  1. This album http://www.discogs.com/Capsula-Synthesis-Of-Reality/release/562303can be considered as "psychill" I guess. There are quite a few vocal samples in it, so maybe you can give it a try, check on youtube someone uploaded the full album here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svCpqmshHn4
  2. Hallucinogen remixed by Ott! This is the best work I can think of when it comes to remixes. These are downtempo (dub trance) remixes of goa tracks. Favourite track: #4 "Spiritual antiseptic" (Minty fresh confidence). I prefer this over any Shpongle album... well I shouldn't compare this to Shpongle, I like Shpongle but it contains loads of samples of world music, "In dub" is more on the trance side and it sounds fresher, cleaner. Definitely a must have. This makes me wonder how a Hallucinogen album remixed by Koxbox (downtempo) would sound like
  3. Haven't listened to the full compilation yet but the opening track is stunning, here you go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCLrRW5YFVk
  4. Nothing wrong with being gay
  5. Steve Roach - Mystic Chords & Sacred Spaces is dark space ambient and it's so so powerful and deep man, it's magical. But if you like your beatless ambient a bit less dark I would strongly recommend Thom - Brennan - Satori, it's 1 track of 71 minutes http://www.discogs.com/Thom-Brennan-Satori/release/1971421 It's very relaxing.
  6. Same as HappyHorse here. I really liked Hallucinogen - In Dub but this Etnica album sounds too empty for me. I do like the Trip Tonite version though but not enough tracks amaze me here. Anyway good luck with this release.
  7. Great recommendations, so I tried to listen to some stuff you recommended and the ones I prefer are the Connect.ohm album, Asura - LifeĀ² and Aes Dana - Leylines. Not too much fan of VA - Oxycanta. I'll get the Connect.ohm album for sure and probably Leylines as well. Didn't listen to CBL yet though.
  8. Do you know The Digital Blonde? Serenade is a fantastic album. Track Hydro is my favourite
  9. "Out of control" is pure brilliance, it would be one of the best track of all time with a proper mastering One hell of a track
  10. Because of the complexity/technicity of his music and it's extremely trippy (big majority of his tracks).
  11. Thanks all. I'll see what I can get.
  12. A remix of X-dream - Rain Love the original, curious to hear the AP remix.
  13. Hi. I never got into downtempo stuff much but it grew on me lately, I heard so many good words about Ultimae and I'd like to give it a try, finally: Could you list the 3 most essential releases?
  14. Yeah "G Lock" is a bit similar to Green nuns in sound I like that track. Other favourites are "Twister" (great psychedelic atmosphere), "Meltdown". Solid album, Phantasm is the real deal!
  15. Oldschool goa? Hux Flux never produced goa, still this news is pretty exciting, hopefully we got something very psychedelic that's what I expect from Hux Flux hopefully it won't disappoint!

    Noma - Navigator

Underground non melodic psychedelic trance. Very well produced album, dark and agressive (atmospheric at times) the tracks are built in a slow and smart way. It might sound repetitive for some but I like it this way - no rush the tracks progress... but slowly. 7.5/10 - Recommended
  17. Agree it's a mixed bag, really inequal, track 2 is terrible because of the vocals, vocals are not necessarily a bad thing but here it sounds bad to say the least. I don't understand the hype about Possessed, ok it's energetic but i don't like the cheesiness, it's not bad but not great either. Vavoom is the best MWNN track ever, really a beauty that set too high standards for the rest of the disc. Own the world is a brilliant track. Parallel universe as well. That said, too many fillers (nothing special tracks)... on the whole I find this album average. 5.5/10.
  18. Pleasant album, more on the progressive side of trance (not really psychedelic). Not an essential but good enough if you like chill trance on a sunny day. "Correlate" is particularly good. 7/10.
  19. "fear and anger" @2:30 enough said essential album of the decade 2010.

MFG - New Kind Of World

This is my fav MFG album, definitely more accomplished and complex than The prophecy, brigther and more melodic than Project genesis. Highlights are "when we dream", "we are the machines", "the waking mind", "peaceful relaxation" and "new kind of world". I like how they chose one of the strongest track to close this album out. One of the best pure goa albums ever made. 9/10.
