    Thanks for your time and effort Rotwang! I also have to admit that due to reasons of time I did miss the voting .... and like Paul's Eye I too was a bit surprised by Shpongle being number 1 at downtempo .... (not that it's not good but ... ) ;-)

    Don't worry about it!! No tension was created, sometimes it's difficult to understand the underlying in typed conversations .... maybe my answer was a bit blunt as well ... :-)

    Also interesting is a new theory I heard about that the universe as we know it, 3D, could be some kind of hologram, a projection, and that "the real action" would play out in a simpler, flatter cosmos where there is no gravity .... something to do with string theory but I am not an astrophysic so ...

    Hallo everyone, you'd probably already noticed me around but a welcome is always nice, not? Been reading this forum since the late nineties (I think) but only since 2006 I registered ..... most of the time I am too lazy to eloborate on things (sorry for that) but I do enjoy reading the things you guys post .... most of you have a great sense of humour by the way, anyway I am just a plain "goa" lover, I don't make music or spin records so I have no knowledge on the technical side of things maybe that's why I do not elaborate a lot (or never) .... blabla .... but I feel sort of connected with you all because of our love for this music ..... sorry but the beer is kickin' in I believe ..... hmm .... Belgian beer .... best in the world!

    Thailand and Cambodia (weather, nature, food, atmosphere, ...) .... Also did enjoy very much the south of Morocco ....pleasantly surprised by the people there (many problems with Moroccons in my country) ....

    my girlfriend calls it "freakemuziek" (music for freaks) .... hahahaha ..... I stopped trying to convince her it's not .... Her explanation is that she likes the building up in electronic music when goa is constantly at an high .... (don't really find the right words now in English to explain better, sorry)

    eternal doubts ... small aversion towards organised religion ... but that doesn't mean I'm not intersted in religion ... in the end we are all stardust ...

    Studied 2 years of history at the Antwerp University after which I studied 3 years to become a licensed teacher (history-English-religion) .... However during my last year I really started to dislike teaching ... too much paperwork and stuff ... so now I manage the daily operations of a small 4-star hotel (36 rooms) in the center of Antwerp which I have been doing now for the past 4 years ... interesting but stressfull at times ... After I was fired at the first hotel I worked for (reorganisation because of crisis) I was unemployed for a year ... traveled most of that time and was lucky enough to find a new job after my first job interview ...
