VA Terraformer preorders + new teaser
Tsotsi replied to GS Concept's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
I feel you good sir. Thisis probably the best promotion I've seen. nicely done, good to see a team put in some extra work to make this a little bit more special. -
My oh my, you're gonna want to listen to Merkaba, somehow he creates downtempo goa stompers. kalya Scintilla - his project with Eve Olution - is slower and more chillgressive, but go to the Merkaba music bandcamp page and you'll find a world of amazing downtempo

I think the myriad of Joe rogan samples littered throughout this genre has made me immune to getting bored by any 1 particular persons samples.

Way To Ozram (Self mastered) Hope you enjoy!

That intro was great, who doesn't love that low bass, sounded very didgeridoo like. The second break into the kick is awesome good job. My laptop speakers don't really do justice to music, yet i still thought this was a banger. The only thing I think I would work in is the cut to the first kick, this is personal taste for me though as a like a nice clean intro transition and not just a cut straight into the kick. Once again personal taste. This would go off on a dance floor well done. -
Alright this is just a thread to share an artist that I can't find a mention of on the site. I stumbled across Merkaba from a youtube recommendation. Kalya Scintilla (Merkaba), for those of you that want to hear something unique and full of energy need to listen to the albums 'As Earth to Sky' and 'Rediscovery' Peace and love all

Na it wasn't the Astrix remix although that is lit. Pretty close with the upgrade track, i remember the intro being longer but you never know when you're listening to psytrance out the back of a guys truck at a festival. That Ajja & Cosmosis album = V nice. Thanks for those quick replies amigo's, keep posting guitar bangers by all means. I'll find this track for sure one day (Maybe I already have with the Upgrade hit).

Hey there community, This is a long shot, last week I was at Babylon fetsival in Australia and heard(From the back of a campers truck) this incredible track. The only real info i can give is a 2-3 minute build up of spanish guitar playing in a way that sort of tricked you into not knowing when the kick was about to come in. I can really only liken it to'Juno reactors Conquistador part 1' track. However it was without the vocals but very much with the spanish vibe. When the kick came in the song clearly had that proggy sound. Any recommendations would be great. Or if you are thinking "How the heck does this guy expect us to figure out which gosh dang song he is talking about" then any recommendationsof tracks with that sexy spanish vibe to it would also be appreciated. Much love, happy hunting.

1. Holy ! this intro, i get the feeling nice and early this album is PharaOm’s homage to listeners. It keeps going leading you on waiting for that kick. The kick comes, lit. I will say the beat could have been beefed up but then again it would have taken away from the rest of the song which quickly winds its way into an incredible intro track. 6/7 2.Another nice intro quickly turning into a song perfect of dancefloors. Trying to keep up with the song proves difficult (a very good thing (like a challenge )) then that 4 min break comes in. this track just upped a notch ~ think the final octave in Beyonces ‘love on top’’ but 1034 x better. The outro arrives tricking me into thinking it’s a another break, Definitely didn't want it to end. And its over, 5/7 (Not a weak track in anyway) and onto… 3.Ok first PharaOM album, and first ever review. I’m liking this, Phara’s intro’s are great, the beat slides over the opening melody gracefully and we are off. Had to get up and move to this banger. So far im thinking RA’s Earthcall (Another must listen) is closest iver heard to this. Completely different styles but so good in so many of the same ways. Ispahen Garden rewards those that pay attention and focus on the music. 6/7 4.PharaOm switches it up for this track, his attempt to keep you entertained with something unique is evident not to mention very successful. Holycamoly I wish I could just go out any night i wanted into the melbourne clubs and listen to this. 7/7. 5.Jesus, I started playing rocket league while i listened to this one and had to forfeit for not being able to focus. Another straight banger. Great intro and very clear that this album is turning into a goddamn hot set. Ooh shit he gets you at that mid break, very sneaky, very nice. This track keeps you guessing, full of confident breaks and ‘drops’ (Though i generally consider an entire track a drop in itself, not excluding this amazing piece). Vocals chant their way in and out of Sattva, Rajas, Tamas and then woah, the son takes another incredible turn, PharaOm just got his name in my top 3 artists/albums. 7/7 6.Phara not messing around on this intro, early beat intro not unappreciated after some of these masterpieces. Catchy melody looking forward to the rest of this track (only 2.5 min in) can't see how anyone could fit another track on par. with the others into a full album…….. Aand that sentence took me 3 minutes to write as I got lost in the melody. Hard not to imagine yourself on the dancefloor of a doof to this. 6/7 7.Ambitious (7/7) intro into very nice beat. This song definitely belongs in clubs and festivals around the world. Hard to place into a set for its unique sound yet surely worth the payoff for any dj that could (I’m looking at you Mandala stage Babylon). Another magical outro giving us another lovely 6/7 8.Onto Goa’s Sun Will Shine Forever. And now we have a hand delivery to any dj that plays that rythmic downtempo. A nice little refresher track instantly likeable that still puts me on edge not trusting it stay on track at all. I guess thats only going to be a first time listen experience after the last 7 tracks but a bonus all the same. Very nice track that still has me wanting to sway to it. 7/7. 9.Phara ain't gonna leave us be on this track. Straight back into it can only imagine at this point that i'm gonna have some magic in my ears. Ah shit, i was waiting for a switch up and it gets welcomed warmly at 4:20, shit that nice, any song that can take you on a journey like this, that has you so entranced you cant even remember where which part of the song led you to here is worth being listened to. Drums of Babylon stays true to its name has it pounds you through an intense track. A great foot stomping outro to a great track. 7/7. Overall an amazing album without a forgettable track. Looking back i’ve given it only a few 7’s despite the fact i'm about to rate it 7/7. I’ll explain by saying that as an album played through from start to finish this is incredible, every song keeps you guessing, not many producers can play with their listeners like that. It get’s 7/7 for its consistency, production and the fact that every song fits in so well not to mention the abundance of bangers the psytrance community has just been handed. If i could say one thing it would be that considering the above if each song was mixed into one another it would have been a whole other experience. That is only a final observation and not even a worthy criticism. Not sure how this only ranked #55 on Rotwangs final list of 2013 tracks gonna have to listen to the other 54 albums to find out. I still can’t believe the familiarity I get between this and Ra’s Earthcall. If anyone over asked me to recommend an album close to that or vis a vis this would be it. Final note, if anyone with broader knowledge has anything to recommend me to listen to in a similar vein that would be muchos gracias Tsotsi out.
