  1. This track from Nu NRG reminds me good things from my student life, nice one not fan of the other track though My fav NU NRG track is Free fall
  2. Mustafa your track got deleted. So I will post another track (that I really like) (Galaxy journey) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAU-ilFZAvU
  3. Phonokol for old school, it was a big label, actually the label that got me into goa trance but obviously there were plenty of important labels (Matsuri, Blue room, etc.) Iboga should be mentioned somewhere, I guess in psyprog?
  4. That was quick! Thanks Artem And I have another one here https://youtu.be/ewKJsjls7_I?t=2045 but this one is gonna be tougher to ID i am afraid.
  5. Start at 58:45 Any idea? Thanks Edit: another one here https://youtu.be/ewKJsjls7_I?t=2045starts at 34:05
  6. Typical oldschool euro trance Hiver & Hammer - Lost in my mind
  7. This is an album I didn't manage to listen until the end. This track (or IIRC there was two) with the sample 'We have to see we have to know' gave me a headache. Too noisy. For me this is not even psytrance anymore but more like hardcore, not my style.
  8. I like this one too Mr Mustafa. Quite an addictive style IMO. 8/10 Next: Drone - White screen
  9. Quite underrated this one Difficult to list 10 favourites by here we go (random order) Planet BEN - Trippy future garden Chi-A.D. - Earth crossing Chi-A.D. - Anno domini Astral projection - Another world Pleiadians - I.F.O. Dark Soho - Sun spot Ololiuqui - Dito Drone - 23 days Ubar tmar - Ubarpedia Ra - 9th Toï doï - Technologic Oh yeah I listed 11 as well.
  10. It is funny you review this album now, just 2 days ago I was listening to it and was wondering why there is not much talk about Zirrex here and why so few reviews. He is one of those underrated artists in the goa trance scene. CD3 has grown on me.
  11. I was joking anyone can understand your love for full on, not my cup of tea but taste is personal after all!
  12. It would have been a 7.5/10 if not for these lyrics. The melodic background is well executed and I like the slow tempo, but the vocals ruin the track for me. A 5/10. Next: Way out west - Killa
  13. Last time I was angry about this is when I bumped into Deadmau5 - Clockwork It is a remix of The orange theme (Cygnus X) The orange theme has been remixed 50 times or so, and Deadmau5 remix it but change the name? Lame. (Well The orange theme was also a remix of a classical song (or the music of the movie) but at least there was some great change in it) About the Orkidea track, I can see credit is given to Dead can dance on Discogs. This is a very common thing for trance artists to sample well known songs...
  14. Yes they all sampled the original track composed in 1988 (Dead can dance - The host of seraphim). By the way the forum tranceaddict.com was very active when I was posting there during years 2002-2005, I could get a lot of recommendations.
  15. After reading all this praise about the Celestial intelligence track and especially its ending, I was expecting more seriously it is good, a very good track I like it but not that extraordinary IMO. The Mindsphere is pure beauty! Damn we need more tracks like this!! 9/10 for this track. A bit off topic but anyone who likes these 2 tracks should check Virtuart and Chronomyst - Zanchin, wonderful trance track.
  16. Wow! It's been ages I didn't listen to this track, pure good memories a unique hypnotic goa track. Wish I could find more of this style. Thanks for posting. Pretty good IMO! I just wish more happened after the 4th minute mark (the same melody comes back) but the mastering is flawless and it is good for chilling, the dub-step like beat fits very well. 7/10. Next: Amanians - Fireworks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qhzs_pjCfWg
  17. It did grow old but anyway it is still worth a mention: Chi-A.D. - Pathfinder.
  18. To the readers of this forum, it does look like you hold a grudge against full on though. Lately you replied to this review of Trance2MoveU here https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/34666-va-distance-to-goa-1/ and the review has been deleted by the moderation, but you wrote something like "well maybe you can't appreciate this old school goa compilation because you are into full on" which was ironic since you always tell people that "taste is personal" (and I do agree that taste is personal...) I personnally can't stand full on but anyway i hardly see people around here who likes it (i mean psynews) except for 3 or 4 members (from what i have read). Back on topic, I am not too much fan of today's goa trance but as suggested above I can definitely recommend Neogoa. I miss old sound like Dark Soho, Darshan though. ...and is there any recent release around in the same style as both Scandi90s compilations released by Zion 604? By the way Elysium your new album sounds very good, great news for the scene.
  19. "culture of human beings" is probably my favourite acid trance track ever released. I was a teenager and one night I heard this on the radio and fell in love straight away, few days later I bought the compilation Cyber trance 5 where you can also listen to Intoxication - Flight 303 and Darshan - Navigator. Epic stuff, pure rave music, can't do much better than that. 9/10 next: Sandman - Shockwave https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lo-0foqWK1E
  20. Not sure what you mean by "new school trance" but if we mean any music released since year 2005 or so then I just want to mention one album that I am surprised has not been mentioned yet Ubar tmar - Ubarpedia, Triple CD released in 2012 it is my favourite album of the last 10 years (probably).
  21. Very good track, the first half sounds kind of darkish and hypnotic... and after the 13 minute mark the moods changes and we got a nice eastern melody...more could have happened after that melody but still 19 minutes is a long track and a very good one. 8/10. Next: Bodh Gaya - Im rachen des jaguars https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDmU-qYwV7o
  22. Marketing helps a lot. About the discussion on Infected mushroom being copycats of Astral Projection or MFG...well in my opinion they don't sound close at all to these artists. But if they ever sounded similar to a psytrance/goa artist from Isreal surely it has to be Sandman, listen to Sandman's first album Witchcraft and you'll hear similarities. But still if you listen to a track like Dracul it sounds nothing like what was made before or maybe I am unaware similar tracks existed (which is possible). I actually got the opposite impression that a few artists tried to copy Infected mushroom after they released their fist album (Talpa, Nystagmus...) Anyway their music became old quickly and now it does sound cheesy to my ears.
  23. Haha that Sonic empire track above is nice memories for me! The Order odonata track is ok IMO but very generic at the same time and does sound a bit too old, so it is a 5/10 for me Next: Ubar tmar - Isis
