spend more time in it, add sounds, add layers or perhaps samples, and you can make variations on the rythms and basslines; just an idea

Favourite track by Battle of the future Buddhas?
Manuser replied to Manuser's topic in General Psytrance
yea the tribal dark track is neuroglider, a great one! yep i knew i forget some, i haven't heard those track you mentioned that's why -
Ok it's full of energy, and it really sounds old school goa, but saying it sounds old school is not necessarily a good point, at least for me. It's not varied enough, and I don't see any track which has its own "personnality", a track you can immediatly recognize, like Maia, Electra, Alcyone... and of course IFO was much more complex. The album is like a full track of 70 mn. But some people might love it, I am just tired of this sound.

Beat Bizarre - Somersault Industries
Manuser replied to Quark's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Pandoras' groove box was really interesting. Curious to hear this new one -
Synergy is by far their best work, Contact was quite disappointing to me, if the new album is a kind of Synergy it will do it for me

Choose among these track, my favourite is by far Domestic bliss which is still AMAZING! Legendary track according to me...Master of Deception is great too, it could be longer, like almost 15 minutes in my opinion I also dig Sly, Neuroglider, Tigerhill, etc. Choose yours !

i thought your track was easy to listen to, but too simple, quite empty, not complex enough

Promon - Funky fumes (Inpsyde media, 2002)

Chromosome - The genome project (Yellow sunshine explosion, 2004) 1. The beginning 2. Missing link (Atmo remix) 3. Cro magnon 4. Human loop 5. Mutant androids 6. Computerized 7. Al hybrids 8. Future evolutions 9. Entering nirvana Swedish act. Listen to it and you will rapidly notice it sounds like Logic bomb's morning trance. Useless to give a review track by track, but the album starts with a slow morning track, and the rest is what I would call Soft Morning Full on : Full on because of the basslines, but soft and morning. Indeed, don't look for powerful kicklines and twisted, noisy sounds here! You see how does Logic bomb sound? Track 4 Human loop is really similar to Shadow of the beast, a cheesy melody, and sweet light sounds which delight your ears. My favourite track is n°2 Missing link Atmo remix (not Atmos : )) : Sounds a bit full on but lighter, and I love these delicious basslines...these delicous sounds. Quite soft track, and that "thing" I love (at about 5.00 till the end of the track) which sounds like a voice. Don't ask me why I dig it. Of course, there is nothing impressive, but it does it for me. The whole album got a lot of "semi"-melodies. Track 5 Mutant androids is my second favourite. Typically Logc bomb's sound : ) The album ends with a psy ambient track, not my cup of tea. If you like V/A - Trance Scandinavian Express (Turbo Trance) you might enjoy this album. You want soft full onish sound which contains some cool and soft melodies, why not giving it a try... My rating : 6/10

hmmm i am sure you will find the right person (the french expression is more funny : "trouver chaussure à son pied" which says "find the right shoe to your foot") lol, yes you will find the right shoe to your foot, i don't doubt it, when i see your face i can't doubt one second Honestly and seriously be patient, and you find ur dreamgirl, the one who deserves you, you are cool and clever, and girls were born to love men

Mellow music here. As you said DP this album will delight melodic trance lovers! First of all I am an uplifitng and melodic trance lover, but if you are "allergic" to this kind of music, I doubt this album will satisfy you. There is nothing twisted in this album, it's pure morning trance, a lot of melodic layers, a melodic atmosphere from the start till the end. Most of the tracks are progressive, repetitive, I'd say entrancing and hypnotic for some, for example track 1 Analog Haste which might be my favourite here (with the last one); it's a trance journey, which sounds a bit old, but i love it. I also liked that they put a interlude, track 9, it makes a break before the last track. This last track "Flair" is awesome, simply amazing, I can"t believe I can hear such melodic prog trance like this today There is a huge melodic atmosphere, with cool basslines in it, it really reminds me old trance music. I will not give a review of each track, but on the whole if anyone here knows Planisphere's trance, it 's quite similar, and you will enjoy this album for its relaxing morning atmosphere, but don't look for twisted sounds here, not strong basslines either. You have to be in the mood for this album, to listen to on a great sunny day. It deserves a solid 8.5/10, not more not less.

