facebook space. Most of my early work - EP's, VA tracks and remixes as PB were released on Croatian netlabel Diggarama, which is defunct for the last 4 years... Since they were all exclusively MP3 releases, I decided to round 'em up in a nice 2-part compilation, so they'll be available for free and for the first time in lossless format. So if anyone's interested in how my downtempo music (and this was my only project up until 2007-08 or so) sounded 8-12 years ago, stream, download, check it out! And if you like it a lot, feel free to donate a few bucks while at it. Or better yet, go and pre-order some of the stuff from my upcoming album Wanderers. PERFECT BLIND - Archives 2003-2008 Tracklisting: 1. Dark - Descent 02:11 2. Dark - Black Dawn 07:27 3. Dark - The New Old 04:38 4. Dark - Man in New York (feat. Cusis) 07:22 5. Dark - Tranqua 07:47 6. Dark - No Quarantine 07:07 7. Dark - Drummer's Path (Remix) 06:25 8. Dark - Athanatic 02:17 9. Light - Weltjugendtag (Remix) 09:43 10. Light - Ethernion 05:56 11. Light - Train of Thoughts 08:23 12. Light - Terok Nor (Remix) 05:17 13. Light - Space Traveler 05:05 14. Light - Map of Eden After the Storms 05:39 Release info: Collection of old tracks from various EP's and remix albums, originally released on Croatian Diggarama netlabel. Over 80 minutes of music divided into 2 parts - Dark & Light. Re-released September 27, 2015 All tracks written, produced or remixed by Igor Čeranić, 2003-2008. Originally released on Diggarama netlabel. >>>Link if you missed it up there<<< Cheers and happy listening!
  14. Hi guys, Igor here. Decided to register for this occasion, instead of lurking here and there. First of all, tnx for the feedback and interest so far. I really enjoyed creating this album, and I think it really will be a step up from previous one (as well as EP), both in terms of the music, production... And it's going to be bigger! You can listen to three tracks from the album right now, and if you pre-order, you'll be able to download them right away. And the digipak itself turned out beautifully printed, so I'm stoked myself! So as Richpa said - there really won't be any bonus material ON the CD itself, because in the remaining 2 mins I couldn't really fit anything besides some mp3s, and mp3 is blergh. But as some have already seen on my Bandcamp, download of two extra tracks will be available through promo codes, which will be given to anyone who purchased a CD, or some bundle. Before the official release, if some of you followed my work from before, long before Ektoplazm, I released several EPs and VA tracks/remixes mostly on Croatian netlabel Diggarama. And back then, everything was released in mp3 format... So few months ago, I decided to compile my early works in WAV format and put it for free onto my Bandcamp. I cannot really promote that as well by myself, so there's a good chance a lot of people missed it... So I'll use this topic to mention that compilation, if anyone's interested in how my downtempo music sounded like 8-12 years ago. Can't seem to embed it here, so here's the url: https://perfectblind.bandcamp.com/album/archives-2003-2008 Cheers and happy listening!
