Wow i totally forgot about that track, so I had the compilation The world of trance, back in the days and that was the best track of it. DJ Responce - Passion of harmony Beautiful track from 1995 -
Son Kite - Prisma (Iboga Records)

Their first album released in 1999 was the best http://www.discogs.com/Son-Kite-Minilogue/master/34429 It was so different back then I hated it at first and it took me a while to actually love it, and today still love it, brilliant sound. Hope we get something similar. -
Taucher - Happiness Good bassline! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaNmWl9DZ7E

Yeah my opinion is biased anyway, i was a young teenager back then and they were playing this track a lot on a radio station. This has been remixed like millions of times, I hated though when Deadmau5 remixed it and named it "Clockwork (original mix)" seriously what a d*** move PS: Moonman's orange juice mix of The orange theme is awesome.
-
I always thought the Psychaos was very close (maybe too much) to the original but yes good remix. Don't agree about the orange theme, personal taste I always prefered the "original" (hard to say original though ) Anne Clark - Our darkness (Total eclipse remix), sounds better to me but it's tough to compare, since the original is an old track and a very good one considering its age. The Infinity Project - Hyperspaced (Doof Remix): excellent remix even though I am usually not a fan of Doof but it's a solid remix. Man with no name presents Yogy & Grey one - Big troubles in outer space (Oforia remix): excellent remix love the dark atmosphere. 3 2 1....(before radi (and MWNN) enters this thread)

The most complex goa trrance was written by Etnica/Pleiadians
Manuser replied to radi6404's topic in General Psytrance
LOL i'm not trying to convince anyone, i like Etnica/Pleiadians but i am not the biggest fan either, usually I try music I don't like 3 or 4 times if I still don't like I move on, too much music around to lose time! -

Some scientists say you should try a food or drink you dislike at least 5 times before saying you dislike it for good. That's how the company Schweppes promote their drinks, most people dislike them the first time because it's bitter, lots of people start to like their bitter drinks (Tonic...) after 3 or 4 extra trials. I guess it's the same with music. -

Indeed taste is taste, i also surprised myself disliking goa in general for a while when i was living in Australia for 2 years (disliking is a strong word, but i tried listening to it and it was doing nothing, and i was enjoying euro trance a lot at the same time) when back to my country where it's colder, i liked goa trance again... so i don't know sometimes it also depends on environments i guess, weather, etc (at least for me! but that was a weird experience) -
A nice one here (Time drop) to close a progressive trance album (Reefer Decree - Sound frames)

+1 exactly my feeling. Spot on. My opinion as well. I think track 2 is a little masterpiece really, but then I can't help being disappointed by the last three tracks even though "Og" got some brilliant passages but also some boring ones. The best in this album occurs from track 1 to track 5 IMO. Track 2 "Excursion" is really beautiful, my fav here, the three following tracks "Phased transition", "Spectra" and "Nexus Plexus" follow the same mood, it's dark, atmospheric and reward patience and attention. Unlike many here I don't dig that much "Irrelevant elephant" sounds too techno for me. Anyway usually I play this from track 1 to track 5 and I love it. Rating: 7/10.

I agree that it is not a great album, most tracks are missing something. Track 1 is annoying (listen to it and you'll know what I mean). Still a couple of tracks are interesting, like 7-Voice of God and also 9-Utopia, both morning tracks. Utopia is the most interesting track in this album and maybe the softest one. But this is not enough to recommend a buy. 5/10.

and if we are talking about long and slow build ups this one is certainly my favourite (Chi-A.D. - Anno Domini) it constantly builds until the break down around the 5 minutes mark
-
Jaïa - Breathing ocean is underrated, nice build up until 1.45

Old school albums that could use a Remaster
Manuser replied to Penzoline's topic in General Psytrance
Indeed i remember the track Mystical appearance in Goa sounded weak. -
Maybe try Zirrex "Lost in time" especially CD1 you should like it.

no one rated the track above but we can give it another try with this track: Quirk - Ping https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOeKVmyNivA

Still got the same opinion about these two, especially Track 3 White screen, still got the album, won't sell it!

I agree with Earwall about Asia 2001. First I was gonna say Psygone but you mentioned Psygone at the end of your first post, so yes Asia 2001 got a unique sound but you should check albums like Dreamland and Amnesia (if you haven't already).