Hux-flux... Logic bomb are much better IMO

Can't remember this 221493[/snapback] He was talking about the Deedrah remix of Lepton head. HeadSpin got nothin similar with Lepton head original, but perhaps more similarities with the deedrah remix, yes it's psychedelic as possible, but it's much more twisted! Perhaps some synthlines are similar, i have to hear it again...

well depends how you have sex, depends on the situation. Celine Dion yes if you are romantic and you love your gf, but if it's pure sex...hardcore music! (just kidding), but you see what i mean

Lucy in space with diamonds - Emerald city (Creon records, 2003) 1 Intro 01.24 2 Space Travel 8.32 3 Diamonds and Dreams 9.10 4 Stars comes out at night 8.11 5 Radioland 6.36 6 Dream tripp of a lifetime 8.22 7 Galactic Research 7.50 8 Sky Divers 8.54 9 Powerpipe 10.52 10 Toxic Jam 6.12 11 Outro 0.24 Lucy in space with diamonds. They are Swedish, yet their sound is very different from what you can hear in the swedish psytrance and progressive trance scene, i.e. Son kite, Vibrasphere, Logic bomb, Ticon, Human blue, etc.. That album is full on, and generally not my cup of tea...but I gave it a try...All I can say it's that it can please some old school nostalgic. Of course, it's full on, and it's hard, it is actually hard psychedelic trance, hard basslines, hard kicklines, but sometimes not so noisy, at least for some tracks, and some good melodies. Track 1 and 11 are not real tracks, useless to talk about them...I pretty enjoy track 7 Galactic Research , for its cool melody. Track 8 Sky Divers is very very hard, too much for me. It starts fast, like a radio edit or something, and all I can say is I wouldn't like hearing that on party, it makes your ears feel crazy, with that strident sound. Be careful! ...My favourite is track 4 Stars comes out at night , energetic, and it really reminds me Deedrah's remix of Lepton head (originally made by Shakta) , not as good, useless to precise it, but it has some excellent melodies and the synthlines are very very similar to lepton head Deedrah remix! This one can be a dancefloor killer. Definitely my favourite on the album. Another cool track is for example track 9, which is pretty soft. Other tracks like track 5 are a bit too hard for me, but this album will delight full on lovers, and some old school lovers who are not "allergic" to this kind of music. I give it a 5.5/10 cause I find it quite varied, and it's not GMS, so ... ...And listen to track 4 (*thumbs up*)

that's one of the rarest old school bands i still can listen to and still am amazed by their music. kabalah (my favourite) mahadeva (of course, i 'll never get bored of it) people can fly liquid sun Power gen (live) (live is ten times better than the original, just me) no one ever dreams dancing galaxy so many tracks...they were from another planet...

Oryx - Advanced retromodel (Iboga records, 2004) 01 - The crow 02 - Bricks N pieces 03 - Electro-cute 04 - Kong-fusion 05 - Connect it 06 - Yugi 07 - Funky-five 08 - This goes back 09 - Jaw control Yes you immediatly recognize the Reefer Decree's bassline I can't say the album is bad, it just becomes boring to listen to it from track 1 to track 9. Otherwise i don't think there are boring tracks in it, for me all the tracks are worth listening to if you listen to them as singles, but as I just said, from track 1 to 9, you get tired...cause too much tracks sound similar. I am pretty sure it's because of this bassline (which i like ) but it's too much similar from the start till the end...my favourite tracks are 04 - Kong-fusion and 08 - This goes back, both sound like classics to my ears, and track 02 too, because of the groovy bassline, reminds me Billy jean . If you want something groovy with a melodic touch, give it a try, but the album could has been better with some (still groovy but) darker tracks in it, for more variety. My rating : 6/10.

What you can like in this compilation is that it's not poor in melodies, typically that morning swedish trance, always sweet melodies, sweet, light sounds, good, light basslines as always, definitely worth listenin to. It doesn't surprise, but it sounds so morning and sweet to my ears, it doesnt' bore me like a lot of recent psytrance do I'd give a rating of 7.5/10. If you like Logic bomb, this is for you. Bad point : the sample of Spielberg in the last track. (I am totally unable to make a review of each track, but Basilisk made it right ) PS : Nothing is better than a good The third revelation

Listened to it 2 times, I'd say they try to make modern basslines with melodies, the whole album is pretty good, some melodies catch the attention. But did anyone notice that some melodies don't fit the basslines? I mean the melodies could fit better with other basslines, like track 01. Automatik, the basslines rocks i have to admit, remind me SUN Project - sexperimental track 02 if i am not wrong, this kind of bassline...but the melody don't fit with it. I like the melody, same as Paul Van Dyk - Seven ways () (in less good), i like the basslines too, but both don't fit together, and it's true for other tracks, don't remember which ones...final rating : I'd give a 6.5/10, cause it's actually better than a lot of stuff you can hear today. PS : i was surprised to hear a remake of Fade to grey (the last track).

Different to Headcleaner, less deep, less hypnotic, more dance floor, more progressive, more groovy, it's worth listening to IMO. I love the basslines on the whole, and the morning trance touch.

Listened to it 2 times, and this album doesn't catch my attention, generally i listen to albums doing something else, and the 2 listens i got don't remind me something amazing, it's a kind of soft full on, morning full on, some melodies, but nothing original... of course it's quite pleasant to hear this kind of music, but it's not memorable... : )
