  1. FINALLY, I have time. Original sin 2, here I come!
  2. F*** yeah! Love the dual track release. One can't go wrong with Love the entire Project Genesis album, to be honest. This has to be one of the highlights. My two favourite tracks of goa are by Talamasca ..believe it or not, he did make great music once upon a time.. (welcome to our dimension. Here, time and reality ....) has anybody figured these lyrics out? Still haven't understood what he's saying. Let's not forget Godford, shall we? Shamanix is a special one. Nuff said. KoxBox is my favourite producer (their early works are amazing, culminating in Dragon Tales) There are too many good tracks to name. Here are some.
  3. Hmm, well, I've never 'officially' (w.e this means) been a part of this community. It comforts me there are many people out there who enjoy goa trance, so I'm not the only lunatic around
  4. Can't get enough Take a voyage through the spiralling melodies of Zirrex!
  5. I am so hopelessly behind. Last time I got to play something properly was like..6-7 years ago. I soon have lots of free time, there's so much I want to play ...I can hardly wait!
  6. As is customary for me, I pay attention to the closing tracks. I enjoyed the entire album, but what's very important to me is a downtempo finisher to bring all the energy levels back to stable region. I love the eery melody finisher on this album a lot! It's 2018, but w/e, you owe yourselves to give this one a listen if you haven't already!
  7. Holy hell, there is so much to this school of production. I am very modestly stuck to listening to my precious 90s goa and yet there is so much more. That's some amazing amazing work, happy 2018!
  8. I have also noticed that when I listen to something that is new to me and it somehow resonates with my "inner craziness" I get massive chills and enjoy the track a lot. For instance, the first time I heard Alienapia - Inner poison. For the longest time I couldn't really grasp IFO, I only liked Electra and Celaeno at first. After listening through the album several times over several years I actually realised every single track is a massive treat. It's weird how that works out, some people listen to IFO once and say it's one of the best albums ever. Of course, I TRY to keep an open mind and every now and then I do find more recent works I enjoy, but they don't grow on me as much as 90s MFG/Koxbox/Pleiadians/Technossomy (or Kundalini for that matter)/D5 etc etc etc. Of the more recent ones I can barely name anything by heart. "Ultimate Experience - Lazarus rising" comes to mind and "Agneton - Horizon in your head" and... and.. see?
  9. Transmissions and Beyond the Infinite .. I want to pick them both. Have to go with Transmissions, I guess.
  10. Yes, I just made that up .. in short, I'm listening to very small amount of different tracks on permament repeat. I blast Koxbox - Fuel on at least twice a day, then MFG's Project Genesis album runs through, MWNN teleport/Jack-in-the-box etc.. You get the idea. Is it normal to be liking/listening a very specific kind of goa (say, 200ish tracks) instead of finding new music to listen to? Am I on the clock before completely losing my mind or is this ok?
  11. Some tracks hit the feels. Not precisely psy, but The Muses Rapt's Spiritual Healing is a special one for me.
  12. I'll be the devil's advocate. My favourite track is actually the last one .. only about 2 milligrams more favourite than #5. Great release!!
  13. It's not like I categorically decide that ALL newschool goa/psy is necessarely bad. I TRY to keep an open mind. Much of the new music sadly doesn't elicit any emotion in me. The 90s goa isn't good because it's from the 90s. It's good because it has a life of its own, if you will. It has soul, substance, whatever you want to call it. There are plenty of recent releases that I enjoy. Frankly, there's an assload more from the old days. Oh and, I was just a kid during the 90s, so it's not like I "grew up with it", I discovered bits and pieces in late 90s and I really got into the genre in like 2005-06. I didn't come to prefer 90s goa because of the bandwagon saying "old is gold" to somehow "fit in" with the big boys. I simply like what they used to make a LOT more. I can also see the other side of the story - that is "things change". Well, I still have the right to not like it The music made back then hasn't disappeared. It's no less relevant than it was back then hence these fellows deserve all the praise. If they lost their way now, one may simply ignore them. Talamasca, AP, Koxbox to name some, made some excellent music. So for THAT music they deserve all the praise imo. I don't worship what, for example, Tala is NOW, I praise him for what he used to be. No different with any other goa "god"
  14. X-Dream - Panic in Paradise KoxBox - Forever After Distance to Goa 5 MFG - New kind of world Khetzal - Corolle 5 albums is too little to take on a desert island :S I need at least ..300!!!
  15. love these vibes From X-Dream - Panic in Paradise, the last track.
