  1. The big Lebowsky :-) Fear and loathing in Las Vegas ...... (not just alone about stoners, granted ..... but stil ....... :-) ) Blow? Donnie Darko? Mulholland drive?
  2. What about this one from Dino Psaras: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=230s4yp5aRU I believe this was track 3 on the "Kiss the future" compilation, 1998, Atomic Records ..... Or this imo magnificent song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFMhBhhFKC0
  3. .... .....
  4. Hard one indeed but my vote also go es to legendary Transwave, followed by even legendary BPC. Third place for me is Jaïa .... always preferred their tracks above Total Eclipse tracks (which are good also ;-) ) Also, Jaïa is still making fabulous music today ....even as a one man project ....
  5. Union Jack - Two full moons and a throut (the long version of 12 minutes or so) Age of Love - Age of Love ...
  6. On the goa side of best bassline a lot of true's have been said already ..... On the prog side of things i'd just like to mention BEAT BIZARRE!!!! Especially their debut Lewd ....awesome basslines (repetetive: yes, hypnotic: all the way!!!!!!!! and groovyyyyyy as hell.....)
  7. Crossing Mind = simply great! (but don't expect anything groundbreaking) The last one from Goasia is imo far better than "From other spaces" ....
  8. Khetzal - Corolle Ra - 9th Filteria - Daze of our lives or Sky input (haven't figured that out yet) About Goasia, I definitely prefer his latest album (not released by Suntrip, I know) above "From other spaces". I also haven't heard the Merrow, Energy Waves, Temple of Chaos and Electrypnose albums yet ....
  9. Je pense que je serais en train d' halluciner si ça serait possible!
  10. After a little absence on my part from this forum (not that anyone noticed it of course ;-) ) I was sad to read thé news ..... for several reasons that is, although I am not the most active participant on this forum (I usually drop in as a guest to read the reviews and comments on interesting topics) I am very fond of this forum and most of its participants. It is part of my "cyber history" and via this forum I found many musical gems (for which I owe thanks to many writers of excellent reviews) and yes, it is a fact that for some reason, activity has dropped here .... I guess it's what you call life .... I think the most important thing I want to say here is: A massive big THANK YOU to Mars for doing what he did all those years to keep this site up and running! I wish you all the best for the future, big, big respect! Now, on topic, it seems to be a choice between skills and good intention .... a hard one and I must agree with Anoebis who initially dropped the idea of combining those forces! That would be the most sensitive thing to do for the survival and new impulse of this site. I hope this will be possible. Anyway, since a lot of you already voted for the good intentions I will vote for the skills, even if he possible hasn't got the time, but I hope they both end up even and a statement has been made in favour of combining forces! All the best!
  11. Downloaded I, VI, VII and XIII....thnx for sharing by the way.....however I wasn't able to download XI or XII....link wasn't....? Anyway, thank you for sharing these mixes....I like....... ;-)
  12. I remember.....THNX! ;-)
  13. THANX for the goodies! The mixes were made for those girls girls or for those girls girls...in your mind? ... hehe ... ;-) Thnx anyway man!!! -X-
  14. Thanks for the effort Mars! Nice to see the results already..... :-)
  15. GREAT NEWS and looking forward to this one! Thanks G. ! ;-)
  16. After Crop Circles and BPC, you're planning to give us Etnica, Toi Doi, Crossing Mind, ... ?!? I wish you the very best of luck and when listening to to those future releases, I will bow my head for you!!! Could it be that "Goa" is about to resurface......like a phoenix out of its ashes? *happy happy* :-)
  17. I agree with some already mentioned here like : KoxBox - Dragon Tales Hallucinogen - Twisted / The Lone Deranger BOTFB - Twin Sharkfins Pleiadians - IFO / Family of Light ... but another one no one mentioned (if considered oldschool) is: Yamabikaya - The arrival!!!
  18. These pop up at random: Battle of the Future Buddhas - The other way around Hallucinogen - Space Pussy Juno Reactor - Conga fury I.M. - Devil ... Reading about Psy Harmonics, another one springs to mind: Psyko Disko - Nobody blew me of my feet when I first heard it back then in 1996? Now it leaves a smile on my face thinking about it....which has been a while....hehe...
  19. Some israeli stuff: Dark Soho Domestic Ananda Shake Pop Stream (haven't heard his last one though...might be cheesy...) U-Recken X-Noize (the earlier the better) Psy Craft (the earlier the better) Psysex (the last cd 'Healing' is not Psysex as we knew it...) ...
  20. Voted! Thanks for the trouble Mars! :-)
  21. Actually, I like the song "Return of the machines". Of course it's 'a millions miles away' from his extraordenary stuff he used to produce (e.g. "Delirious & "Pigs in Space") but it's imo not that bad.... This one is taken from his album "Inner Twist" from 2006 released on BNE (what else...hehe...) Anyone hoping that Ofer will return to the "Goa-scene".........keep hoping......like me.......hahahaha
  22. A happy and healthy 2010 to Psynews and all of its contributors!! Best wishes from Mephistopheles....
  23. save the best for last? ...
  24. ... .... .... I find this one more enjoyable to listen too as a whole than their previous one....because the bad tracks here aren't as bad as the bad ones in Vicious Delicious....downside however is that the good ones on The legend of the Black Shawarma aren't as good as in Vicious....perhaps with an exception of .... euh ... one...? Anyway, this could have been worse in my opinion.....but that doesn't take away the fact that I prefer their earlier work ..... and this has little to do with that phase.... Side effect: my girlfriend -who just doesn't understand my love for goa or psychedelic trance cause in most cases she gets nervous of it- actually likes some tracks of it... an example I think of how Infected succeeded in their queeste to cross the borders of (Psychedelic trance) and reach more and more people.... evolution ... ...
  25. I found KLIMENT - THE PERPETUAL RITUAL very enjoyable.....but perhaps too Shponglesqeu inspired for your taste.....
